vst tier list, the best vsts in 2023, plugin tier list, vst plugins, free vst plugins Видеоклипы
been loving your content, i’ve gotten a lot of amazing tips from you, definitely one of my fav music youtubers but once i saw that Rodeo vinyl in the corner u became my favourite lol
keep up the good work!
I just used synth1 yesterday, such good sounds honestly. Thanks for putting me on months ago man
Your tips have helped me sell wayyy more beats cant thank you enough brotha🤟🏾💯
great list, we need this for effect plugins
ALL VSTS ARE GOOD. JUST KNOW HOW TO USE THEM ! . ITS NOT ABOUT WHAT YOU GOT BUT WHAT YOU GOT IN YOU .
@534N lmao
Great video gang
Thanks for making your version of this list and continuing to be you! 👍
S Tier : Analog Lab V, Omnisphere, Arcade, Pigments, Kontakt, Serum
A Tier : Xpand2!, Purity, LOUNGE LIZARD EP‑4, Flex
less is more imo
Yeah man, that FLEX is underrated.
S tier: nexus....the rest is hot garbage
pigments is so underrated by so many. love it
Nexus gotta be S
This guy have a best concept i sweaaaar !! Love from france bro
I've owned or still own several of the hardware synths that Analog Lab emulates and in my experience the emulations sounds very convincing, almost indistinguishable. One thing to remember when it comes to vintage synthesizers is no two pieces of hardware sound the same due to different levels of wear and repair. You often get people saying these VSTs don't sound like their hardware synth which is probably true because the VST is mapped off an entirely different instrument than the one they own. As far as I know Arturia spends a lot of time and money restoring or finding low wear units to use which means theirs probably sounds "cleaner" than the average Joe with a beat up Juno.
Good list 👍
Yo
Heres the banks I mentioned in the video: rekonise.com/jmizzy-synth1-preset-stash-0rldr
what u said ab M1 was mad accurate. I wud use it more but the double click annoys me too much
What banks would you recommend for Serum that we dont know about?
Can you do a similar video for banks ? Or where to get banks
If Arturia Pigments isn't in S tier I'm throwing hands
I did the trial of pigments last week and was going to keep it via the splice rent to own. But .... Uninstalled it yesterday. There are just way too many options, knobs, etc and not enough presets. It's like they want you to spend hours on tweaking one sound.... Just don't have the time. Sorry. Ugh.
THIS GUY DOES HIS NUMBERS! Very good work my boy 💯
You should do a video on some great serum expansions 👀 I struggle with finding them for some reason there's just so much out there.
those lenses def make them beats slap harder. fire editing btw keep cookin
thx g
Good list
I'm not super into VST synths as I'm exploring analog but some of these might need to check some of these out.
good list tbh
💪🏼
You're missing decent sampler, it's like the better version of labs.

I am surprised you haven't upgraded to Nexus 4. The ability to finally really modify presets is there since they partially opened up the engine. Also some nice new effects. Glad to see you give it some love either way. Definitely agree on Omnisphere. Been using it for over a decade and nothing comes close for flexibility, interface, support, and libraries. Pigments 4 is definitely S tier especially for pads. This was a list of synth VSTs though. There are a lot more great VSTs than synths alone. Why even bother with Lounge Lizard when you have Keyscape? Also, for beats you still can't beat Stylus RMX. Give Modalics Beat Scholar a try. Pretty interesting interface. I was using Arcade until I tried East West Hollywood Composer subscription. Way deeper libraries with a much better interface and sounds.
lounge lizard has some cool epianos / rhodes type keys that keyscape doesn’t rly have, and takes up way less space / is not cpu heavy… agree that keyscape is significantly better overall, but if you have a lower-end PC and make rnb/dancehall shit lounge lizard def makes sense
awesome video. how do you feel about sublab? would you recommend it?
Diva, ANA2, Sample Tank 4, Ezkeys, Triton/Triton Extreme, Electrax2, Pigments, Analog Lab 5, Roland SRX Series, Nemesis, Sytrus are all S tier for me. I dont have omnisphere or kontakt cuz of the file size required.
Buy some ssd g
Seeing Zebra2 and fm8 get love is nice zebra 2 is insanely underrated i love the tonal ambient sounds on there when you throw them into 1/2 grossbeat you get some dirty melodies
Edit: and fabfilter twin 2 brooo W
fm8 so nostalgic, still love it
@@SIXFIGVENTURESwhat is fm8 good for? Like pads, leads, strings keys? I’ve been thinking about getting it
what’s the best place to find serum banks??
