Check out my everyday carry! ruclips.net/video/L3KDOnRn8ac/видео.html The Wera from that video is currently replaced by the PB Swiss in this video to see how I like it long term and everyday! We will do a comparison video after some heavy use.
You're so right about the Wera wobble. It doesn't really affect performance, but it doesn't feel right... Interested to see how the PB Swiss works out for you,
I’ve never used Wera Impactor bits for my impacts , I just use Bog Standard , readily replaceable , Milwaukee bits ( the DeWalt ones I’ve tried didn’t stand up too well ) .
I saw this video because it focused on ratcheting screwdrivers. I am in market for good to excellent quality and these look like they may we'll work. Especially love the stubby...thanks for the review
I have the stubby ratcheting, unbelievable good tool. The other tools I own are screw drivers, electrical and general use and a set of bits. PB Swiss makes the other brands seem like the tools that come in a child's tool box. I love mine.
I've bought some of their striking tools & driver bits & they are top notch & have stood up to a lot of abuse. Also have some Wera stuff & have no complaints with their stuff either.
Just got my hands on some of these Swiss tools & WOW! Man these tools sure do have a superior feel to them. Similar to the way it felt when I finally received my first snap-on tools 🇺🇸
Haha I love how excited you get about new tools. You’re like me…my wife’s gonna kill me if I buy any more tools this month 😂 watching your videos buying tools online all day haha.
RUclips is the second stage of enjoying tools too much… pretty soon you drive your family crazy if you don’t find a way to talk about them to other people 😜 watch out! It’ll come get you too 😆
One PB driver is the PB 169 V01 ( double ended micro flat and Phillips drivers ) , in pen like pocket driver . Very handy for eyeglass and other precise repairs , plus adjusting pots on PC boards , and other precision applications . Mine( ex Tool Lady) , is always in my shirt pocket !
I use all PB swiss screw drivers, precision screw drivers, hex keys, punches, and bits daily at work building 3d printers and I have fastened well over 20,000 (my calculations about 8 months ago) stainless 3mm screws. Bit is still flawless, (I posted pics in r/tools a while back) everything has been Supreme quality and the only wear to speak of is the white pb swiss serial number on the grip of my bit holding driver. I kind of like that it is cost prohibitive and people do not know about them. I enjoy watching people discover wiha tools/screwdrivers and seeing them think that is top quality lol They do not know what else is out there and that's fine with me.
That’s a very good summary right there of these tools I think. Most people will never try them due to the high cost entry barrier but wow… they’re incredible. I placed another order last night for a bunch more things 😅
The PB Swiss metric allen keys are very popular with mountain bike pro race mechanics, probably in road bike racing as well. Them and a set of Park Tool T-handle allen keys...
Just placed an order and included most of the ratcheting options. Like having different options for handle length. Cannot wait until my order arrives. Good sale right now in US for Thanksgiving at Tool Lady. My wallet does not thank you.
For working on my rifles (older models, mostly slotted screws) I bought a set of their flathead screwdrivers, they have a parallel design, which is way better, more secure then the regular conical design you find anywhere else. Since I use these I have no more damaged slotted screws.Just one drawback is their limited distribution, you don't have a lot of stores carrying them, and as you mentioned looking at a picture is not the same as being able to compare straight away. I only have experience with Facom for screwdrivers and PB is just at different level, I've no experience (yet) with Wiha or Wera
this is spot on. the flathead design is special. i know only one other brand that uses or used the same parallel desgin. walter schröder (i guess they don't sell anymore to private customers) flat heads only buy pb or schröders (which are also old connex if its marked made in germany) on german ebay. BUT i wouldn't buy any other hex keys than wera. the hex plus is by far the best system. no idea how easy it is for you us guys to get garant hoffmann stuff but they sell pb swiss tools in garant hoffmann navy/orange its the same tools just a bit cheaper. atleast for us germans. oh and yes pb's magnets are the strongest.
Love PB Swiss. Do you do any micro electronics work? Check out their ESD precision drivers with the turnable cap. Smoothest action I've felt on one of those turnable caps, makes the Wiha ones feel cheap by comparison. The grip material (same as the drivers you showed today) also give really excellent, precise control.
The PB Swiss looks really nice. I was looking into getting the wera but ended up ordering the Facom as I wanted a ratchet that held bits. The Facom comes with an additional holder for bits that doubles up as a stubby driver
I've had the longer ratcheting driver for about 4 or 5 years now. Its my go-to screwdriver and has held up very well. The only issue that I have is that the ten bits included were mostly not that useful for me. As I recall there was only one number 2 Phillips and two straight blades. A lot of torx(not so useful for me), a few squares (again not too useful) and a #2 posidrive that i get mixed up with the Phillips quite often. My wera has more useful bits, in that it includes a variety of Phillips sizes. Maybe nit picking. But I use the tool with other company bits when I need something thats not in the handle. Its that good. Enjoy and thanks for the video
Absolutely depends on what you do with it. I ordered a handful more bits with it that I use when I bought it and just built my own setup out in it. 10 bits is a nice range in a driver
I got the non ratcheting stubby around 8 Month ago and love it. Was thinking about the big ratcheting screwdriver too, but I just dont like the bit storage design for quick access.
It took about a week to get used to id say. It’s holding up great so far though and the extra few bits have been really handy when I’m a long way from the truck. It’s definitely different from the normal Wera style bit magazine. The ratcheting stubby is a lot more similar if you like that design better Happy New Year!!
You got it! I’m waiting on a few items to arrive from Switzerland and I should have another video to put together. It’s been taking several months on these ones unfortunately 😅
Very informative review! I have a question about the PB Swiss magnet. Is it stronger than the magnet of the Bi-Torsion bit holder that comes with Wera 2021 advent calendar? Thanks!
No toolbox in switzerland without pb swiss tools screwdrivers. love the smell of the screwdrivers. they are indestructible, have often used them as chisels or hoists... shame on me ;)
how does the handle feel since there is a pop out that holds all the bits on that swiss? i’m thinking of getting that and the long Wera but i keep thinking i have to be super careful when tightening screws with handles that have the bit holders within them, and worry that i’ll twist them apart with too much torque. are they super sturdy and solid feeling still even though they have bit holders?
I don’t have any of that feel with the Pb. There’s no flex in it that I can tell. Way stronger feel than the Wera for certain. It’s a heavy duty driver.
@Hand Tool Reviews I disagree. Mostly because I carry this driver on me and I’m not going to carry a bit box along with the driver in my pocket. That’s a massive inconvenience and can end up having one missing when you need it. I like an all on one tool setup for my pocket driver.
@Hand Tool Reviews the fact remains I don’t want to carry separate bits. If I was forced to then I’d go with the Wera ratcheting bitholder instead since it’s even lighter than the Pb and still carries bits. I’m not carrying a pocket driver and a bit set in my pants pocket separately. I’m glad that it works for you but 100% will not for me.
@@MillisConstruction She’s very nice to deal with ! Warning , don’t order any of the Ti. Screwdriver ( used in situations where magnetism is a no no , or harsh chemicals are an issue . PB has a division caller Operace ( they make surgical instruments ) .
I’m really thinking about Wera Impaktor bits. Have you used any of those? I currently just use Dewalt for impact bits and I picked up a set of Wiha ones today at Lowe’s.
What is this that's not a wera, who are you and where is the real millis construction. I do feel a little though that the ratcheting stubby isn't very stubby, but your right wera is severely lacking a ratchet stubby

