The #CoxysSecurefastChallenge (pass around lock), is for those persons interested in this challenge to find the lock’s entry code, and then to share and pass on the lock to others. There are rules for how CoxysPicks challenge lock can be passed on, and to whom below.
RULES:
1 To be passed on to others with RUclips channels active in the locksport community.
2 Once decoded, to change the code as shown in Coxys video “Securefast Combination Lock - Pass Around Instructions”. Write the code down and put it in an envelope for the next person.
3 You have two weeks from the time this lock arrives, to decode and share this lock, or pass it on.
3 Use the hashtag #CoxysSecurefastChallenge when posting your video, so these are easier for CoxysPicks and everyone else to find.
4 Name the next person you want to send out this lock to in your video. A book has been been enclosed with his lock, so it can show where and whom it has been to, along with how they did.
5 Send out the lock via tracked post, so it shouldn’t get lost in the postal system.
6 Lastly, just have fun decoding the lock!! 😊

Thanks. Yep, I plan to. Funnily enough, I found a discarded master combo padlock yesterday. Managed to get an open too 😎👍🏻
You are correct buddy - its a standard lock, no tricks. But it's a great demonstration of binding order. The method you use discovers the binding order of the lock. If you press X first (using your code) the lock will bind in a differnt way and feel very different 👍

I do the tension thing on multi-wheel (disk) chain motorcycle locks as well.
As far as combos go,Ive got 5 Masters that Ive cracked...2 are typical Master locks and 3 are Master wall locker built in locks . Slaymakers...just take a good smack with the side of your fist to pop tgem,LOL.
