Look. It's just bloody impressive that you guys released Afterlight and Eventide in the same year. Firstly, because that's a lot of work, and secondly, because the growth in musicianship between the 2 releases is utterly exponential and needs to be remembered.
It's such a triumph and it should to be preserved as such. 🙌
I reckon Physical and Upside Down are throw backs to some of the flavours in Afterlight. I like that about those songs.
You might cringe at SOTF in 5 or 10 years' time, but the creative development is something that yearns to be celebrated.
It'd be wild if you ever cracked out Insomnia or EOD or Doomed at a gig. I'm sad that I jumped on the Reliqa ship a bit too late to hear these songs live (well, except for that one time at The Cambridge. That was a special gig, but that will remain fondly in my heart as a one-time-only special).
You can't not make art for fear that you'll make something better later. We're all growing along with you on this ride, it would just be silly to supress past chapters. They give colour and context to where you are at now. They're precious. 😊
The Halfway Point is still my most beloved Reliqa song. I'll happily break my drumsticks to that song any day of the week 😆

You get it, absolutely loving this energy and yes to bringing Doomed back
