You may want to not reply to your dumper, because they may only be reaching out to you for some type of validation/supply. This only serves the dumper, while not serving the dumpee.
Tbh I read someone on Reddit who said always respond to a breadcrumb with a closed response; no questions. I don’t mean to be rude but I wish I’d done that. I followed your advice and put a question in (how are you?) and he’s ignored me ever since. It’s been 3 months and I feel really stupid. I wish I’d blocked him all those months ago but now I can’t because if I block him now it’ll look like I’ve been desperately waiting all this time. So he’s muted and if he ever were to write I’ll block him then. My advice to dumpees is he cold and if they really want you and regret it then they’ll fight for you. What’s the point getting someone lukewarm? Best be alone and leave them to find what they think they deserve. We loved them deeply and they’ve thrown that in the bin. We’ve lost someone who doesn’t think we’re worth even a single text message never mind more.
I was with someone for 4 months. Helped them several times because we lived far away, and it was a financial struggle at times on their end. She was a single mother working 2 jobs to make it. So I at one time paid her car, insurance and electricity on separate occasions. We had 1 argument that started on her end, and when I defended myself, she got up, packed her bags and left on the spot in the middle of the night, and drove 2 hrs home. Never told me she made it home. The next day, she decided to reach out, but later that night, she was petty about it all, blaming me for this and that. I broke up with her on no contact and never heard from her again. Life sucks sometimes, but I know I wasn't the problem because everything is back to normal for me. I have a good job and life like I did before we met. Keep your head up.

What about if you’ve bin in no contact for 3 months, and they’ve heard a rumour that I’m seeing someone new and the break no contact to be horrible towards me ?
