I can relate to that. One time, I was on a church outing traveling to a conference. It was just a day trip & we had various things we would be doing once we got to the conference. I was going to be speaking..so we were all dressed in our good clothes. our bus did not have an emergency restroom in it. all of the sudden, I felt the runs coming on. I let the organizer know I needed to stop to use a restroom. She said "I'll try to have the driver find a place to stop so that you don't miss in your clothes!" All of the sudden, I realized I was not going to be able to hold it so I was sitting there kind of whining & crying saying "No, No, not in my clothes. I can't have this happen!" I had to go no. 2 so bad that it caused me to have to pee also so my accident started out with me peeing my pants then I messed my clothes. then the trip organizer came "Tammy" came back & was going to let me know they would be stopping so I could use the restroom. the woman who had been sitting next to me & was now in a vacant seat said "Oh, it's too late! he had an accident. " She still stopped to talk to me though. She said "I'm sorry that happened, I was worried about that! What does a person do for clothes? we think about kids having an accident but we don't expect it to happen to us & of course we are not prepared for it, it's the last thing we would think about happening!"
Oh wow! Thank you so much for sharing your story with me! I literally have so many of these stories. A lot of people do but they are mostly embarrassed to talk about it. Thank you for being brave with me! Others that struggle with this will find strength in your story. I’m in remission right now but when I’m not I pack for myself like I’m packing for an infant everywhere I go!🩷
I have had this horrible disease for 20 years and no end in site. This is the worst flare to date, I've had and pooping in the pants, I totally understand!!!! I've been to gastro doctors, in and out of the hospital, colonoscopy, all to no avail. This disease has given me blood clots one time, and I mean the traveling kind, so yeah, hospital visit for sure, right then, I get anemia from it, I've taken all type of pills for it, all of this doesn't help! It's a case of dang if ya do, dang if ya don't and u never know what to eat, what not to eat, some things I know for sure what not to eat, it's nutz lol I have gone back this far to check out your video's in hopes that perhaps, I might find some more answers about how you're dealing with UC. Thanks for sharing!
I use 3 cookbooks. The anti-inflammatory diet for beginners, against all grain, and every last bite. I rotate between the 3 so I never run out of meals. These books are game changers for me. I cut out dairy and limit sugars. I do drink kefir everyday for my gut but it doesn’t bother me cause the lactose is killed in the fermentation process. I have videos on here about marshmallow root and slippery elm. I have a series of videos on tiktok but I’ve been slow to post to RUclips. I will post one a day starting tomorrow for you😂 make sure you’re subscribed so you get the notifications❤️❤️❤️
@@ashleytrusso8866 yea at the time it was, but it also showed her in a way, how I dealt with stomach issues. Like so many. It wasn't so bad afterwards, she got used to it
You're not alone, Ashley. That reminds me, when I peed my pants in front of my best friend. It happend in the car of his parents. 🙈 embarrassing feeling 😑

So you sat in the car in your pants full of poop? 😂 I bet that wasn't the best feeling
I sure did! 😂 nothing else to do. Had a major clean up job when I got home.
