I gotta say, I'm very happy with this until I can get my own gaming rig. Definitely worth it if your own system isn't up to the task.

@@GameTechPlanet Ah okay. Was just asking because. I've never had an RTX card until a few months ago. I haven't even played an RTX enabled game yet. Been too busy having fun in other titles I previously couldn't play at reasonable settings. Thanks for answering my question so quickly.

Hi, I'm kinda new to all this... I signed up to steam adn felt nostalgic and downloaded Oddworld games... Is my session still limited to 1 hour on the free sub? Even though I've already bought that game?
The free tier is not limited other than rtx and session length. If your on free and you one hour is up just log back on and u get another hour and so on. Never ends
gnow doesnt save my graphical settings... always about mid in every game. I have to change settings everytime. only lol saves my settings to the account.
I play apex legends a lot on it from my smartphone for free, actually i am in india so i also use a vpn and then turn it off there is a high ping but i still playon 720p60fps which is great !!
The problem with geforce now is that i have to wait for 240 players to finish playing so i can play for 1 hour, worst part is i wait for 2 and a half hours so its sooooooooo bad
Thats due to the free tier. It stays busy on alot of games. GFN is almost the only cloud that even offers free for people to try and has over 80 free to play games. Stadia does have a free tier but like 2 or 3 games. Also remember gaming is not free and never will be. The free tier is intended for trying out the service to see how it works for you before you purchse the service. Its intent never rly was for it to be the way people gamed. I also doubt the free tier will stick around to much longer as things in the cloud space change. But definitely noone should expect totally free gaming lol and when there is yea theres gonna be waits and limitations
Nope dont have to pay. The free tier just has the one hour sessions, longer wait ques and no rtx. Other then those 3 things its basically the same as paid.
No matter what tier you get there will be resolution and bitrate options to help you with ehtting the best experience you can with your internet. Id recommend starting with the priority tier.
Has there been a downgrade of something? My internet is pretty good but the performance not so much. I've played Space Engineers so far on high but it looks kind of bad and I get occasional stutters. I switched to wired connection and it got better but still not amazing. I thought free tier has less juice but now I'm wondering where the issue is...
I still dont understand what geforce now does even though I have it. Is it for people who don't have good computers to like virtually stream games onto their bad laptops/phones?
Yeah, in my pc i have a very old gtx 760 but with GeForce Now i can play in streaming a lot of games. Like Death Stranding, Cyberpunk 2077 and other. And it is also usefull to play game without the need of download them
In my case, i usually play on console but i don't have money e dedication to play on PC because of drivers, continuous updates graphic card etc... So, it is very useful for me
For me I only have a laptop (nit gaming) and don't want to invest in hardware. So $50/yr or even $120/yr for Shadow with regular hardware updates is cheaper then spending $700-$1,500 for a machine I have to upgrade.
I dont believe the service is available in india and I have not had much luck as far as work arounds and vpn’s. Have you been able to get it working at all?
Odd, I never had this problem. If anything I see those errors more using the app over the browser. I'm paid now, and still see those errors every now and then mainly when my son is gaming and daughter streaming video at the same time.

