Like all towns and cities these days, shops have shut down and been replaced by the same type of shops. Everybody buys online or go to bigger shopping estates. Wallasey of my youth was a busy, thriving town. Shops were busy and pubs and clubs packd on a weekened. Up the road in New Brighton, when the sun was out, it was heaving. There wasn't much to do there but people love the seaside. Even after the amazing outdoor baths were knocked down in 1991, crowds still flocked. I left 35 years ago but go back to see family and its rare I meet someone I knew. Think most of my generation have left.

Gosh the place has changed so much since I was there in the sixties. It would be nice if you could perhaps tell us what street you are on or maybe the street sign would suffice. But loved the video brought back some memories of my childhood so a big thank you

I am in total agreement there. I used to live in Hemel and am familiar with its history. If you plan to film a town then please do a little research beforehand.

That building by the amphitheater is unsafe & is held up by scaffolding as council want to keep it but people of Chester want it knocked down as there’s the other part of the amphitheater underneath it.

Please take this as more of a suggestion than criticism as you are grand good at chosing magical areas & do love to highlight uniques beauties, I admire & adore your videos. This one....was rushed, camera movements way to fast & hurried. There might have been an instigator, perhaps rain was imminent & you hadn't proper gear.... I stuck with it to the end though, for I love exploring & this area has lots of magics liken rock bluffs, very magnetizing brook, carvings..... Very fun that we walked here.... Hope there are more secret "gardens" in your travels.

I live in Chirk! The Cadbury factory roasts the cocoa beans, then extracts the cocoa butter from the cocoa solids before shipping to Bournville. They also make drinking chocolate there I believe. No chocolate products are made there unfortunately! The towers beyond the field where the children were playing is Kronospan (you passed the entrance on the way to the Co-op), a producer of chipboard and MDF products.

Aye, what a mucky day & aren't you the nimble one, me I'd given in quite a few times to sliding the embankments for screamy chill dunks. The trees added a delightful affect of bright Springy greens neoning everything. So lovely to hear childrens' voices echoing cheerily from bright red coats, I've naught seen parents much less kids woodwalking over here across the Pond (addicted to tech gadgets they are). I used to go for my nights out in the 80s ,,live bands , great bars …everything ! And look at it now ! They knocked down the iconic buildings (Helena house and the fleece hotel..which were art decor ) And paved it over and turned it into this depressing shit !

Surprised me to see the lack of piss head tramps with cans😂because that's all i see in the town centre and the smell of the puff

Townhouse restaurant London prices, what a rip off,. I live in Oswestry and have been in spoons once or twice, but there’s loads of pubs dotted around the place, that market used to be rammed years ago, not so now,. The town looks a little tired and drab considering it was June ! Towns not changed much from when I was a kid, 70 y/o now and the population is pretty ancient to,. The musical entertainment was supplied by a few of the “intergrated” community, once all you would hear was welsh or English voices, now it’s polish, Romanian, Bulgarian, etc, it’s still a nice place with mostly nice people tho,.

Beatles! Eeee! I noticed, yes, the old brick skyrise had bird statues atop it -- but so did the dock light poles & ship's mast (only those moved!) Nice layout what with scattered historical statues & very intriguing architecture. So peaceful yet eerie from echoing church bells. Wait! Elvis! Eeee! Unique mall. Absolutely lovely place Liverpool--would that I could live there. ❤d video, thanks for a very detailed sharing.

I remember when these were4 just fields YOu could play on the main road, hardly any traffic came along on either side of the road, no buildings whatsoever, only a farm called Dawsons. I am 90, Moreton was a beautiful tiny little village. No comparison to this Town! SAD.

I was stationed in Chester 82-85 and this video reminded me of many pubs that we used to frequent. The Shropshire Arms was one if them. Sad to see that most Pubs these days are Restaurants that also serve beer. My regular was The Cross Foxes. Good work. Thanks. 👍
