this is just a thought but since songbird exists i wanna say maybe Tbug had a thing with trauma just like songbird and there is a way she could pop back up in the next game. maybe they could make a thing where she disappears only to reappear in the next game until they kill her off?!?! IDK

Arasaka has been gathering netrunner engrams for decades for some unverified purpose and they all got set free by Alt. T-bug would be one of many. But I'm not so sure that she would have escaped being placed in Mikoshi during the Heist since she was in the Arasaka HQ subnet when she was hit with Soulkiller.
I think it's more likely that T-bug hacked Cynosure before the Heist. Some job went horribly bad for Dexter DeShawn in Pacifica a few years before the game. It's why he had to go to ground. Pacifica is where that main facility is that Songbird flees to if she has no one else on her side.
If T-bug accidentally set free just one AI from Cynosure and it fried up half of Pacifica before the VDBs could stop it, that would make the local Voodoo Boys certain that the coming AI war would not end in humanities favor. Dex DeShawn running from Netwatch or the VDBs would be a reason to disappear from NC altogether for a few years. Netwatch isn't monitoring the VDBs subnet, an AI destroying portions of it might not make waves anywhere else.
T-bug is able to hack Militech training shards and the scheduling system for an Arasaka executive, she's not some wet behind the ears netrunner, she has chops. Why is she working with two nobodies with their netrunning and recommending them for jobs? You said it yourself, she's not a friend of V's, she's just a colleague. It's because she is also laying low, doing jobs that wont make waves until one comes up that might pay enough for her to disappear. Getting as much money as possible in a short time before never netrunning again would be a good time to offload anything red hot you've been sitting on like say, the location and some data about a secret Militech facility that you breached a few years ago but did nothing with because you were in hiding?
There's no way that Songbird was sitting on data that could cure her for a long time. It explains gaps in that timeline as well. Phantom Liberty doesn't start until sometime after the Heist because Songbird didn't know about Cynosure until after the Heist. She didn't know about Cynosure because T-bug didn't sell the data on it until just before the Heist while she was getting ready to disappear. T-bug didn't even have to sell it to Songbird herself, just someone that the FIA could get that data from.

Not sure if this is something, but "des moines" translates from French to "the monks".
It would make sense after all everyone died even though we might have come back to life he still died and is technically still dying even when he comes back to life.
There’s 1 issue I have with this, if your idea is right your saying tbug is stronger then alt was as she’s able to subdue song so mi who’s is probably one of if not the literal best netrunner nightcity ever had. Which to be honest I doubt tbug was or is anywhere near song so mi’s strength or skill as a runner so I do t think this is tbug but instead something using her engramic data ( sound familiar well it’s what happened when alt died an ai states it used her engramic data ) so idk I think tbug is dead and gone to be honest
I didn't mean to say that T-Bug's abilities are better than Alt's. I'm just saying that we are dealing with T-Bug, and she is definitely not human anymore. So yes, we are both kind of right. T-Bug as a human is dead, but she lives on as an AI.
@@_GATOthis is fair, I think though t-bug is dead 100% an her engrams data like alt was assimilated by a rogue ai, I’m pretty sure I kinda misunderstood but this is fair great vid keep it up.
