Peanut Butter Overnight Oatmeal

  • I enjoy making overnight oats so I have oatmeal all set to eat right away in the morning. I like trying different flavors and this peanut butter one is pretty delicious! What's your favorite flavor of oatmeal?
    Peanut Butter Overnight Oats
    Ingredients:
    1/2 cup almond milk
    3/4 tablespoon chia seeds
    2 tablespoons nut butter
    1 tablespoon maple syrup
    1/2 cup rolled oats
    Directions:
    In a mason jar or container that has a cover, mix together the milk, chia seeds, nut butter and maple syrup.
    You can stir this all together with a spoon or put the cover on the jar/container and shake it up.
    Add the oats and mix again.
    Make sure the oats are all covered.
    Place in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours or overnight.
    Garnish with fruit or any toppings of your choice.
    Makes 1 serving.

      When I worked at a day care one of the trainers would talk about how she and her kids had peanut butter oatmeal for breakfast and I had never done that before. Now I have a couple times and it's pretty good. ☺

    Looks yummy, Jenny! I made this for my hubby and one for me almost every evening, for us to have for our breakfast! Minus the peanut butter, though! I used Mason jars ( I love Mason jars, so handy)! We used flex and chia seeds, hemp seeds, a dash of maple syrup along with almond milk, and different types of fruit...walnuts for me only, because my hubby didn't like walnuts. Yummy, and a healthy breakfast, I think so, anyway. Great work, Jenny! 😊
