this game is at its scariest whenever its digging into your system and finding invasive details about you, and i wish it leaned into that more instead of the generic creepypasta jumpscare stuff
Well I imagine the game had to avoid getting marked as malware on Steam, so there probably wasn’t much choice in the matter.

I also think it not showing the scares on stream is intentional, it creates a sense o hm. this person might be crazy cause there's nothing there
I was wondering that too!! It also makes the little pop up at the beginning of “action blocked by streamer mode” was the game screwing with him by foreshadowing that it new full well he was streaming and was going to use that to its advantage. I know nothing about this game though and its capabilities. This video is the first I’ve heard of it.

therm i'd love to see you play IMSCARED... it's an indie horror game from 2012, and it was one of, if not the first horror games to do this whole "messing with your computer" thing. it inspired the likes of Doki Doki Literature Club, and most likely this game, too. ^_^ i find it's quite unappreciated for its influence!

The inclusion of "personal scares that you can't record on video" in this game is really cool though since I've experienced beef with OBS refusing to record minecraft in full screen because of some weird capture glitch that I assume works similarly to how this game does it intentionally, I have to rate this game 2/10 at best (trust me it made me REALLY angry when sht wasn't working on my old computer when it was SUPPOSED TO WORK sorry for lashing out idk what came to me I'm a broken man)
