in my game Vlad died at the werewolf bar because he burned to death and when I randomly looked later to see what happened to his house, Lou moved in. Way to show dominance over the vampires

I would love if Angus becomes a foster parent for stray dogs. As they make more money he can adopt dogs, bring them back to health and find them forever homes. Sort of a Moonwood Collective outreach program to promote a positive view on werewolves!

At this point, I don't think any of us would care if you just used the "Add to Family" cheat on Cupcake.
I can honestly see Angus as a lone wolf, and Nina taking over the world.

Cupcake isn't a stray, that's why there was no "adopt" option. But since the owner is clearly neglectful I think a dognapping (or surprise adoption as I like to call it) is in order.
I'm pretty sure Cupcake is a stray, it just doesn't tell you when you invite the pet over. They need to be found in the world without an invite, otherwise you can't adopt

@@drake713 that doesn’t mean anything though. The game summons dogs and cats to act as stray NPCs in the world and it can choose pets already in a household. It may give them the stray nameplate, but it’s just for show while they are “acting” as a stray. Saw it in my own game when a clearly owned dog I made showed up in the background like that.
@@Galactrix that's so interesting, I didn't know that could happen! I do know that if you invite a stray over, the adopt pet option won't show up. It's been that way since Cats and Dogs came out

To adopt cupcake I think you have to find him roaming around the town, you can't invite him over and do it unless you just add him to the family (which is basically the same and not cheating imo).
I was thinking this too cause the adopt option doesn't really do anything other than add them to your family
You also have to get the relationship up all the way to the top! Yes I've had the same issue trying to invite animals over-- in fact once I invited the animal over I could NEVER adopt.
It also doesn’t say that Cupcake is a stray. Maybe he already has a family?

I honestly would love it if there was a chance the (stronger) sim form werewolf that does the 'nose flick' gains a single + to relationship while the humiliated werewolf gets the double - still. Kind of like the stronger amused adult putting a hand on the misbehaving kids head while the kid is flailing away... To kind of showcase that humor more.

I always fall asleep to your videos because your voice calms me so much, it’s like instant comfort for me. But it’s also annoying because I want to watch the whole thing!

By the time HSY comes out, the game-generated younger sibling should be a teen. They can join the werewolves and it'll be like a throwback to Candle living with his brothers in Mt. Komorebi.
I think because you invited over cupcake it lost it's "stray" status. I'm pretty sure you have to wait until you see them out as a stray in order to adopt them, unless someone else has adopted them already.
Pretty sure you just need to be friends with them. Same as asking a sim to move in
@@missTgalman no it's how "wild pets" behave in this game. Cupcake technically belongs to a household not currently in the world rn, so in a weird way Cupcake has an "owner" despite supposedly being a stray. You can only adopt Cupcake if it has the 'Stray' title on it, honestly you might as well use the add to household cheat just to loosen the hassle

James, if you’re ever thinking about Nina trying to take down Rory and becoming pack leader I would suggest getting to level 10 of the fitness skill. Rory is already level 10 and fitness helps to improve your chances of winning a fight against her.
Angus and Nina are great! Young people full of curiosity to explore how they want to live their lives. Nina having fun intimidating people and Angus rescuing dogs - so fun!
If I'm being honest, this expansion pack seems much more interesting than the highschool one, so personally I'm hoping that you'll keep this series going despite the new pack
Well he did do side by side LPs with cottage living and dream home decorator so there is precedent. And this one does seem really fun.
Tunnels: I was able to learn them all by strategically choosing Follow the fresh air at certain points. Because yo learn a path out, you have to actually take it!
Regain control works best if you activate it right after the fury gauge fills (it sparks). When not in wolf form before they change, you can click. They will still transform but usually transform right back.
You can get the moon petal before you transform. Just be at the lookout around 9-10 pm. It’ll bloom then.
Love how Nina gets empathy from biting Agatha.
I've made friends with Greg and can get him to have normal sim encounters. But he will still randomly attack.
I do like that. Sometimes they make it too easy to get along with Sims. So I love that he still gets mad for no reason.
based on the temperaments and pack the both are in (i think), being in wolf form can increase their fury which is probably why they kept gaining it so quickly during this episode!
The Moschino windows come in a shorter version that has the bottom part tilted open, which would be both cheaper and look closer to the debug shell windows. It would look like they've replaced the glass in the old windows and left them open for fresh air.
If you get the enhanced smell ability, you can use that before scavenging and then dig up where the green stink lines come up on the ground. I usually get a lot of stuff while rampaging bc you can use both abilities. Definitely get way more collectibles that way vs scavenging without
Oh yea if angus and nina having new siblings, might be a good choice to age the sibling up for high school!
I still really want to see a werewolf baby in this series who decides to become a curse breaker... Maybe a Rory/Greg offspring?
If you do the lone wolf aspiration and complete it. You get a trait which makes you not scared of greg. He can/will still attack you, and you have to attempt communication again, but it helps with communicating with him. And easier to fight alphas as well. He is now my sims lover/enemy cause of it.
Also there's a sniffing ability that allows you to smell where to scavenge.
It is hilarious to me that we seem to have the same taste in television because I am EXACTLY as overwhelmed with them as you described. We missed several eps of ms marvel after losing track of all the shows
You can't adopt cupcake now that you invited them over, they aren't marked as a stray once you do that the only way to do it now is to shift click cheat...
Or just wait until you see Cupcake again in the wild, that would work too!
@@vega_highwell no, that only works if you haven't invited them over, once the stray marker is gone it's gone for good

Checking random sims family trees is always a wild ride in this game. In my legacy save I found a fireman who had 28 kids with all over the world. And a suspicious amount of the ladies he had gotten kids with had dead husbands. I managed to track down all the kids and moved them all into a house with this fireman and started a new save with him just raising 28 kids as a single father.
Don't pay the bills, just keep scaring the repo guy lol. It's a good time!

