Love the bar and the set up. I enjoyed Theakston when I was in the north. Not sure I could knock back as many as you at my age, but I still enjoy the taste.
Great review, can’t wait to try mine. Dont turn your machine off as the beer will go off, just open the doors between pours and the temperature will go up. I’ve a Pro so will try it at 8C, enjoy 🍻
Hi Jimmy This is a great review other than the fact you said Old Perculier is a Stout/Porter and it’s nothing of the type. Old Perculier is a traditional ruby red red/dark ale and nothing at all like a stout/porter. It’s a great old fashioned ale and one Im very happy to see on PD (I’ve had a PD long enough to remember the disappointment of loosing Bass). Again Kudos on the great review. 👍🍺
You are absolutely right. It is a Ruby Red ale. As soon as you mentioned it, it reminded me of the Sarah Hughes Brewery Dark Ruby Red Mild they used to sell in the Beacon Hotel in Sedgley 👍
If it comes out at 3⁰c then it's certainly got the Guinness vibes. But if you can get it around 10⁰c there is a lot more flavour to it. It is certainly worth a punt, you can always buy a bottle of it first 👍
The perfectdraft product is a philips product, and it raises the cost of a draft beer to three times the "normal cost" It's economically moronic to buy one.

Another great review Jimmy as always 👍
Cheers mate, very kind.
I was a bit excited by this one.
Had great fun filming last night but I had a bad head this morning 🤣🤣
Love how much you’re enjoying this. Mine arrives tomorrow and I really hope it’s popular enough for it to stay as a regular.
Just be careful the hangover doesn't get you 🤣🤣👍
Cheers Jimmy
Cheers Mick 👍
Looks awesome man, it's a classic beer I've not tried, will pick it up!
It's a great drink 👍
love these beer reviews keep them coming when you can!
Cheers mate, I've got Adnams Ghost ship, tennents and becks on order 👍
@@JimmyTheMower tennents is lovely on tap interesting to see how it goes, I'm being evermore tempted to order a PD 🤣
@paullynch2890 I used to drink a lot of it in the 90's so I'm really excited to try it at home 👍
Great video Jimmy. Now I am thirsty! :)
Cheers mate, there's always a pint waiting for you in Shropshire 👍

It's a lovely tasting drink and i am happy it's on the Perfect Draft but I can't drink too many of them either....
Absolute cracking beer on the PD 😋
It really is mate. Thanks for watching.
I'm already a subscriber of yours 👍

That's a great tip thank you, will have to try it on the next one though as this one only lasted 2 days 🤣🤣
The Legend I agree, just a perfect beer, glad to see someone else with the froth but as you say just wait and let it settle if you can.
I absolutely loved it. I'm now looking at getting a full hand pump system
🍻 Cheers!
Cheers 👍

I’ll pop round and try one in a couple of weeks
There might be a pint left for your birthday 🎂
👍prefer the Tennants and Mahou on perfect draft-looking forward to them doing a John Smiths Smooth
I love a can of John Smiths. It won't work on the Perfect Draft though because it needs nitrogen the same as Guinness
That’s a good head there Jimmy 👌🤣
🤣🤣🤣😮😊
If I'm being honest mate; it doesn't seem like you're sure if you like it.
Go on, have another. Best to be sure.
It's lovely stuff 🤣🤣🤣👍
😂 he doesn't need any encouragement!
There is a mod you can do to set temp on the original machine
Is there?
Have you got a link to this information please?
When you turn the machine off Jimmy will that effect how long it lasts for?
Once opened they need to be refrigerated really. But it doesn't really matter if you are going to drink it in a few days
I love a Guinness, is it similar mate??

@@JimmyTheMower nice one mate, I think I'll try it! 👊
@G-LFC-85 let me know how you get on. I will be interested to see if they bring out more Ales.
@@JimmyTheMower will do, I'm loving the choice, so many! Normally a lager drinker but do love a Guinness!
@@G-LFC-85 👍
Nice rocket fuel Jimmy.
Yeah, and it's really tasty too 👍
Its a belter
It is mate, a real beauty 👍
Boootiful!
Cheers mate, you should come over for a pint 👍

It costs me about £2.50 a pint which considering my nearest pub is 4 miles away isn't too bad.
I very much miss the social aspect though.
@@JimmyTheMower I'm not comparing the "pub cost". I'm comparing the beer cost.
Yeah it probably does. It does taste a lot better than cans or bottles though
