Bill Wilson is a total stud and role model for American men. Ken's pretty cool too. I shot my first match two weeks ago and I'm shooting my second on Friday. Watching y'alls videos have motivated me to start competing. Thanks Gun Guys!
Such a pleasure to listen and just try absorb as much as I can from 2 absolute legends. Thank you for making this series! I am still in the trade a gun when you want one phase of life but after my kids are done with college, I will own a Wilson combat firearm. #1 on my bucket list. I can't say thank you enough, truly a joy to witness 2 of my heroes having a conversation.
Just bought my first WC - EDC 9X . After years of buying and shooting (a lot) some pretty good 1911’s - Colts, DW’s, etc - I now truly understand the difference between a really good one and a great one.
I would like to know the feelings you both have concerning the .40 cal round. It seems that the "culture" is more interested in the 9mm and even the .45 cal, than the forty. I am a .40 cal and a 357 sig fan and would like to know your combined feelings on both..Thank you!
Much respect. The wrap is Mr Wilson was credited by a multi time champion on a video I listened to during this morning commute. Recently I saw the Wilson brand acquired the Lehiegh bullet technology. Incredible validation for the all copper Personal Defender line. Hat’s off to Mr. Wilson.
Love these series! It’s an opportunity to get to know two Gun guys that I greatly admire, would love to meet, but will most likely never have that chance. I for one, am incredibly grateful that Bill is no longer working on those “Damn Watches”!
Plinking! Yes! I grew up plinking, hunting, no shooting competition. I spent 28yrs in the Army. I was infantry branch. Lots of competing there amongst your peers. I like accurate guns, I like fast vehicles, and I like to, at 62, shooting for a beer a few!. Thanks guys. Thanks for explaining to the young ones. Stay frosty.
Amazing how similar us gun guys are good video men I don't shoot matches any longer either but still shoot weekly collect 1911s and old Mopars joined IDPA years ago A2096
Thanks for the insight. Shoot IPSC and was just commenting the other day that a few years back I shot a major match, had to take two ferries two nights in a hotel for a total of 1 minute and twelve seconds of shooting.
Hi guys. Great show. Bill would you care to share some info on your car collection. I know I'm like you with shooting & wheels. Very interested in both.
Love the channel! Bill can you please do an episode that includes some footage of your hunts? I would love to see your hunting setup and hear why you run the caliber, barrel length, and optic on your setup. Thanks for the videos!
Look at IDPA today and it is following the same direction USPA went. I also drove hours to a match and the goal was to have the shortest time shooting. What made it worthwhile was the other great people you meet.
Hey, Ken and Bill. I was wondering if you guys had any tips for repairing a loose and/or stripped grip bushing on a Lightweight Commander. Love the channel and love the content! Keep up the great work!
Bill, please convince idpa to allow 7-8 shots revolvers, I mean they allowed 15rnds in ssp why not up the level playing field for us wheel gun lover . Great show guys
When one looks at categories, there indeed are shooters, hunters and collectors. Of the shooters, a good many are gamers. IDPA and USPSA are both fun. USPSA over-emphasizes speed. IDPA over-emphasizes accuracy (no one shoots on the move -- afraid of non-A hits).
Was Ken in Delta? Can I get a source for that? A special forces small arms instructor was as close as I could find, and that seems like a civilian instructor for SF
@@gowilsoncombat I stand corrected. Did not mean any disrespect. I actually thought it was for this year. Gullible me. I thought "Man, what a hunter. If only I could hunt that much." Thanks for these wonderful fire-side chats.
My Wilson Combat is probably the best made firearm I own. That said, they quoted me $2100 to mill the slide for a red dot....NOT including the optic or anything other than just a basic milling of the slide. EVERY other well known machinist company and "customizing" company charges between $150 and $245 for a simple milling job. Again, great guns but absolutely zero ethics and integrity. I've always heard but never believed that Bill Wilson is not a very good person, but since he sets the rules at Wilson, it is clear he is an arrogant, self-absorbed price gouger. Sorry, but I'm not going to pay 10 times the reasonable going rate so Wilson can buy more companies or more toys. Truly disappointing that someone I admired turned out to be a hypocritical price-gouging phony. Save the replies that I can shop elsewhere....I'm well aware. Just wanted to share the unprofessionalism of someone many people idolize.
Terrific guns but overpriced. I was happy to pay a little more for the pistol because of their great customer service and warranty policy. However, I too inquired about the cost of slide milling and was shocked that they wanted over $2000 for the exact job I had done for $210....and the quality of work for $210 was terrific. As you said, the arrogance and treating customers as idiots is off the charts. I lost a lot of respect for both Wilson and the company when they quoted me the price. I asked for the quote 3 times since I thought I misunderstood.
I look forward so much to listen to you two gentlemen. Thank you both for your knowledge time and common sense.
Learning and having fun at the same time is something that you can't beat. 👌
Ken and Bill thanks men your two of the best 👍
Isn't it wonderful to find something you never want to stop doing? Good on both of you
Thanks for doing these videos! Retired LEO, firearms instructor, and avid hunter. Brings back a lot of memories.
Well done.
Thank you everything you gentlemen put out grabs my attention!! 👍
Our pleasure!
Always enjoy listening to icons talk about their personal lives. It allows us “commoners” to feel connected.
Love the history and insights. Learn something new every time.
Always good to hear you guys , even if it’s just chewing the fat … specially in these days . Thanks

