The turtle and coaster look great. I think cause you filled with the shells that took up space, you didn't need as much resin .
Oh I can't wait to demold my turtle!!
It’s the rocks that took up the space.
Omg,I love that turtle x
You were talking directly to me. I have bought lots of molds and a few gallons of different resins but haven't made anything myself. My daughter's have made some pendants. I've been really sick for several months so I'm anxious to get started. I'm having so much fun watching you though. ❤❤❤
Maybe starting out with all those supplies will help you recover and get your mind focused elsewhere. It’s very therapeutic!
I've had success using resin tape to section spaces off like the turtle head.
Thanks for the tip!! 😀
The turtle is amazing. I just ordered the shells. But I think glass eyes would look really cute. You always do amazing projects
Thank you 😊
Love those abalone shells there gorgeous !!!
I love your turtle, I think that the shell that you added took up a lot of your resin space
After the fact the turtle only held 10 oz 🤦♀️🤦♀️
I love the turtle!!
Absolutely stunning turtle love the abalone shells the original resin you mixed for shells plus all shells took up a lot of space thats why you had so much left over BUT after saying that we lucked out big time with all the extras so win win great tutorial 🤗🤗🤗
It actually holds 10 oz of resin 🤦♀️ I learned to always measure with water first on that one 😁
The shell colors are gorgeous 😊
Absolutely beautiful.
I am in love with your turtle!
Very pretty! The shell dish is a nice accident.
So so beautiful, I love this colors 💙🩵💚
Lovely
Cool turtle. 🐢💚💙💚 the shells. Such a pretty piece. The coaster looks great too. Probably the shell portion took more of the room the resin would have in total? Great tutorial. 🥰
Yes I always forget about he room my “stuff” takes. Later I saw that Let’s Resin stated the turtle hold approximately 10 oz. 🤦♀️
Beautiful!! Love the colors in the turtle 💙 and coaster
Thank you 🤗
Gorgeous, turtle is fab .... ❤
its pretty, I actually made the turtle a few days ago, it came out nice. love the rocks you put into it. thanks for sharing
Love those shell pieces, maybe some in the flippers too.
Looking back at the beginning of the video, the shells definitely take up a lot of volume, so you wouldnt need as much resin. Oh well. At least you learned something, right? Plus, its a beautiful turtle 🐢!
I measured later and it only holds 10 oz 🤦♀️
Absolutely beautiful
Very cute turtle 🐢 mold, love the colorful abalone shell pieces. ❤
WOW! Amazing! Love it! Thank you
Love the turtle.
I luv him ❤
I love this turtle! I just rec'd the mold myself and was looking for some ideas. I'm in Mobile, AL and it is Mardi Gras time! I just have to have these mardi gras rocks. Thank you for your video. I also measured with water and then saw the 13 oz and figured I must have measured the water wrong lol. If I remember it was about 11 oz of water, I'm sure the rocks took up some space as well. I will remeasure before I mix my resin. I love the coaster and the shell, I have those molds too!
Definitely re measure!!! Lol
You are one of my favorite people to watch on You Tube...like Pouring Your Heart Out and many others have really helped me learn these crafts. Thanks for your time and sharing your art
Wow, thank you!☺️
He’s gorgeous Michelle ❤
Wow very beautiful Michelle I love everything❤❤❤❤❤

These look great , just found your channel so I think I will be binge watching lol ❤
Yay! Thank you! 🥰
I so enjoy your videos.
Thanks 🤗
Wow Michelle! That abalone is fabulous. That blue color you like is soooo gorgeous. Wonder if Amazon has smaller bags of shell pieces? Will check soon.
Pretty blue for heart pendaants also. Great job Linda in Colorado Springs
I think Hobby Lobby or Michaels actually has that in smaller bags too.
I've got to tell you, I really enjoy watching and learning from your You Tube videos. The explanation of what & how you do your resin crafting is inspirational. It makes want to expand my resin crafting. Thank you so much and keep the videos coming!
Wow, thank you! ☺️
the turtle and coaster turned out so awesome! I love those shells, thanks for sharing got them in my cart now. 😁 I made a lizard that I used up all my over pour resin chips that I cut up into pieces kinda turned out like the shells. I will post it on the group.
It looks amazing I saw it on FB!
@@glitznglitterbymichelle1 thank you. 😊
I love it. He is cute ❤
I am new to your channel love the turtle that is what attracted me to watch also love the shell great pour
Thanks and welcome, go thru the channel I hope you enjoy others as well! ☺️
Beautiful they both look great
I was watching a stone coat table top tutorial as well as a mid evil resin pour in both the guys used black resin paste to add to the darker ocean water. I am going to try my clip board beach pour and will post it for you to see.
That sounds interesting!
They'd be so pretty displayed on little accent tables
I found that if I entered just "alcohol ink teal", without any reference to resin, a number of brands came up with larger bottles of just teal.
Nice to know!! Thanks!
These are beautiful
Fabulous Michelle and I love the turtles head being two toned ❤❤
Hi Michelle , Cheryl here i was watching you do the turtles and i think there wasn’t that much room in the mold case of the things you put in it too. I think that might be the problem 😢😅ok i see you made another shall i love the turtle .
Absolutely gorgeous!
