i wish they would put restructure contracts feature in this game, that way you know when you the team is good, players will recognize it and they will take less money to able to bring in more talent and resign the current talent on the roster.
Not ideal but if you go to manage talent, then team salaries you can edit the player. Go all the way to the far right tab and you can adjust all of their contract details. I know it’s cheating but you can be conservative about it to realistically restructure contracts
First draft in my franchise, number one prospect looked really good, ended up trading up and got a genarational CB although he was 5 10 he was super athletic thanks for the tips!
Good method, started a Texans rebuild and traded cook and some other older dudes for 7 2nd rounders. 6 if them were 73 or better . Will be using this method from now on except for qb
I always trade top picks unless I need a QB and there's a clear top guy. I just slide back and pick up first, seconds, and thirds. I go to about 20-25 basically when you start getting round 4s in offers.
Honestly, drafting this year is really easy. Even without trading for a crap ton of 2nd and 3rd round picks, you can still average a pretty good draft most of the time depending on the class and as long as you know what traits to look for dependent on position and archetype, and also know that any other good trait is a bonus. I hardly ever draft normal dev, and they end up getting at least star dev half the time anyway when I do. I feel like I have to try to actually make the team worse most of the time tbh
Traits are not really something that is going to tell you whether or not they are going to have a high overall though. Drafting this year needs to be updated but is their best version of drafting to date.
@@T4GSports Ik I said traits which might’ve been confusing, I meant skills like a physical WR having A or B catch in traffic (what it should be) along with A deep route (bonus) B med and short. And I suppose elite speed with great accel (bonus) would be traits. But I basically just look for what should be there for a player as far as position and archetype are concerned, and other nice things as bonuses. Doesn’t mean I won’t draft someone if they don’t have those bonus skills and traits tho. And I agree it could be tweaked a little. Also, what would you think of being able to see next years draft class along with the current draft class in the game?
i dunno. they’ve built the team up enough to where if they go get two more top 10 guys that aren’t qbs they could be too good next year to be position to get their qb. i think they’re at the point where they should get their guy. if you think one of these guys is the guy then you have to pull the trigger
Idk about him having the factor. If he had the factor they would have won more this year than they did. CJ is more accurate than Deshaun. If CJ learned to run just a bit more he would be the next Patrick Mahomes.
I like Bruce but I'd go with Stroud, I think Bryce is going to have injury probs, his frame is something to worry about, he's probably 5'10-5'11 and 185 at most... He's way too small, yea Murray is little but he's got a sturdy frame, Bryce has a very slim frame
Yo appreciate the content just drafted a SS 70 over with 99 hit power I already have a pretty good as should I change his position to LB or what should I do
I'm playing a competitive dual franchise and I'm killing in trades, we picked different teams (not our favs) I picked the raiders traded Derek Carr for Justin fields, traded pickes for Trevor Lawrence and later in the season flipped some picks and got this dude QB Falcons Ridder. I believe all 3 are rated stars. Also got Debo, Chase and Higgins. mostly have same D and besides that I only have like 2 7ths and 1 6th in the next two drafts. Also got Malik Willis from cousin. QB1 Trevor Lawrence Franchise Career QB QB2 Justin Fields Future starter Star Max trade QB3 Desmond Ridder Future Starter Star max trade QB4 Malik Willis Average af Boy Traded ASAF for Better #4
I hardly even scout players that have 1st round attached to them. I start at the 1-2 round attachment and judt work my way down to the undrafted talent. Throw some music on and you'll be done before you know it. Just heart or favorite the players you are interested in, check in after the combine and further scouting and be sure to single out 3 players you need and think are going to be it because you get to invite them for personal team workouts and scout them 100%. I try to take dudes with the lowest draft rating and highest potential in areas that are needed for the team schemes. The draft in madden is won and lost in rounds 2-4.
Tips4Gamers question so when you are trading for the second round picks from other teams are you trade the players with the bad contracts or the age and overall rate for the player just trying to learn new to this hope you can response
Yes, consider all of that but mainly consider green interest players. If you see a player that shows green interest on a team that will come close to giving you their second round pick. After that if you have to give them a 5th round pick to finish off the deal look to do that. Another thing that you can do when you know what team you are going to be trading with you can look at their "Team Needs" then go to the free agency and pick a player up that fits what they want and trade them that player.
Thanks appreciate it whenever you get time can you make a video on contracts when signing a player and how much you should give them or do you have a video like that already out
For the average Madden gamer we would say no. However, in our hands or someone else who knows what to look for like we show in several of our videos then yes it can be very profitable. The only time for us that it wouldn't be profitable would be if our team is already stout and all we are missing is a few key positions than no because getting a really good first round player would be more profitable if cap isn't an issue. So it is still situational.
I’ve watched all your drafting videos more than once and I drafted a hidden dev pass coverage LB in the 4th round with the first pick. Im improving, thank you for the awesome content.
Its not realistic for multiple reasons: 1) Most leagues you cant trade with CPU for reasons you just showed lol | 2) How many teams have made 8+ trades in 1 year? | 3) In leagues where you can trade with CPU, its almost always capped at 1,2, or 3 max. On M22, you could literally trade the CPU your #2 overall pick for their #1 overall pic...Since the game is largely copy+paste Im sure the same logic, or lack thereof, is the same.
No they aren't most teams value the 1st round still bc they think those picks are no brainers, we value them bc you probably have a team that lands 2nd and 3rd round steals. I'm a 49ers fan and I don't think any other teams has drafted stars in the 5th round. Most of the league doesn't have that success, unless they have great scouting dept bc if most of the league valued those picks and was good at those rounds they wouldn't always be over the salary cap and everyone would have a dynasty. The teams that can replace older guys with cheaper 3rd-5th rounders consistently at each position with very few vet FA signings are the teams that build dynasty's for years and always seem to stay winning.
@@passportpapi713 2nd round picks barely make 2 million a year, 3 round picks make rookie minimum. If you find starters in those rounds you have low cost options for 4 years. It’s really cruel. The nfl is such BS for the players. Only the stars make any money at all. The average nfl career is 3 years so most guys don’t even get past their rookie deal. To risk CTE and all that. I wouldn’t play football and be constantly banged up and permanently disabled probably and in pain for the rest of my life for that kind of money.

To fix the depth chart issue with the CPU rearranging it…..take practice injury off
Dang that actually will help me thank you bro ✊️
One thing I realized is when you are ready to draft a future starter, having a mentor at that position helps give xp boost.
