I am convinced that the area of Felstad where you guys are exploring was a giant open square until Owen's wizards came and practiced wall over and over....and over. Great report guys, glad Ash's crew got to catch up a bit.
@@Schalazarro it would complicate things even more... 3 dudes that can group activate, even more abilities to remember, one more character to track experience and level... Plus they are quite expensive!
@@Schalazarro As Horhe Vamp said, a Captain is very expensive. IME, while a Captain might well be worth his initial cost, the ongoing cost of paying for him means that he isn't worth his cost over time. Though they are fun during the game.
I'm playing Diablo 3 while I watch this and I caught when you said you had a barbarian quick and I thought you said you had a "Bavarian" and I can't quit laughing now.
Sometimes when you say Jeeves the zombie CC turns it into Jesus Zombie lmbo. I am loving these battle reports. I want this game and its not too expensive..... Seems easy enough to teach to my players.
Perhaps I'm misunderstanding your game play, but it looks like you think the only way to activate characters along with a Wizard or Apprentice is to Group Activate. To be clear, you don't need to Group Activate to activate multiple characters on an Apprentice or Wizard activation. (This has not changed since the first edition of the rules.) A normal multiple character activation has each activated character finishing his entire turn before the next character begins and this normal multiple character activation can be done by either the Wizard or the Apprentice (or both). This is _not_ a Group Activation. Group Activation is a specific _optional_ way to activate multiple figures that allows and requires you to move everyone, then take a second action for each character. It is useful if you want lots of characters to pile into a fight before the first attacks and perhaps a few other situations, but usually the best choice is normal activation of multiple characters on the Wizard's or Apprentice's activation.

Yeah! Love Frostgrave! Can't wait to try out V2.
One of my favorite games that you play
Love the Frostgrave :) at 59:53 your infantryman is dead, you rolled a 1 on the Infinity dice ;)
You can actually learn as many spells as you have experience and grimoirs for. It is the one level up option that doesn’t have a limit.
It's a joy to watch you guys play. You're such buddies.
The will soon join in glorious coitus 👯♀️

Awesome Game! Very nice.
Brutal. Fun batrep!
Oh man the brutality!!!! Fun game to watch.
Great game (not finished, still watching) but amazing terrain... the big collapsed building especially. Is it a kit bash or purchased as one?
@@Hundmathr thanks!
3d modeler is dutchmogul. He does a ton of great stuff, plus he is making some cool 3d print and play games like pocket tactics...
Excellent! Guys add some Captains to your warbands it will bring a lot of great actions :)

Great vid, and awesome terrain. It does seem 3d printed, might I know where you find such large terrain models?

So GRegyth?
i wish there was a way to play frostgrave online what with not being able to see our friends due to lockdown. they need to make a digital version!
Isn’t it on Tabletop Simulator? I know Rangers is.
It doesn't seem to run great though 😕
@@GuerrillaMiniatureGames tbf I've found a better one now that I've got back and looked, still a little clunky but better than being patient lol
