The frunk is sensitive for safety reasons but it uses an algorithm where if you close it the 2nd-3rd time, the motors would close it where it crushes the items because at that stage, you're saying to it that you don't care if it gets crushed.
Ultimate vehicle. You didn't mention the stainless steel but you have a lot less to worry about regarding scratches, dings. The only improvement will be when they build the CyberSUV version for those who want three rows instead of a bed. Nice to have off road capabilities.
I wish Tesla would do an software update with an option or options to increase the size of the rear view mirror display on the center console that tiny display is ridiculous and not safe
Are you using automatic carwashes to clean your truck? If so have you noticed any negatives as far as scratching of the stainless steel body? Been hearing not recommended on youtube to others who claim they have gone thru 50 automatic carwashes with absolutely no issues. Also is there anything in the warranty from Tesla that says you can or can't use automatic carwashes?
Hi, thanks for your comment. Currently I wash the CT in my driveway with a garden hose and a foam gun with carwash soap. It does a pretty good job. But once snow comes and roads get salted, I'll most probably take it to a car wash.
yeah when I got home it smelled like big tires and adhesive too. Notice it stronger in the bed for sure. Its faded a bit after 4 days now. I would love to know some minor like alignment tricks on the tailgate and cantrails. Service manual didn’t really seem to cover that much right now but most my stuff is a 1-2mm thing so nothing horrible.
Congratulations on your CT! My panel alignments are pretty much spot on. There is a slight asymmetry on the left Vs right inverted V strip on top of the doors, at the rear side. But I really have to make it my goal to find it, to see it.
The genius of putting left/right function in an up/down orientation 🙄 This truck has potential, but it needs a) a Digital rear view mirror, b) washer for rear camera, c) re-oriented turn signal buttons, d) actual KNOBS for HVAC and .... yes Elon ... a HUD. Filing the sharp edges during assembly would also be much appreciated.
Thanks for your video. Helping me decide about my purchase.
So you decided to buy Rivian or CT?
@@Firefly_3161 CT but not the foundation edition. Waiting for the regular CT
Thanks for the insightful video! I can't wait to have mine once the Foundations stop.

Having the rear camera and both side mirrors on the screen at the same time works just fine.
I have that same blind spot on my Prius....
