Yes, please DO share your fountain pens with us! Just like you said, it is YOU and it is absolutely relevant in my opinion. 1. We, your audience, love to see you happy and 2. when you are into art, art supplies, paints etc. how can you resist these beautiful inks and pens you are sharing with us, the pens you just got are pieces of art, you can not only write with them but also draw, which is what I’ve been doing recently ❤ 3. Journaling is good for your mental health, and even though creating art is a beautiful thing we can be affected by self doubts and tough things going on our life, so I view this as self care :) Thanks for doing this, I am in love with fountain pens and thanks to you I also got an amazing selection 🙏 I ramble 😆 Anyway: No guilt! i'm going gaga watching these close ups ;P loving the vodka on ice and i'm with you, not a fan of the black band. i dont drink alcohol so it really reminded me of sparkling water and i'd be on the fence myself :D have fun with your new pens! and thank you for sharing your joy with us!
We are very very similar!! I took a long time to decide yes I'd like this even with the black band and section, but man would it be super cool with a thin silver band and silver or sparkle section! Or even a solid blue/teal!!
Glad you did decide to share; fun to learn more about the whole you :) Fountain pens sparkly and not are connected to creativity. I seem to be a get one and only use it, i.e. my one Midori brown TN; my one fountain pen - Lamy Al Star White/Silver and so on....these are truely mine including scuffs dents stains and all

I journal; really any & all writing goes in - rather messy. Tear things out & paste things in... I do many sketches & watercolor in there too - amazing what tomoe river paper can withstand )
Maggie, I'm really not a sparkly fountain pen (or sparkly anything, really) person, but I can fully appreciate and enjoy sharing your own joy in these pens! I can also endorse them, open-heartedly, because (as I'm sure I've said before!) with your job, things that bring you joy are truly important, and that they also bring down the emotional temperature of your clients is an amazing, wonderful plus! (So anyone who thinks otherwise, watch out! Mrs B's on Maggie's side! 😄) 😊

@@gingerpeachy Yes, it was a hard choice actually because he offered either the original version (like you have) with nougat cap and body, or just nougat body and solid color cap. I just love teal so I went for the second version and I love it so much! But I'm not ruling out one day getting version 1, too! I love this material that much. It's ridiculously cool in person, right?! I wasn't expecting the chonks to be so interesting 🤗❤️

The blue gradient Decimo is the STAs blue special edition, I think it’s still on eBay at a fairly good price! The Pilot gold nibs are my favorite ever (M and B)!

I fell down the rabbit hole of fountain pens a couple of months ago when I finally decided to buy a TWSBI Eco, just for its capacity ... Now I'm saving up for a Visconti Mirage and Diplomat Aero. lol It's even worse than collecting watercolors ...

@@CreatingCuteArt The Aero in striped black really calls to me. (Also I like orange or flamed. 😅) I've also watched some RUclipsrs showing off a version that's only metal without any color application but I didn't look into it if this could be an official/ special version. TBH, the best option would be to have all colors in front of me to truly choose what color I'd like most. (Although, having more than one pen in front of me would probably end in buying more than I should. lol)