Thanks A Lot!
This video helped a bunch!!
Idk for me i was at 40 fps with 100 3d res on fortnite now i get 200 with 3d res and im on a cheap ass school laptop
3:30 why wouldn't you reccomend playing it that way? I have potatoe, but games work at 60fps.
Because to get 60 fps stable its very difficult with rtx on. Performance dlss can get ya close but really kills the crisp resolution of the game. Balanced is much better for rtx but you will not run ultra every setting inluding rtx ultra with balanced dlss and maintain 60 and above in this game. If running 30-60 fps is your goal then thats easier. If you wanna maintain 60 min in every area of the game your gonna need to mess with settings. Also depends how crisp your want the image. So thats why i mention in this video that those maxed out settings with performance dlss are just for that video and not recommended as the frame rate drops in many areas are way to much.
@@GameTechPlanet thanks for the reply.
No problem 👍
So if I get the subscription can I play more then 6 hours or no ? And is it 6 hours a day you can play ?
Its 6 hour sessions. You literally just log roght back in and go another 6 hours. No dailey limits
Here's me waiting for Geforne Now to arrive at Asia Server
There's a 2 servers in Russia. Definetely closer than USA or Europe. You should try
@@ОлегПасатецкий yea but i prefer USA Server because less waiting if you play from asia and i cant understand russian i tried it once playing Rainbow Six Siege and im so confused with what my teammate talking about
i just went to their website and it looks like the free version isn't there anymore. Is it just me? I live in Singapore
Could be some website uldates happening or something happened with availability. If I hear anything I will comment.
i bought it 4 days ago and have been playing cyberpunk the entire time, (40 hours in game yea vacation alksfhjajklfh) for 2 days i had some lag and instability problems, specially at night, rn is 23:27 and i have 200 people ahead of me and its taking like around 30 min to log in... kinda annoying but im from south america and we only have 1 server
6:15 what game is that?
Immortals fenyx rising
@@GameTechPlanet thx
So for free we can play only one hour length ??
1 hour sessions. You may immediately log back in
In free i can't even open any game because i get error code
Definitely shouldn’t be. You have said games in your pc library right?
@@GameTechPlanet well in the past i just used to click game and it opened i didn't do anything and I still don't. I can't remember that error code atm tho. If you can help me out it would be everything for me
@@warrior8154 There was a version of GFN in the past that had native free games and you did not have to add the games to your pc library. THis is no longer the case. Whatever game you want to play needs to be added to your current Epic, Steam GOG or Ubisoft accounts before they can launch in GFN
Wait so on the free version, after one hour it takes you out the game? And then you can go back for another 1 hour?
Yea
you didn't open ray tracing
Paid version is running rtx and the free version is not. Thats also extremely obvious by the footage as well lol. Nothing looks like ray tracing
@@GameTechPlanet The paid version doesn't look like ray tracing
so you can only play in 1 hour sessions ad have to reset or is that it for the day?
1 hour then it logs you off and you can immediately get back on for another hour. Over and over again no limit.
@@GameTechPlanet ahh ok thank you
Wait... So does this mean I can't use the RTX or DLSS features of my card, without having signed up for Geforce Now?
Geforce Now is cloud gaming. If you have a local rtx card they have nothing to do with each other.
@@GameTechPlanet Ah okay. Was just asking because. I've never had an RTX card until a few months ago. I haven't even played an RTX enabled game yet. Been too busy having fun in other titles I previously couldn't play at reasonable settings.
Thanks for answering my question so quickly.
No problem. What card did you get? Rtx and dlss are great. I definitely understand going back to play other titles lol. Feels nice to have a good gpu
@@GameTechPlanet I ended up getting an EVGA RTX 2060 about September. Was the fastest card I could safely fit in my itx rig. And was the last one in stock at the time. I tells ya. A 3 slot card is a chonky thing to cram into an itx case.
can i play minecraft on ge force now with paid ge force now
Minecraft is not currently on GFN
miss when geforce was just 5 dollars, instead of 10
Same
east europe we pay 20$ :( this is madness
the waiting time is so bad but i cant aafford any paid stuff. Im so sad :(
5:17 tpose
so do I have to wait after the hour to play again
Nope no waitint unless there happens to be a que for a certain game. But theres no session cool down time you can load right back up
after the free subscription expires it buys me the paid one automaticly?[soryy for my poor english]
I don’t notice a difference with RTX on it off
I cant find the free membership option
Imma have to get that founders edition
Can you only play 1-hour session lengths of the personally owned games if you have a free membership?
Yes
Geforce app on my android don't run games : must bye games on steam......I never seen free games
GFN has about 100 free to play games. You need to add them to you Steam, Epic, Origin, Ubisoft library’s as needed but it supports a lot of free to play
@@GameTechPlanet really? Excuse me I don't know.....tnx🙏
Is this an hour per day or just one hour period?
So the free tier is one hour sessions. You can immediately go back in for another hour over and over
But I dont even have access to Geforce now here at Sri Lanka.. why
You guys got computer in sri lanka
@@chickswithgun ofc they do
Hi, I'm kinda new to all this... I signed up to steam adn felt nostalgic and downloaded Oddworld games... Is my session still limited to 1 hour on the free sub? Even though I've already bought that game?
But I can only play 1 hour and pay or I can play but I have to wait? I mean can I play any time I want or I can only play once and then always pay
The free tier is not limited other than rtx and session length. If your on free and you one hour is up just log back on and u get another hour and so on. Never ends
gnow doesnt save my graphical settings... always about mid in every game. I have to change settings everytime. only lol saves my settings to the account.
6 months only atm
I play apex legends a lot on it from my smartphone for free, actually i am in india so i also use a vpn and then turn it off there is a high ping but i still playon 720p60fps which is great !!
What card does priority have
Most the time a 2080 or in some games now a 3060
@@GameTechPlanet thx for quick reply i have priority and was wondering which card it had.
Yesterday I played like 6 hours (6 sessions) of AC Valhalla on free tier. I waited about 10 minutes in total
could you make gnow for instance cyberpunk on steam vs on epic vs gog? and maybe witcher3 too... I am really curious about inputt lagg and fps.
I am on the free when the hour runs out can I still play again someone pls help me ty
Yes you can. Just gotta relaunch your game
@@GameTechPlanet ty so I don't have to pay 10 dollar
Nope dont have to pay. The free tier just has the one hour sessions, longer wait ques and no rtx. Other then those 3 things its basically the same as paid.
What's bitrate? free is 20mb and paid is
If my connection at home is not great wich plan should I get to help maybe boost my exsperience ? I'm on a tablet
No matter what tier you get there will be resolution and bitrate options to help you with ehtting the best experience you can with your internet. Id recommend starting with the priority tier.
founders edition is basically required free is long loading time short session time
How can you see this black window with hardware information?
Alt Cntrl F6
Is the paid all paid games are free? or still need to paid
GFN sub is for access to the service and GFN doesnt sell or supply any games. GFN connects to your pc game launchers
@@GameTechPlanet Ohh ok
how long do u get ot play for man?
On free 1 hour sessions. Just relog in. With laid 6 hours
do you enter to game immediately with premium account or waiting 1 hour like on free??
No. The paid gets u right in 99% of the time and they are expanding their his year as well
@@GameTechPlanet thank you on the fast reply brother

