Ayato has gotten even better with Dendro. I added him to my Hyperbloom team with Kuki, Dendro MC (Who I replaced with Nahida but you can still use Dendro MC if you don't have her) and Kazuha. I've been able to 3 star all abyss floors ever since Sumeru dropped.
I need him to judge me when I’m opening chests No bt fr I just love his over all design and play style so much. I’ve already farmed enough to get him and his weapon to lvl 80 at least. I missed his last banner, I’m not making that mistake again.
I pulled Ayato on his first banner so i can put him next to Itto. I like to think when im not playing, Itto is just talking Ayato's brains out. Like how a little brother annoys the older brother.
I would say he’s pretty good, first time i got him i regretted and hated him ahahaha xD only pulled him bc Vergil vibes. But then as i played him more and more, slowly i realised how easy and chill he is to play. Not only that he goes VERY well with 4 stars like Kuki bennt xiangling sucrose etc and honestly vape with him is INSANE! So yeah i can say now that I love him my regrets are gone now
I love Ayato and I’m going to get his weapon for him even if it makes more sense for me to get c2 Raiden. I just personally like Ayato way more. That said, I think if someone is newer, and wants an easier time clearing abyss, they should probably get Raiden. It’s just extremely difficult for ANY character to seem more worth it than Raiden, even as someone who doesn’t like her as a character.
Heyy same here. I have a c1 raiden and I could have easily gotten her C2 but I went for ayato and his weapon instead. I was at 63 pity with no guarantee and got him and his weapon too. I had like 72 wishes and had to only use like around 50 wishes because I won the 50-50 on both the banners.
Raiden is difficult to get, in my experienced. I got Rosaria + her complete constellation, it felt like i've been cursed with Rosaria and C4 Sara and finally got Raiden and a bonus Bennette on my last 10pull.
I pulled Ayato purely out of impulse and his design, and I instantly regretted it coz his boss materials were too hard to farm. I didn't touch him for 2 months and then eventually I built him after loosing my 50/50 with Al haitham (atleast I have one husbando lol). And he is seriously soo much fun, I never had this much fun playing with a character ever since Yelan. His talents are only 3-7-7 Yet he does pretty decent dmg with an under levelled weapon too. The only thing I don't like is how vulnerable he is during his E but that is not really an issue coz enemies die pretty quickly. I'm all about having fun and he fulfills that category pretty well
I was lacking a dps in the hydro department, was doubtful on who to pull for Yelan (my yoimiya team would get busted) or Ayato (the more versatile option). And i think I'll go for ayato or atleast make an attempt to cus I'm on a 50/50 -_- Edit: I got c69 sayu and a Batman con 💀💀💀
Ahh I just like Ayato thats why I'll pull for him. His character is wholesome, his burst is beautiful and he's strong and versatile. Raiden I dislike as a character and her purple circle and eye I find annoying when it hangs above. She's the last on my priorities list. No brainer for Ayato tho
I am kinda new F2P player AR49 now (joined at 3.0-3.1), I only managed to pull one 5star - Nahida. I have Kuki for hyperbloom but not yet leveled and I only have Barbara and Candace from Hydro. Should I try to bring Ayato over Raiden, or Raiden anyway is better to build a F2P account?)
Honestly, Raiden is a ridiculously good character. She has a great four star weapon option (the catch) and is good both as a dps and a battery. If you're relatively new and want to clear challenges well I'd choose her. However, damage isn't the only thing that matters in this game! If you like Ayato more, then pull for him! It's certainly not like he's a bad character. It's your account, so it's ultimately your choice.
I have the same issue, also joined in 3.1, also have Nahida, Kuki, Candace and in dire need of hydro applicator, but I'll go for Raiden and wait Xingqiu for my hydro, he will come in lantern festival.
As a C2 ayato haver, i do agree on everything EXCEPT that, Haran is only best in slot on him if you use the echoes of an offering set, if you already have jade cutter or mistsplitter, just stick to HoD or gladiator set

I like his play style and the fact that he works in so many teams, but I don't care for his clothing design. Too much pastel purple and white I guess? The clothing layers look weird too. IDK. Plus I already have Childe, Mona, Xingqiu, Nilou, and Barbara leveled XD So that's quite a lot of Hydro already. If I was going to get another Hydro 5 star (that currently exists) it would probably be Kokomi since she combines Barbara and Mona while also having a lot of off field Hydro. Good luck to anyone wishing for him though.
i love ayato but i love wanderer more, so i pulled for him. i love my team. the others are diona, xingqiu and rosaria. personally i prefer wanderer as a driver because it’s more easier to play for me. faruzan just feel clunky to play… i might go for ayato in the future though!