I remember a few years ago, that when you invited a stray over, they ended up getting automatically put into a random household. I don't know if that's still the case, but that might be why "adopt" didn't show up after you became friends with Cupcake.
Just go ahead and shift-click add to family. Angus put in the work, the game is just weird about things. And if you don't want to keep Cupcake in the household, instead of "Putting up for Adoptions," which will make your sims sad, move Cupcake into the Bigwallet family farm household! They need another dog to keep Hagrid company. RIP Fae Fae
I also think it'd be interesting if you moved Janet Caldwell (who Chaz went on a date with) into that household and saw what Sims4 story progression did with that.
Instead of a shower, you can get a fridge for the raw meat. 🍖

During the full moon if you don't have the curse bite ability you're able to turn others into werewolves even though you don't have it
Love Magana, the clones are finally gaining self autonomy and accepting that they are clones and have to move on with their lives and claim identities of their own
I remember being so frustrated when James started building unnecessary big builds, though they looked so cool, without being able to afford the essentials to live, but then I started to enjoy the fun of the struggle. On another note, I like in this pack the fact that werewolfs lose control and you just can't do anything about it.
You can pacify a werewolf anytime during rampage. 😊 Also, if you dont want them to keep breaking things while rampaging, turn off the autonomy so they will not do anything. But thats boring hahaha
I think tbh if you just add cupcake to family then cheat your money down as if you “adopted” them that would count. As you’ve tried enough times and waited for adopt. As I think sometimes when you’re friends with a stray the game then forgets that they are a stray? Xx
I absolutely LOVE the care and attention that went into the various pop-ups for the werewolf books. They're all so fun, even when they're just flavor text and not lore or gameplay-related. (Of course, this makes me want to see the team go back and do the same for other occults -- we need an occult refresh, werewolves raised the bar.) And yes, Cupcake seems to have a lot of puke in their body for such a tiny dog. O.o I think you can only adopt them if you encounter them off-lot wandering in the world, which is -- kind of annoying. *grumbles* But you should be able to save them via that method. And maybe keep them from getting sick for two seconds.
(Oh, and, uh, watch your library lot in bad weather. The lack of a roof, while aesthetically pleasing, means that said bad weather can get in. I just visited in my game with one of my vampires during heavy snowfall, and there was snow on the chess table and whatnot.)

Can you cursed bite dogs at the full moon? One of the books says something about being able to turn dogs into weredogs under certain circumstances.

I would love to see a combined rags to riches with this and the high school pack. Just like you did with paranormal stuff and Snowy escape! I feel like there will not be a lot to go from rags to riches in the high school pack, so it would be nice to see them combined
top tip: you can just ask any random sim to have werewolf sympathy, don't even have to be friends with them. but obviously with vampires its different. 😊

building that warehouse to live in is what i did with my werewolves ! the windows are actually basegame and the rounded ones i used the magic curved edge windows and put in the mt komorebi small windows to make the box texture !
James making every wrong decision with Angus is making me want to scream 🤣 or maybe I was just luckier. My sim regains control very easily. It worked the first three times in a row I'm sure. But I always keep him away from others when he rampages and keep his needs high. Maybe that's a factor?
To be honest, the colors of their wolf form is really confusing to me. I can’t tell who’s who :/
But then again I don’t wanna ask to switch to more noticeable colors since it’s how you want them to look and I feel bad, so maybe give one of them a shirt? Or something little more noticeable?

Because the werewolves pack is still so new, I think it'd be fun to do a vampires vs. werewolves high school LP 😂 and spell casters/mermaids can go to the schools too, but it's primarily those two main groups. Monster teens anyone?

So I think that’s a bug in wellness treats? The dog will be healthy, yet constantly throwing up. It’s happened to me and in a couple recent let’s plays I’ve watched. Try resetting the dog.
I just realized how strange it is that Cupcake was in that area to begin with, strays usually don't appear outside of Brindleton Bay unless the lot has specific traits. I wonder if they changed that with this pack.
There are stray dogs in Moonwood Mill for me, but no other worlds. And I've yet to see a cat.
James please use Reginald for the highschool lp, or use Nina's new baby because when you hovered over the house I think it showed a baby in the household

A video tip is ranking your own builds. Obviously not all of them since you probably have 50+ but perhaps a mix of old and new?

Glutton trait. It will give your Sim a stronger stomach and make it more difficult for them to get sick from eating spoiled food.
A good build is what you need when your at the end of the week and you brain needs to melt a little.

Cupcake can't be adopted at the moment because you invited them to the lot, which means the game no longer has them marked as a 'stray'. You'll have to wait until you find them running around the neighbourhood again. The good news however is that with such an excellent relationship adopting them will be really easy (it's possible as soon as you tip over into 'friends').

Just for the giggles today I opened the Sims 3.
There are so many options to personalise every little detail, that I was on the game 3 hours and didn't play at all.
But there should be a middle point between not customisation in game and an excess of it.

6:45, I think she means "during the full moon, all werewolves gain abilities they wouldn't normally have". The grammar of what order sentence parts should go can be a bit different in American English compared to UK and Aus English. Maybe she means skill gain boosts?
Good episode James. Adopting that dog would be cute. If you need money, just sell the bikes or go to another world to find collectibles. I hope one of your Sims marry one or both of the pack leaders.

I think the dog throwing up like that is a new glitch it also didn’t let me adopt the stray normally despite being full friendship. I had to cheat the dog into my household I took them to the vet came back to the lot and it started vomiting everywhere and would not stop… i removed the dog from my household because it just didn’t work
