@@TheBeardedITDad yeah there's quite a bit of lab work in the course, we did network building in packet tracer, ransomware attack, currently doing Wireshark, nmap and metasploit in VMware workstation pro with Linux, windows and Ubuntu
Where did you find this guy we need more individuals like him and you to Dakota also nice prize you announced today I been wanting to take Sec + but you know how it is its expensive keep on pushing good content Happy holidays
I thought about starting doing mini blog posts in Linkdin about advanced virtualization and cloud linux setup with ssh setup do you recommend it to improve my chance to grab a better job in the field? If so, should it be tutorials or general steps or just info about what has been done and why? Many thanks!
I defiantly think it would help improve the chances of landing a job in the field. As for how you should create them I would do what ever interests you the most. I dont think one way is better than the other.. just putting the effort in will help.
Anything that can help you get started sharing your knowledge is a good step in my opinion. Optimization for the best type of content can come after that -- just gotta get started!
@@ChristopheLimpalair Hi chris, I want to get into the path of cloud security, I have knowledge of cybersecurity, hacking and programming with python, I have never worked in IT, My plan is to start with aws partitioner, and then continue with solution arch and then sec, do you think I could get into some work? My doubt, is if I have to do some SOC path (blue team) or directly I go for cloud, and the last doubt is if I need to do comptia sec+ (check the syllabus and I have the knowledge from other courses done, actually I can not afford to spend the money on the certification) or with aws partitioner is fine? I think I can afford 100usd. Thank you very much for your time, and the truth is that I am thinking about getting your courses but I don't know where to start. PD: I would also like Big Beard's opinion. @TheBeardedITDad For more interviews like this! Cheers from Argentina :)
Sir, I am fascinated with the field of cyber. I'm continuously learning from the last 3 years. I solved Hack the Box CTF to sharpen my skills. I belong to a lower-class family, and my family's yearly income is just $534, so they can't afford to spend a lot of money on certification. Sir, if you can help me, I would be very grateful to you.

How is Az 500 for azure security in 2024?
Take the 104 first. You'll be lost without it if you have no cloud exp in the first place.
@@mrcheeks7335 Thanks. I have worked on network part of azure.
good podcast,
I'm struggling a lot between SOC analyst and cloud security what do you recommend for a beginner?
it really depends on your background. Likely cloud security will be easier to get into first.
@@TheBeardedITDad ja great thanks.
Actually some networks and Linux and some stuff as Wireshark and so but I think is better to i think big.

Do I need to have basic knowledge about cloud before taking this course?
It would defently help but if you are a quick learner you should be fine.