Love that paper wrapping!! The person that invests in a fine tool would naturally expect the unboxing to be part of the purchasing experience.
It definitely is! I’ve been using these for a couple weeks now and I’m a bit addicted 😅
This is because the items are packaged by the wholesaler. The wholesaler receives the tools in a bulk pack.
I have the stubby ratcheting, unbelievable good tool. The other tools I own are screw drivers, electrical and general use and a set of bits. PB Swiss makes the other brands seem like the tools that come in a child's tool box. I love mine.
I have an insider handle with bits. Sits in my pocket and gets used everyday!! good quality product!!!
That intro was great ........ YES I have, with that driver in my first PB Swiss order from the Tool Lady.
I've bought some of their striking tools & driver bits & they are top notch & have stood up to a lot of abuse. Also have some Wera stuff & have no complaints with their stuff either.

As soon as you pick them up you can see and feel what you paid for. I love that in a tool!

Just bought a bunch of PB Swiss items, man it sets you back in the pocketbook lol. Anxiously waiting them to arrive 😀
You won’t be disappointed in those for sure. I have another big order that’s all back ordered at the moment too 😅
Where did you get yours from?
@rickydavis1051 I just did the same thing 😂
PB Swiss are my favorite screwdrivers. Hands down
I can see why 😁
Just ordered one I’m confident from my research this is the best screwdriver in the world as of 2022.
I would say you are correct 😁
@@MillisConstruction I now have it in my hand literally right now and I’m absolutely certain this is the best screwdriver in the world.
The grips are amazing, however the blades are quite brittle, broke already two of them…

Great review , I like PB Swees Tools🤝👍
The Plastic should smell like vanilla right out of the box. They even think about how their product smells. Realy love Pb-Swiss
The wrapping paper really surprised me. No plastic waste is pretty neat and no needing the jaws of life to open anything 😅
@@MillisConstruction The Tool Lady is pure class ! PB makes some of the best torque drivers out there , also superb deadblow hammers !
@@chrisfyfe9212 I almost ordered a hammer. I have a Halder mallet coming that I’m looking forward too also
They only put the vanilla scent on the classic acetate handle screwdrivers and picks
Smells more like old chapstick. But still kind of an interesting feature.
Haha… 🤣😂. … Swiss Screwdriver 45$, Set of PB Swiss Allen Keys… 75$…. Satisfied Smile 😃 … Priceless!!

I got the PB Swiss ratchet driver without the integrated bit storage (so that won’t break), and yes, the quality is “buy it for life” grade.

Thanks!
I will test that and see, I didn’t see that set on my calendar tool roll so I think it’s on my truck. I’ll try to get it out this weekend and see
@Hand Tool Reviews I don’t think so… possibly between those exact two but overall PB magnets are much better than Wera

Can’t find the pb swiss insider ratchet anywhere
Anyone have any idea where we can get PB swiss in Canada? Import fees aren't looking so good 😱
You need to try the PB Swiss knurled hex key set. They are in their own league.
Yes I do!
You are so right I have a set and they are fantastic

Do a tool review of the wiha speede 2!!!
I’ve gotten very close to buying that several times! I need to just do it 😅
One Caveat , their 1/4” hex bits are not impact rated , AFIK ! PB’s bits are a long term item , impact bits are basically a consumable item .

Tool porn. I have lots of PB Swiss. The most cool stuff is their bits.
Is it were Vera
a $10 screwdriver would be enough for my helicopter
I think if I had a helicopter I hope I’m rich enough to not need to own a screwdriver lol
Ratcheting screwdrivers & I don't get along, I haven't met one that I can't break 😔
These PB Swiss have a lifetime unlimited warranty. Might be just the ticket 😁
