Now that I think about it Hades is the Bruno of the Greek pantheon. He’s nice and inoffensive but his reputation precedes him and he’s got an exaggerated reputation.
Which is where I get my pet theory that the god Hades is actually a spinoff of Poseidon after people started using something like "Lord of Hades" when referring to Poseidon in his role as King of the Underworld. Which eventually got mutated into "Lord Hades". I have no idea of this makes any sense in ancient Greek, but I like it.
@@Crazael It is entirely possible, as almost all of the Ancient Greek gods(including Persephone and Demeter) existed in Mycenaean Greece but not Hades. Which is weird as the myth of Persephone descending into the underworld was already being told in that era. Thus, as Red theorized in her Miscellaneous Myth video, Mycenaean Poseidon filled the role that eventually went to Hades, who must have been an off-shoot of him. The stories and Myths(then a living religion) must have changed during the Greek Dark Ages but never written down. So when the Classical period rolled around and Homer had written the Hymn to Demeter, Hades had already been established as Lord of the Underworld and Persephone's husband. Persephone, whatever was her oldest version, must have indeed been a very scary and perhaps even eldritch Goddess.
Ooh! Ooh! I've watched hers too! I bet I can guess this one! Pepa - Ariadne. Can't believe this one took me as long as it did. Felix - Dionysus? Mirabel - Persephone! Bruno - Hades, of course! Dolores pt 1 - Artemis! Isabella pt 1 - Who else but Aphodite. Camilo - Apollo Abuela - Hera Mariano - No one, because he wasn't int his video! Woman 1 - Orpheus Man 1 - Erisikhthon Man 2 - Kronos "Time for Dinner!" - Hestia? I read this thinking the Hades spelled in all caps was referring to the game, but I was *Not* disappointed!
You are a clever person. I was about to criticise referring to Lore Olympus as a source (nothing wrong with it but it's like saying Posiedon doesn't like over fishing because of a scene in the Percy Jackson books) when I remembered the myth of Pshyce, they totally don't get along.
Aww that is so cute. It’s so sweet and I really like it, and even if I get a bit confused I adore the idea and when Kore runs away we hear the warnings all bumbled together and it’s Demeter who keeps sending Kore towards more warnings and at the end it’s a meet cute agh I can’t even 🥹🥹 it’s so beautiful
I know right he does seem like the type of supportive husband, who would like try to spice things up in the story and get a little too ahead of himself, which makes sense I mean he is the god of theater
I love this so freaking much 😭😭- literally it’s almost identical to overly sarcastic and I love the head cannons for them with Persephone being more defiant, Dionysus and Ariadne being lovey dovey… I just love all of it!!!
1. I LOVE Helios' depiction as Camilo. Although we don't see much of him in the OSP Hellenistic Cinematic Universe, he definitely gives off annoying prankster brother energy lol. 2. Also on that scene, i just wanted to point of that "When he calls your name it all fades to black" has really dark connotations (especially with his whole "don't say his name you might get his attention" "One who receives many guests" thing) and i find that really hilarious lol. 😂😂
i feel like appolo is mostly just trolling Persephone with this lol like, he's heard the stories and as god of poetry and stuff he loves the drama of it but his actual opinion is more like ehh i dont particularly care either way

Especially considering how Ares is right fucking there
@@ShinyDarkrai2K Ares is a little dumb and angry but he drink a lot of respectwoman-juice, same can't be Say about Zeus, Appolo or Poseidon
I always wonder how did he get that reputation.
i love that Zeus (god of thunder) puts his hands up like "don't look at me" when the guy/song says, THUNDERRRR, are you telling this story or am I !?
Apollo being Camilo to the surprise of no one as both are definitely the over dramatic theater kids
I love how Demeter is pushing Persephone around like “You see this? This is why you don’t marry Hades!”
Possibly? Although I it was Demeter trying to get her daughter away from her father Cronos for… obvious reasons.
_Artemis looking at the sky which she remembers that tragic incident between her and Orion_
The Madrigals and the Olympians would get along so well when it comes to generational trauma, family feuding, and drama.
eyyy that rhymed
You know, back in Ancient Greece, everyone was so afraid of Hades and Persephone, that nobody dares to say their names.
That makes this song even better 👏

Having Hestia at "Time for dinner!" is perfect
Ooh! Ooh! I've watched hers too! I bet I can guess this one!

