- Music Director Naushad rejected Kishore Kumar's voice in his songs. In this video we give an example where Naushad used Mohd. Rafi for giving playback on Rajesh Khanna. Normally Kishore Kumar gave playback for Rajesh Khanna but music composer Naushad preferred otherwise.

Naushad and his coterie always promoted his own favourites. No issues. Everybody does it in their personal capacity, considering the comfort levels. But walking out of the jury and not picturising Kishore's song shows this man's mindset. Not having Mannada, Kishoreda in his musical ambit exposed his darker side. Nevertheless, Kishoreda proved to the world what he is made of, a slap to 'the great Naushad'. A singer, music director, lyricist, an actor, producer and composer. To top it all a whimsical character! We loved him!! A gem!! Mannada too proved that he could sing romantic songs for the main actor rather some background score or his songs picturized on character actors. Loved him too.

Pandit Bhimsen Joshi ji ne ek baar Kishore da ke bare me badi baat kahi thi ..ki shayad ye singer agar classics Sikh lete to humari chhutti ho jati..
Naushad sir was biased against Kishore da why ?may be his choice. But Kishore da was gem no matter what Naushad had not given any chance but Kishore da was shining star and always will be our legendary singer. Naushad very rarely used Manna Dey as well, inspite of his classical prowess.... He did use Mukesh and Talat Mehmood in the initial phase of his career but later it was all Rafi... And that is OK... People will have their choices and preferences.... But what I would like to know is how Kishore felt towards Naushad.... Did he regret not singing for Naushad or did he not care too much about it? Do you know, Rahul?
Yes I know and Asha Bhonsle has spoken about it on various occasions/forums. Like most humans, he did care about who liked him and who didn't. By the 70s, Naushad was already a relic so I'm not sure KK regretted not getting many songs from Naushad.

Noushad sahab ko pasand nahi..tha..kishore kumar..isse kishore kumar ka kad chota nahi hota. Naushad Sahebs biase against Kishore Saheb is unfortunate. Both were geniuses in their own ways.
What Nausad did with Kishore Kumar that doesn't matter but what Bhim sen Joshi said about Kishore Kumar that is the fact because I there are hell and heaven difference between Naushad and Bhimsen joshi

पता नही, किस भाषा मे कहूँ। पर नौशाद साहब संगीतकार तो अच्छे थे, पर सबसे महान नही, उनसे ज्यादा अच्छे संगीतकार बहुत थे। सचिन दा खास करके, क्यूँकि उनके संगीत सबसे अलग था, और वह हर किस्म का संगीत बनाते थे। नौशाद साहब को किशोर दा पसंद नही थे, तो इससे किशोर दा का कुछ भी नही बिगड़ा। 70s मे नौशाद साहब 60s की रात के बाद 70s की सुबह देख ही नही पाए।

Don’t know that why the legendary musician like Naushad has so much hate for our legendary singer Kishore Kumar but it’s hurt’s too much for the music lover’s , Mhd Rafi sahab was also a legendary singer we have no grudge against him because he was a very good human being but Naushad sahab was so biased against Kishore Kumar that shouldn’t be done
