Hi Antonio, Thanks for your review of Grandma’s One. I feel like this pizza just missed the mark of top quality. I really enjoy the variety of places that you review. Have a relaxing evening, Peter
This pizza had potential, and yeah, very busy. They did not stop making pies for a single second. I wasn't too disappointed with it, it was just good, but not in the upper tier.
Interesting.I didn't think the place looked too touristy, so I was expecting something maybe a little better. It didn't look terrible. I've never heard of or seen a Fish oven. I'm wondering if that's more of an east coast thing.
FISH ovens are bagel/bread ovens, they're rotating ovens. I see quite a few of them from time to time. I wonder if they're still being manufactured. The pizza was very satisfiable, I just thought the sauce lacked something and the cheese tasted like it needed some salt. The crust as well.
Great review as always. If the sauce is going to be acidic, then the cheese needs to be really rich to balance it out. Seems like this was not the case.
Hey Antonio, thanks for reviewing our place. We hope you will stop by and give us another chance to increase our score! The next visit is on us, and we would love for you to try our #1 Spicy Honey Grandma Slice. Ask for my manager Jr when you come in and we will take care of you! 🍕
I don't know Antonio, those slices looked pretty good to me and your score was probably right on the mark. Anyhow, I would be a terrible pizza judge 'cause if it tastes good, I don't care if it flops a bit or if It's heavy on the sauce. I'm more of a topping lover also, like green peppers, mushrooms, pepperoni and even light or medium on the anchovies. Yum, take care amigo.....
If you wanted more crust you could have asked for the pizza to be well done. That’s on you for not asking the cashier for how you wanted your pizza. The pizzeria is a solid 9/10
Great job Antonio. Thank you 😊
I was in Greenwich Village last night too for the parade. Such great energy there!
My favorite day of the year, it's truly a surreal oddworldly experience. I was mostly around the Macdougal side and along Washington Square Park.
Nice video. Saucy was the perfect description! I miss that city when it was safe on Halloween. It was so much fun!
I like the color it was different looked like a good slice.

Thanks Peter, as always for the feedback. You're right, this could have been an 8 with a litte tweak here and there, they were very busy that night.
The pizza didn't look too bad to me. Cheers, Antonio! 👍👍✌️
It was solid. I thought the crust needed more salt as well as the cheese. Sauce a bit too tart.
A liitle douse of parm and some red pepper flakes would have kicked it up a notch.I'm sure they were busy halloween evening.

The mozzarella wasn't bad, but I hear you. It probably wasn't salted enough or perhaps overpowered by the acidic sauce.

Thanks for the offer! I will absolutely keep that in mind next time I plan to visit the neighborhood.
I think they made it too light thats probably why its not that crispy
Yes perhaps.

Sauce was a bit sour and cheese was a bit bland. But I've had worse.
I love a saucy slice but a really really good slice need nothing one it. I still would eat those slices.
I'd definitely go back for their tri-colored Grandma. I almost ordered some but I had a sandwich earlier.

I think you are to harsh on that one, crunch plays a part but it certainly looks tasty
I agree about the emphasis on crunch but I did say that I thought the sauce was too sour and the cheese was a bit bland.
You go to grandmas pizza and you do not try the grandma…🤔🤔🤔🤔
I heard there was the honey on it. Not a fan of honey on pizza. If I go back I'll ask for no honey.