❤
❤
❤
Thank you! 😊
I love the extras you got to make. Turtle is BEAUTIFUL
Wow! Those abalone shells are gorgeous ❤. The turtle is very pretty and I love the coaster and conch shell. ❤ I like the silver trimming. ❤
Can you make a video of squeezing jdiction resin and allowing the bottle to make noises as the last bit is squeezed out. Some people would like to see that as it would make the videos more interesting. Great videos and thumbs up
I don’t use JDiction 🫤
Goregous michelle 🐢🐢
Everything is just gorgeous
Thanks ☺️
Wow! 😍 What a gorgeous turtle and coaster! I love the colors! 🩵💜💚
Oh wow Michelle you really knocked it out of the park this time. As you know I am obsessed with blue and I am a big fan of abolone shells. The turtle and coaster are spectacular. ❤😊❤
Thanks ☺️
Beautiful
Love it
Your turtle is amazing love those crushed shells in it.❤️❤️❤️😊😊😊🐾🐾🐾🐕🐕🐕
Love the the colors
I'm waiting now for my turtle to cure. It's my first time so I just stuck to basic color and I can tell already that I need to go deeper with color next time
We all learn something on every project it seems 😑
Love them
Love your turtle design and the matching coaster (very pretty silver edges too) and shell! The stones are fantastic!
Thanks so much! 🤗
Beautiful.❤
Love it ❤
Beautiful turtle/coaster love the colourful shells my fav colours will be getting some! Thanks Michelle ❤
I’m just now doing him too
Very pretty❤
Thank you! 😊
Looks great
I love it very pretty
I love the turtle. Those abalone shells make it. All my favorite colors!
They are gorgeous. I love the turtle the best. I cross with the bubbles, I take my Drexel on a very low speed and smooth them out. I then do a silver or gold trim to blend them in.
What size shells to order
I love everything but the turtle was first class gorgeous ❤❤❤❤ xxxx
Awww thank you ☺️
I love it
I love your tutorials! I love bright multi colors like this, so both are So Beautiful to me! I see the lines in the shell of the turtle, just like a real turtle. Maybe your next one, you could mica powder those lines to make them stand out?
Yep for sure!
Oh I loooove this!! Just an fyi, I looked for the shells. That colour is sold out on Amazon in the US. I looked on Amazon Canada… $107!! Third party sellers on Amazon love to gouge us out of country people lol Guess I won’t be getting them.
This is so stunning! I especially love the coaster because the colours look deeper. ❤️
Keep checking back or I think they can notify you when they are back. They took weeks to get to me, so long i totally forgot I ordered them 🤦♀️ they weren’t in a normal Amazon box either. A third party mailed them.
@glitznglitterbymichelle1 Tanks. I will do that for sure. They're really pretty but not $107 pretty lol 🤣
I love the turtle! Sea turtles are my favorite!❤
Thank you Michelle, he is so cute. Yes I think filling with shells saved some resin. I love what you did.
Thank you 😊
Everything came out beautiful. I love your taste in color and texture, your creations are never gaudy. Thank you for sharing and God bless. ❤️😊
Thank you so much!
love ❤️ love ❤️ love ❤️ the turtle & coaster ! Thank you for all you do !
You are so welcome!
Love your pieces! Turtles are one of my favorite animals ❤
Is the extra resin maybe due to the room taken up by the abalone? I thought the measurements on the moles were definitely to do with how much resin they hold? Love those colours- aqua/teal seem to be my favourite at the moment too 🥰
The number on the mold was how much the mold weighed 🤦♀️ it actually holds 10 oz. And I usually always measure with water first and I didn’t this time!!! Lesson learned.
The turtle and everything is just beautiful ❤
Thank you ☺️
Your shell pieces took up a lot of space…they look amazing
Thank you! 😊
Those shells i love them but they are very expensive in canada
They aren't too cheap on Amazon either!
That turtle is adorable!!!!! Love the coaster too!! I'm going to have to get some of that glass!
I LOVE the abalone dyed shells. adds beauty to the turtle. Amazon here I come. And I just ordered from them not even an hour ago!! Thank you Michelle for the tutorial. 😍🤗
Cool! Your welcome 🤗
Gorgeous Michelle, love the turtle and coaster, everything is beautiful 😍
Thanks so much! 😊
Love the turtle it came out so cute💙 you didn't need to do anything different. The extra pieces came out so good too!
Amazing
❤❤ the turtle! I have used those rocks to make coasters, an incense holder and a snail. I used black as a backing color and the rocks really popped with that!
I love these stones!! They’re gorgeous! 😍
Looks great.
Gorgeous turtle and coaster, they both look amazing! Great job 👏
The shells turned out beautifully
You already filled part of your turtle with the resin and shells so you didn't need the full 13 Oz with the blue which is why you had too much
So beautiful. I want to make one of these.... also, looks like you made14oz, you used 7oz plus the initial 3oz... and obviously the shells took up space as a filler, so probably 4 oz or so of space there... I think the math, maths hahaha but yes, that was very confusing.
I’ve learned not to go by their marks on their molds 😐
I’ve learned not to go by their marks on their molds 😐
OMGOODNESS IT IS JUST SO BEAUTIFUL!!!💜💜💜
Love love it❤❤❤ i wish that i could buy the same thing that you can, but here in Denmark it is really limited what we have in resin and I have not yet found a firm that send to Denmark 😢😢
Oh that stinks!! I take for granted all the things we have access too I guess!
The problem with your resin measurement is that you put shell in your mold. The shell has taken up some of the liquid volume of your mold. Thanks for sharing! It rurned out great.
After the fact the turtle only held 10oz 🤦♀️🤦♀️
I agree with everyone else! I love the mold and I love what you did with it. The shells are simply gorgeous! Thank you!
I came back to tell you i ordered the turtle mold and the filler too. I think they’ll be in tomorrow! Yay!
You’ll love it!! ❤️
