I live in Sweden but I was in the US as a foreign exchange student 79-80, I bought a Benge 3x there that was fantastic !!! I don't have it any more and I really miss it ....... 😔🎺
Thanks for sharing! A good Benge is a wonderful thing. :) I just got an Adams A5; it similar to my Benge, but bigger. Bigger bell, bigger sound. Hopefully not too big. Vid coming soon! :)
It all comes down to money with me, Jon. But this is one of the best fits I've ever had; so easy to fill, and I do like the tone. :) I'd like to keep it, we'll have to see. :)
I think it's a keeper for me. It's the smallest bell I have of all my horns. Feels similar to my Getzen 900 Classic, but it's just easier for me to fill this bell, to play it quiet... It's a really good fit for me. Anyone can have it...But they'll have to kill me first. At least that's my feeling this month. :)
I agree! I've never heard you sound so good! I'm so happy because that's the first pro horn I ever owned! It's so light and bright sounding...yet without sounding tinny!
I do believe I've heard that Albert played a Benge, at least at some point in his career. I was playing one of his Tijauna Brass songs a couple days ago, in fact... Fun music. :)

Enjoyed the tracks and the review! The horn really seems to suite you! So, it is a keeper?!

Jonathan I was told when I bought that horn that it was a 3X not just a 3.
Well, the bell says it's a 3 but most people seem to enjoy calling it the 3x. Maybe its 2 horns in one... :)
Jonathan. Seriously you have to keep that horn. It does seem to fit you. Sounds really smooth and clean. Also love the new venue.