Mariano would be Orion
Makes sense because he’s the only man(we know) that Artemis has ever actually loved
I thought Pepa and Felix were Psyche and Cupid
@@Mrdarkblackknight666 Same.
what about Demeter? for 2:50
Oh my god this is so perfect because Persephone actually has beef with Aphrodite
Oh sht you're right I forgot about that
Persephone and Aphrodite in the same video hating on each other is so accurate to the myth.

Good detail of hades being bruno, bruno is a misunderstood guy like Hades!
You’ve really captured Red’s art-style so well!

I absolutely love this vid, gotta say I’ve got respect for anyone who knows their Greek myths

I need more, Oh my gosh I need to see more of your interpretation of their relationship.
Oooh this was so amazing! The OSP artstyle is so cute
I get the same feeling for Moros now since I got this song in my head. It suites the God of Impending doom well.
Actual Hades: stuck in underworld with doggo name "spot" XD
but amazinggg animation!!
This is beyond good. It is so good they didn't even invent a word to describe its perfection.

I think that might have actually been Apollo mate.
Yhea ig. Both Apollo and Helios have annoying sibling energy but i like Helios better cuz Apollo has a bunch of negative connotations attached.
I checked on Google, it's actually Apollo's design 😂. Helios is still a cool interpretation, though.
This is really beautiful!!! ❤️
Thank you so much! :)
Oh god, I love this. I just love how Persephone was all like "oh COME ON!"
This is amazing! ❤️ Everything flowed so smoothly with the song and the artwork is awesome! ❤️❤️
I love this so much!
@Lady of Ways YOU GODDESS AMONGST WOMEN THIS IS A MASTERPIECE
🥹thank you!!!
It would’ve been so much better if you used the “We Don’t Talk About Pluto” parody for just the chorus
How are you so underrated?!
I'll be honest, I thought Hades was Ares at first because of the helmet.
Puppy!
I love this so much!!!
Please more Disney songs with OSP
ok first of all this is beautiful, second i love the little 'Kore?'
It’s funny the song is about a niece looking for her uncle, and Hades is Persephone’s uncle (as disturbing as that is)
Great video.
The views on this video are growing like crazy. Congrats.
Thank you!☺
@@ladyofways No problem. You deserve it too.
Wooow very well done!!!
Good
So great
Awww this is so good!!!
What else can I do but Persephone is Isabela
This is amazing
AAAAAAH I LOVE IT XD
Damn this works so well 😂
awesome!
Can someone tell me what are the names of all these gods with time stamps
Pepa and Felix look like Ariadne and Dionysus and Camilo seems like Hermes?
I think it was actually Apollo who played Camilo
Dolores and Isabella were Artemis and Aphrodite
Could someone tell me which god who? I can't figure it out!
Overly sarcastic productions designs?
Who’s the pepa in this song? I don’t recognize her
Ariadne! Dionysus’s wife
I’m guessing your style is inspired by Overly Sarcastic Productions’ style (please correct me if I wrong!”
No its litteraly an OSP animation

Lol Yup!
Who is Pepa?
Ariadne. She was in a relationship with Perseus, then the jackass left her stranded on an island, where she met Dionysus and got married.
@@maks-tldr56 it was Theseus, but let's be honest all those old greek hero's names are similar.
@@nicetomeetyou3362 righhttt, how did i mess that up?
I think isabela is Aphrodite
You are correct
Okay
Instead of Kronos, maybe Samson