Electrax morphine and flex are my favorite vsts I own I believe you hit it right on target with electrax in the ranking although flex and morphine is probably put in b tier but it’s all in how you use them I learned to produce with morphine and flex was a plug-in I didn’t even know existed until later on flex has some great strings and their darkstar feedback electric guitar is killer for a free distorted guitar but needs eq and whatnot I don’t own many plugins but out of the few I have those are pretty much all I use out of what I have when it comes to sounds instruments and synths but I do mess with a lot of fx and weird little sounds out of kits such as things labeled fx ambiance and sirens the beats I make with those tend to give a very unsettling dark vibe though so it’s hard for me to put vocals over them all in all I’d mostly agree with your list as I do not have many of the plugins on the list
Analog Lab is no joke, easily the most versatile VST with all the synths it includes. Sample maker's dream as well with all the classic vintage sounds. Only thing I really disagree with here is the TAL-UNO, one of the best Juno emulators other than Roland's and the amount of artists these days which use the Juno is crazy.
S tier 4sho
Analog lab is hit or miss. The load times, animations that take .5s and preset quality varies
🐐
Could you do a 'best to worst' drum machine / sample library / instrument list?
Bro, the M1 preset double-click thing drives me crazy too! Korg's other plugins don't do that
good list but I would rank zenology between B or A tier
no pigments or phase plant??
the list is ok. i'm surprised you've put synth1 so high considering that you describe your workflow as depending on presets a lot. that synth imo shines more when you come up with stuff from init because it's just easy to use in general. about synplant: idk if i'd say the moments where i wanna randomize parameters are always ones where idk what to do, but that synth in particular really doesn't make it very easy to tweak the sound. however i love about it how easy it is to dial in keytracked polyphonic detuning. that's something a lot of synths are sleeping on
Brilliant! Love ths video. But I do have too mention that metro boomin has said he started using flex and he likes it. Maybe you can do a video on FLEX for us. Also can you do a video on serum for trap/hip hop? It’s hard for me to find good banks for it. Cheers!
I think you should take another look at Hive 2. The UI could be overwhelming but it’s designed brilliantly. Give it some time and get used to it and you have one of the most versatile synths ever, extremely easy to use at the same time.
Need the plugin list!!
mr r2r ceo, can u help me with cracking east west play 6, i cant do it and im literally so mad cause that missing parts problem has been bothering me for such a long time i dont even try now more, but aybe youre the one who can help me wit dat shit
I think you really need to reconsider Reaktor 6.
I have a video called cubes on my channel.
I took a snare and turned it into a tonal spectral sympony comboned with a harmonic pitch altering vst.
Could you point us to some of those serum banks? Everytime i open the VST i instantly get triggered because nothing sounds good to me idk why. Same with Analog Lab tbh
Producergrind has some analog lab banks.
purity, serum, and nexus 3 are my fav ones tbh
Do a tier list on free VSTs
At this point i just use Vital, X!Pand, Kontakt and the Ableton stuff, I have a fair amount of FX plugins i use, most synths can do the same stuff so i don't see a huge point in having 7 wavetable synths in they all sound similar, except the Waldorf ones
next need to be sum effects
based on the amount of vst’s you have installed I gotta ask/know what cpu you have and how many storage drives you have in your pc n what sizes?…..or do you keep all your banks on externals?
I would be curious too. I just downloaded everything for Komplete 14 Standard. Over 500GB! My C drive is full, D drive is full and now E drive is almost full! Then he has all the other VSTs. Wow.
Yeah, if you're looking fore something to load and tweak presets on you're gonna have a real hard time with Reaktor. Reaktor is foremost a coding environment for building your own synths, so you gotta approach it more like Max For Live.
Absolutely on point as far as noting: Serato Sample, Synth1, FF-Twin and a few others. People HAVE overlooked these.
Xpand also sounds a LOT cooler than it looks.
but...
What about the ODIN II or the U-He Tyrell? Missed those on the list. Love those.
I was also confused why Phaseplant, Falcon/UVI Workstation and CUBE are synths that you have yet to experience.
These are the only ones that equal and outdo SERUM and OMNISPHERE at their own amazing job. (IMO)
Also feel like all what you said abot Serum is also true about Vital, which is free.
not to be snippy. Just to help others in products to peep-
I feel that XLN's XO deserved to be on there as well.
To answer your question about Kontakt:
It is extremely appealing and USEFUL to have such deep sampled instruments.
NI Drummer Series sounds JUST LIKE THE REAL THING.
Some people still want the real thing. and the ability to mix it in the OLD way.
to agree with you tho;
I AM sick of NI's @#$% & would like to endorse them less...
The LIbraries could probably be a LOT smaller..
--but still use Kontakt CONSTANTLY because there are just so many dope free libraries around.
The sounds available on Pianobook alone put Kontakt far ahead of Analog Lab, (For me),
which is a very small selection of presets per instrument/with no free libraries like Kontakt.
