So lovely to see CS going strong still after all these years - and in a lovely garden with a lovely dog! I used to love them so much when I was a teenager and their songs have stood the test of time. This is my favourite though I think - a classic.
That was the greatest thing I've ever seen on the internet. Haha! One of my favorite bands playing one of my favorite songs, acoustic in a beautiful garden during what feels like end times. What a strange, surreal time we live in. It's Onwards and Upwards from here. GO WILD! (see what I did there?)
@@michfilms66bluurgtv I saw you all in NYC, 98. Cant belive you were in Eugene and I missed it. Ive been enjoying your music since the 80's and still do.
"carved up someone's landscape just to get from a to b just to move that little bit faster in our 5 speed luxury just to move that little bit closer to the world on your tv" please share more! pleeeaase...
Sadly 30 odd years after it was released the record is still bang on. Look at HS2.....craving up the countryside so you can get from London to Brum 25 mins quicker.
Feels like so long ago I saw them last at the Tree Fayre in Cornwall 🤔but I guess it was about 30 years ago 🤷♂️😅 I know they are right and their music has always been in my collection. Stay strong and keep on keeping on.
I saw them 30 odd years ago at the George Robey at Finsbury Park and charldaton woods after getting booted off the summer solstice at stone henge those were the days !
One of my faves, full stop. Listening to this on the Travellers Aid Trust album got me into a whole new sphere of music and thinking. Been on the upward spiral ever since.
So many people bitch about their favorite bands changing musically but it's called growth. And we've all been blessed with the growth of Dick (sounds kinky I know) in all his endeavors. From the Subhumans to Citizen Fish to Culture Shock we're all lucky enough to have hundreds of songs to enjoy for the rest of our lives and even more in the days to come. Cheers to true musicians growing up and still making a difference.
I can’t believe I remembered all the words. My 3 year old boy, Jett, loved this and tried singing too! My all time fav band ever! 💙 Can’t wait to see you guys again somewhere! 😎🖤
@@michfilms66bluurgtv The pleasure is always mine. I have been on your journey since I was a teen. I wonder if your roadie is still well? I bumped into him on a train once on my way to woodwork college. We had a lovely chat - I’d seen you down south the previous year and had a lovely chat to Dick then and told him all about it 🫡 Legends. You helped keep me going all these years. This is quality. Mad blessings and respect to you all ❤️💛💚 🙏🏼✌🏼❤️🎶🌎💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Great! It's strange that something pops on RUclips which is exactly what is wanted and hasn't been heard before. Where did I put the extra-strength tin-foil?
Very entertaining ..... Dick having to use the internet, despite his hatred for it. But doing so through gritted teeth, to connect to his loyal, and supportive fan base. See you on the other side. And take care!!!!
was just thinking , what gig/festie i was at that, dick played at that was my bestest , gotta be treworgy tree fair festival we was hanging from the speaker towers , and many brighton gigs ,
Dick Lucas is one of the biggest philosophic influences in my life. The years of punk rock were worth it to learn from this man's amazing lyrics.
How well is your life?

Be grest to hear some more. Always wanted to do an acoustic version of 20 questions at an open mic but could never find a singer who would do it
