  • This new Arrone digital push button lock for doors decoded. A previous video (040) shows how to decode a well used Arrone digital push button lock like this. The technique we find here works opposite to that in video 040.
Please do not use these locks for high security. Do not use them on exterior doors.
    (039) Ever wondered how a digital push button lock works.

I’ve always wondered how those combo locks are decoded, great info mate.

Strange how in an earlier video a well used one of these locks decodes very differently and I have no idea why.

So is this "flaw" in only mechanical keyless door locks? I wouldn't wanna be using these anywhere other than inside the house. Are the battery operated ones more secure?

You cannot decode the electronic ones (battery or mains) this way.

      Practice, practice, practice
You have to practice to get a feel for it. New and old types of push button locks feel different and use a slightly different method.

Should do it with them all. It takes practice. I have no idea why but new and used ones bypass differently. That's what I have found

I've seen people sitting in the waiting areas at an hospital videoing staff going in to certain doors with these types of locks on, god knows what's on the other side but the security of these types of locks needs to be redressed I would say ;-)

It's crazy how these are relied on. It isn't difficult to observe someone punching in the code. Decoding isn't that hard too, it just takes a bit of time to get the feel and tension.
