I love how 'Peoria' is this nebulous thing that just represents over a 1/3rd of the entirety of Central IL when it comes to, anything. Goodfield IL, which this park is located, is it's own town with it's own little economy and culture. It's very much not Peoria. Just like Morton or Eureka or Pekin are not Peoria, they are nothing alike at all. They are independent towns that have businesses that just get forgotten about, because Peoria.
