Im from turkey and I (we mostly) always drew turkish flag in kindergarden or elementary school. I admired flags back then too and always wondered some flags are too hard to draw so how those kids draw their flags... If watchers read this can you tell me if this was a thing when you were a kid and which country?? It’s like a childhood survey for me :)

Erm, not sure about that because several websites say that it was. Wiki says: It (Colombia) covers an area of 1,141,748 square kilometers (440,831 sq mi) and has a population of around 52 million. Its rich cultural heritage[15]-including language, religion, cuisine, and art-reflects its history as a colony, fusing cultural elements brought by immigration from Europe..." There were several other websites that describe it as a colony and not a province. I will continue to look for evidence. Thanks for your comment.