Thank you for sharing. Very happy with my recent purchase. Beretta G92. Excellent customer service during the process. Mrs. Burke was great.
I've been a fan of both of you Gents since the mid 1970s. Thanks for another very enjoyable video.
Our pleasure!
@Wilson Combat Wow what a couple of proud gay men. The youths must look up to these men in the lgbtq community. Give them regards.
Another good video
Just a well of information from you two legends thanks for sharing

Nice video I like learning about this type of stuff

Thanks for sharing moments of your lives with us.
More to come!
Funny to hear them talk about IDPA. Most of the equipment rule changes in the past couple years have swung it back toward what USPSA does.
Amazing how similar us gun guys are good video men I don't shoot matches any longer either but still shoot weekly collect 1911s and old Mopars joined IDPA years ago A2096
That was wonderful. Thanks gentlemen.
Our pleasure!
Thank you for sharing your experiences and expertise .
No worries!
Thank you for sharing gentlemen. It’s always a treat to watch a video featuring two distinguished firearms icons. S/F Adam

Fun one. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
Bill was always good to me👍
@Mr_Wilsoncombat. I'm here, thank you!👍

Love the videos! Would be interested to see a garage tour

Great show as always. Thank you both for the videos!
Thanks for watching!
That was good guys !
Always enjoy thank you 😊
Our pleasure!
Yes they deserve thanks. What a couple of proud gay men. The youths must look up to these men in the lgbtq community.
Would like to know Bills Favorite Mopar muscle car.
Look at IDPA today and it is following the same direction USPA went. I also drove hours to a match and the goal was to have the shortest time shooting. What made it worthwhile was the other great people you meet.
Still waiting for that WC 10mm - the last frontier.
Wilson Combat, do a episode on Bills car collection! Most guns folks are car guys...and vise versa
Hey, Ken and Bill. I was wondering if you guys had any tips for repairing a loose and/or stripped grip bushing on a Lightweight Commander. Love the channel and love the content! Keep up the great work!
Hell Yeah , beer targets are both delicious and refreshing.
I believe you should have an Old Guy IDPA match for about a dozen of your old friends just for fun and bragging rights. Make sure you record it 😁
How about shooting bowling pins! Love the history you guys have to share here.
Bill, please convince idpa to allow 7-8 shots revolvers, I mean they allowed 15rnds in ssp why not up the level playing field for us wheel gun lover .
Great show guys
Thank you gentlemen for the great content.
Is there a chance that Mr. Wilson will offer Colt Python gunsmithing?
lets here more about the car collection guys
Cool deal guys
I'd be interested to know since Bill is a trained watch maker if he has any interest in watches.

Now let's hear those same questions answered by Ken.
WOOOOPPPPEEEEE!!! F1 23 starts this month!!!!
I could be BFF's with either one of them.
Great ameraican success story. Living the dream
Ken is a Delta Force Plank-holder and a tremendous shot
Was Ken in Delta? Can I get a source for that? A special forces small arms instructor was as close as I could find, and that seems like a civilian instructor for SF
Nope. Not true
long range shooting is sometimes it is the Indian not the arrow.row.
Algorithm
261 hogs in 2 weeks!!!!!
Haha, no we filmed it last year.

Plinking no value. No Plinking, you won't be respected by Ken.
Did Ken actually say "hey, get off my lawn?"