And it is also usefull to play game without the need of download them
In my case, i usually play on console but i don't have money e dedication to play on PC because of drivers,
continuous updates graphic card etc... So, it is very useful for me
For me I only have a laptop (nit gaming) and don't want to invest in hardware. So $50/yr or even $120/yr for Shadow with regular hardware updates is cheaper then spending $700-$1,500 for a machine I have to upgrade.
And I can play on my phone when traveling or waiting.
It is just a video that you receive while your pc sends commands to a server which you are using to play a game
How to upgrade geforce now membership in inida how to buy pls explain
I dont believe the service is available in india and I have not had much luck as far as work arounds and vpn’s. Have you been able to get it working at all?
There is no more 5 per month
Its temporarily sold out due to the popularity gained during the cyberpunk launch but its also not the first time. It will be back.
@@GameTechPlanet I been playing fortnite and it's been running good on the free version, is the paid version worth it?
If you buy the 6 month thing and actually use the service it's cheaper.
Only 6 hours? How come Stadia is unlimited time? using Stadia for months and enjoying it.
I doubt you'd be playing more than 4 hours on just 1 session
Stadia is where you have to buy the games you own again ? No, thx
tried the free version out, it said spotty connection just after I've tested my connection. lool just gonna have to pay up!
+1, it won't work as free. It lies about bad connection
@@5uchar Had a feeling it was that. thanks for letting me know
Odd, I never had this problem. If anything I see those errors more using the app over the browser. I'm paid now, and still see those errors every now and then mainly when my son is gaming and daughter streaming video at the same time.
@@tlbignerdLuck of the draw I suppose. I'm not sure it could be a server-related issue. However, I might try it soon just not sure if I need 6 months' worth.
@@gamingninja6246 yeah, I debated on getting it. Especially since I'm paying $10/mo for Stadia pro. But family uses my accounts too, so I decided it was worth a try. Good luck!
how many time do you wait on fouhnders edition
Never. Ive never had any wait even during the launch of cyberpunk
Neither have I.
The whole immortals thing running better on free looks ridicolous. I haven’t tested it because i got it when I have founders, why do you think there’s a difference? Btw I didn’t know there was a limit to founders, I thought it was unlimited
To be fair it's only after 6hrs of continuous play so with priority queues it shouldn't be a problem.
Its 4.99 well worth paying for.
Is the free one is always free? Or after one month it starts to get paid?
Always free

I feel like it’s nice paying for founders. Except I wish there was more features for founders. I have no idea what. But not every game has rtx. And yeah priority access is great. Along with a longer play time. Just wish I could get more for my money
Yea agreed. I think in the future you will see something kinda like stadia where free is 1080p and founders will allow 1440p and 4k. Maybe we can get some other features as well but this will be the bigger diff coming down the road
