    Selection 4 is more for automotive. when losening the bolt, it slows down when it stops feeling resistance, and when tightening a bolt , it stops when it starts to impact , so it doesnt over torque a bolt. I have the stubby and love it, great review 👍

      Correct. Not quite sure why he decided to review the tool without first learning how it functions.

    Hmm I’ll put that on my wish list. I like it that it’s more compact. Currently have the Dewalt high torque impact wrench which is a beast as well.

    You guys are too generous. Lets keep paying these things forward we all need guiding lights to keep us on a positive path especially these days. Oh and the name comes from a joke i was told. Death by Bufunga.

      We’ll offer and give as we are able and I agree, let’s keep showing each other and others that we can help one another. Thanks for letting me know about the name. I’ll be shipping the wrench your way next week sometime. I have a 1-2 day project and when I get back I’ll ship it out to you.

    I owned the DeWalt seen here for 1.5 years and sold it to buy the Milwaukee 2962. The Milwaukee is just a better tool in all metrics. Although the DeWalt was powerful enough for most things a mid-torque would be used for, I grew extremely frustrated with the forward/reverse switch placement and (lack of) detents. It was so easy to knock it into the wrong setting when handling the tool that it made using it very annoying.

    That’s a beast for real man that could almost remove up 700ft pounds and nice 3- led lights with a speed bar 1-3 and auto mode! Wow! Wow! But also try the Ryobi hp brushless mid tourqe impact wrench it could in lock up to 650ft pounds ! I think this M18 fuel

  • @richb2229
    @richb2229 2 года назад +2

    You weighed them with different batteries, you should have weighed them bare to get a true difference. The Dewalt had a smaller lighter battery.
    I have the 1/2” Milwaukee mid torque. It’s a little beast, 650 ft pounds of torque does a lot more than most people think.

    Good video, but compare weights with bare tool only. The milwaukee has an 8.0 vs dewalt 4.0 I'm betting the milwaukee is lighter since it's also smaller. You might as well had an 12.0 HO on there.

    Sir I bought a brand new 2962-20 mid torque Milwaukee impact a while back is it normal for the anvil to slide in and outward on the tool you can hear it if you shake the tool back and forward nothing wrong with my tool I’m just curious if that’s normal I think the anvils may be free floating inside the tool I’m not sure

    • @MasteringMayhem
      @MasteringMayhem  3 года назад

      It shouldn’t be sliding in and out. As far as I can remember, I didn’t hear any loose parts on the mid-torque.

    You should really use a mask for the silica in the concrete block. SDS drills kick out a lot of crap right up at you and silica can do some really nasty things to your lungs.

      I’m still looking for a new one. This one is just temporary. I had some copyright claims on the original one. It’s crazy because there were no issues for over 8 months. I got the track from a No Copyright music platform so i was pretty upset when I got that notice twice in a row. I’ll find one that will stick.

  • @FernandoTRA
    @FernandoTRA 3 года назад +1

    Not the right use of the power tool on the expansion anchor. The torque is of course too high. There are charts of the correct torque to use.
    On the other hand, if the idea is breaking stuff, then, yeah...

    • @MasteringMayhem
      @MasteringMayhem  3 года назад +1

      I hear you. It was for breaking stuff in this video. Just wanted to see how it would break open that concrete block. I’m going to get a torque testing set up as soon as I can to really test the torque on these impact wrenches. So much work to do, so many things to implement...I’ll have the equipment to make better videos as I get the funds and the time to put it all together...stay tuned 🙂✌️❤️

      It literally has a symbol of a bolt with an arrow left. It says what it does if you research the manual

    • @tanker242
      @tanker242 2 года назад

      @@weazymholla it's not bolt removal mode though. I'm not sure what the manual says but it's basically mechanic mode. Will remove a bolt at full power until it feels no resistance to the hammer mechanism so you don't throw your bolts across the garage, and it will only hit the hammer a few times once you've run down a bolt/nut which should result in approximately 35 lbs-ft or less of measured torque.
