hope you are warming up well before the dance, that is the most important thing in this dance. I've paid the price myself. If your leg hurts, don't dance! You have to wait until the muscle stops hurting because otherwise you can damage your knees. To wait, I recommend stretching your legs. If that doesn't help, try putting some muscle cream or something, I'm sure you know what I mean. That should help.
Hi David, your videos are great and your culture is very interesting. This is a very manly dance and I am sure the ladies of your culture love to see the guys doing it. I remember when the Czech Republic used to be Czechoslovakia. My grandmother traveled there as a young woman. She said it was a warm and friendly place that had close ties with the USA. I think it is amazing that the Czech Republic and Slovakia split up with our going to war. Your uniform reminds me of the soldiers in the film "Enemy at The Gates" which was about the Nazi invasion of Stalingrad which is now called Volgograd. Ely- North Carolina, USA.

Judging by the fact that you put on the Soviet uniform of the Russian occupiers, including your home country of the Czech Republic, it is immediately clear that you consider hopak to be a Russian dance - this shows the level of your mental development. For your information, “Hopak” is a Ukrainian dance. And in Ukraine, no one tanks hopak the way you do. It feels like when you dance you simultaneously shit in your pants and for this reason you dance slowly so as not to spill shit out of your pants.
