The new pier is pretty enough. Shame what happened to the old one, but hey ho. I grew up in Colwyn Bay (late 1960s to the 1980s) and still have a soft spot for it.
thanks for this walk. my folks are from here. my uncle taught at Erias years ago. many a fond memories of visiting here. I am planning to do a walk around old Colwyn, there are some nice back streets and paths that look splendid on a dusky winter evening
I went to school there for 2years 60 years ago. I remember it with great affection. I think we only had a wimpy bar.
