Nice video! Thanks for including torque specs too. Not a big deal, but did the transmission mount transfer a lot of vibration to the cabin like motor mounts do?
@@tunertee9801 i seriously don't know why you stopped making videos with such awesome car. You are one of the few sti guys (maybe the only one) who's making straight to the point content and not begging for likes and subs with stupid giveaways for 10 minutes straight. Sorry for the rant. You did say once people were hating on your content, fuck'em . some people just go around disliking and comment stupid stuff they can't help them selves.
@@scoob4295 I've tried letting out slower, letting out faster, taking off with lower RPMs, and taking off with higher RPMs (around 2600). The shaking persists but isnt consistent. The dealership was able to replicate it but not 100% of the time. Im waiting till the Rona blows over so I can get money to have it diagnosed and fixed at the dealer.
do you think these mounts would go great with a 420-450 ftlb tq subi? i have started my research today and this is like the 3rd video with torque solutions products. thinking about doing mounts trans brace and pitch kit.. lol any input?
Moza mine is at 415ft.lbs. Be ready for a real rough ride. Just a warning. You hear and feel everything with solid mounts. If I could do it all again I wouldn’t go solid but a real dense material with a bit of dampening properties. I hear good things about group n stuff.
@@tunertee9801 ill look into it haha i dont daily my car. friday nights saturdays and sundays. then its put back away. more of a back road and car show type of bugeye.
Moza awesome. Great questions and answers. Hope more 400-450wtq people see this. Weekend warrior STi here as well, I’m going w/ this mount and the Cusco engine mounts. Already have kartboy pitchmoint and TiC Unabomber sexy rearend. Stiffen all the mounts!
Tyler Humphrey shifter feels extra solid. I have done the bushings and short shifter (kartboy) and this gives it even a more solid feel. You get used to it quick tho. This compliments my pitchstop and engine mounts.
Tuner Tee is the pitchstop really worth it? Because it does compromise the crash safety features of the vehicle... oem one designed to break i believe, so the engine drops
Thank you for the clear install video without talking or rambling. Good guide, all the specs, I wish more people did this
Thumbs up for a well put together tutorial. I have got to get me those quick jacks; it will make car work so easy.

Great install vid. Love the wheels!!
Question, did you really need to remove the exhaust heat shield?
Thank you! Great video!

BornWithFame Quickjack
Why is the underside of your car so oily?
It's called underbody spray. Its to prevent rust if you live and drive in salty winter conditions.
How’s the feel is there that big of a difference

Tuner Tee do you have the torque solution motor mounts as well?
Yes. But the pitchstop is Perrin.

Haha nvm looking at your vids i realise you're way past crash test features