I feel like having regret Pulling Ayato. He's stucked in level20 and i can't ascend him due the material and requirements that you need to get. You need to do certain quest, unlocked the location so on and so forth. While my Raiden,Bennette,Rosaria,Fischl is in level40, thus my Xiangling in level49 that im so lucky the got in wishes after i had Ayato. So now i can't use him because all the enemy and bosses are on level30 to 40ish and he will be useless to put in the party. He is pretty good and very enjoyable and i can recommend Ayato if you're a fresh account player because it can carry you through AR20 with some caveats but after you pass AR20 he's useless because of the required Items to Ascend him.
Mi have him c4r1 he's one of my favorite character, but no matter what team I try I still feel he's missing something I still hope that maybe we get a dedicated support that makes him feel complete rotation and gameplay wise, or maybe I'm just crazy lol

c2 Raiden is not necessary at all, it is overkill. I have her at c0 with the catch and she clears all content, I know her c2 is strong but I hate how so many people are convincing others to go for her c2 who would not normally pull for cons. Raiden is the "meta" choice, but I use Ayato to clear the abyss a lot more, he has good on and off field hydro aplication and can be a hypercarry, support or sub dps, he may not be the best at every role, but he can fit all those roles well enough to clear content. Pull for whichever you like better, they are both great options.
His new team with dendro is really really good. Something like Ayato/Kuki/Fischl/Any dendro support you have (MC, Nahida, Collei) You can also play national variation (Ayato/Bennett/Xiangling/Anemo support) Or the good old tazer comp with électro subdps & support and anemo support or double Hydro resonnance. If I said something wrong, feel free to tell me !
@@carsonlau3100 I would go with dendro MC since he have a bigger zone from his ult (with hydro) and free C6. But I'm not aware about the difference of dendro application between them, I personally like the easy MC gameplay

I'm so torn. I know that raiden is just a really really good character to have, boosting everyone's damage, but I currently have 3 well built electro characters (fischl, beidou, kuki) and only 1 well built hydro (xingqou). And I really want another hydro for my alt team, so I'm leaning towards ayato, but raiden is just so good to pass up on.

I only pull tall, male characters that I like so I have him since his initial release. Him and Childe are the first ones that I want to C6 (both C0 rn). I also want haran but I am saving for AlHaitham. Ayato is on PJC which i am satisfied with and I just got Polar Star for Childe (my 1st 5star). He is so versatile.
I feel like people who have Ayato don't want others to summon him cause they want him for themselves like possesive type Anyway this is my opinion Caution ur opinion might differ from others
haha. I think I don't care if other people would summon him. genshin is more likely a single player, no pvp, etc. I also don't find him special. But he is fun to used sometimes. I just don't like him during openworld adventure. I prefer mona back then. scara now.

Ayato hold less value than Raiden, but still powercreeped Childe. Mean he's still good. And he's still the BiS Hydro slot in Morgana team with his own quadratic scaling burst, mean he already powercreeped Childe in AoE Ventiable content.

My uid is 606575732 if u wana check it out but my ratio is 71/224 on 4 piece echoes and I have his c1. I also have haran r1 on him, its alright but I havent min maxxed him like too too much but its fine
in vape teams yes, outside of that Ayato is better, anyway there are pretty much neck and neck, Childe has specific comps but he has a comp that works with him and works really well him alone and it's a really strong team for AoE content. Ayato has flexibility but he's not really a place where he shines like childe has Vape and Neuvillette everywhere.

Also another niche option is tf for electro charge and blizzard for freeze teams, tho idk if blizzard is good to match with thr other 4 sets

I only pull tall, male characters that I like so I have him since his initial release. Him and Childe are the first ones that I want to C6 (both C0 rn). I also want haran but I am saving for AlHaitham. Ayato is on PJC which i am satisfied with and I just got Polar Star for Childe (my 1st 5star). He is so versatile.
Have him, builded him and I'm getting c2 Raiden cuz these abyss hp sponges are getting ridiculous.

For me he was worth every primos.....
I think for those who don't have Hydro dps yet. But dendro today is taking over meta that even Kokomi kinda has a reason to pull.

haha. I think I don't care if other people would summon him. genshin is more likely a single player, no pvp, etc. I also don't find him special. But he is fun to used sometimes. I just don't like him during openworld adventure. I prefer mona back then. scara now.

Ayato hold less value than Raiden, but still powercreeped Childe. Mean he's still good.
And he's still the BiS Hydro slot in Morgana team with his own quadratic scaling burst, mean he already powercreeped Childe in AoE Ventiable content.
Ayato is a lazy childe, only good thing is ayato can go freeze team more capable than childe..

@𝙑𝙚𝙧𝙞 yes he wasn't accurate, he didn't mentioned the ways in which ayato is a worthy pull, why you might decide to get him instead of yelan or childe, especially considering that ayato in the En community is severely under appreaciated and misunderstood, so in the context of the EN community even jsut singing his prases wouldbe more "accurate" as people tend to have a bad opinion about him

The only reason I haven’t gotten him is because his play style is boring 😭 but everything else is nice! But man there’s no challenge with him.

in vape teams yes, outside of that Ayato is better, anyway there are pretty much neck and neck, Childe has specific comps but he has a comp that works with him and works really well him alone and it's a really strong team for AoE content. Ayato has flexibility but he's not really a place where he shines like childe has Vape and Neuvillette everywhere.