(Arturia is a BOSS brand though)
To be frank: I believe that a steady diet of:
Phaseplant, CUBE or Falcon/UVI Workstation OVER Omnisphere, Nexus & Serum (as sited in the video)
Combined w/ Cableguys Shaperbox or Instigator 2 = Instant Grammy in 2024. LOL, but kinda 4 real tho)
These tools alone are already WAAAAAAY more power or capability than most FL studio "Producers" can handle.
They don't jive well with producers by name only. Who want everything done for them.
These are pretty shitty tools for making a type beat.
In fact the opposite.
When you use these tools, YOU KNOW that you will not get a copyright infringement.
You also know that you built that all yourself. You didn't need sausage fattener, you drew your own sausage fattener
and THAT is the moral to this story. Not all of us want to sound like Skrillex or the weekend.
Serum & Diva make you sound like them incidentally. (LMAO)
This is not a hate rant. See for yourself!
Feed a basic sine wave or square wave melody, or beat you just made;]
into Multipass and Snapheap. Then create some chaos or ORDER
and use parallel mix knobs to fade the FX way in the back and then Apply somme Macros and SEE if you aren't making
the most incredible soundscapes ever. Almost by accident. Most of this can be done in your DAW. but I digress lol
moving on...
Foundations Nylon Strings/Echo Vinyl Guitar/Kalimba & MODO 60's BASS (ALL free)
Over Ample's FUll Guitar.
although Ample Guitar sounds great and I use it all the time too. good pick.
Ample Bass is also a HIT!
ARTURIA's Piano and Electric Keys/Analog emulations are the best of the best.
Second only to Maybe OMNISPHERE. but that's only IF:
you get the individual instruments that come with controls/OG FX
Analog Lab does not cut it. Not enough control or presets in the A Lab.
Although it's a GREAT little collection.
UVI Falcon/or UVI Workstation totally crushes it. Facts.
Spitfire Audio is also KILLING this particular part of the game with their PAID plugins but also the free ones are cool too.
The premium ones are out of this world!!! Also forgot to mention how great the AUGMENTED (Strings, Voices, Etc...) By arturia are.
Lastly, DO NOT overlook Kilohearts entire ecosystem. Phaseplant-THE BEST! Snapheap-BEST free FX EVER, period. Multipass: Simply the best.
I also feel that Logic's Alchemy, New Sequencer/Live-Loops, Free Tempo Recording, Etc... Belong on this list.
Logic is the best because it stole all the best aspects of Pro-Tools/Cubase- back in the day. Now it has taken Ableton's Warp, Live Loops, Sequencer and lots of other stuff. Looking forward till they take a bunch of ideas from Bitwig, Universal Audio, Slate and maybe even Studio One soon.
I know this started as a best VST but I really find myself relying on VST a lot less with all these powerful new features in Logic.
For those truly interested in the best of the best: Get Logic and/or a KIlohearts subscription ($10/mnth for everything!)
or maybe even Slate/UVI Workstation. They don't pay me to say so. I just wish they did. The FALCON and Phaseplant are not cheap.
However they are at the very tippity top of my list.
I hope that this opinion helps steer someone toward generating the style of sounds that they are seeking for.
Thanks!
hey can you be quiet

synth1 is really nice
serato sample is the closest you can get to an MPC workflow in FL studio
now i had to smile when i saw synth1
It’s so good bro
Xpand in A tier is generous man.
Sylenth1 B tier hurt me, but i understand your point
the Brace Belden of producer RUclips
No phase plant on here?:(
Is phase plant worth it considering they want you to spend another $400 on effects mods?
Uvi falcon can create all omnisphere sounds and more a more powerful version of omnisphere imo
Never used fl keys but based off all the hits that have been made on it I think it should honorable S tier
Where do i get the good serum Banks you talked about
3:30 (Ik u dont have the experience) but Falcon is Definitely S tier simply because of the fact that Bohemian Violin exists, look it up. It's BY FAR the best Digital Violin you can use and COMPLETELY destroys any kontakt bank I have ever used out of like 15-20 different banks and Falcon is currently being used more and more, especially thanks to macshooter, one of the sample gods and goats and it seems that cubeatz also secretly uses falcon (as well as philarmonik 2)
Looking to get Falcon what kind of presets are the best one in the vst? What is it mainly used for?
@@darealesttttt88 It's mainly used for organic / realistic sounds (imo it's a lot better than Kontakt banks) and there's also some more Synthy banks etc. I recommend just looking on RUclips for good Falcon Banks and listen to the sounds it has and then just get the ones u like most
It's definitely been my secret sauce for the past year and a half. Destroys Kontakt libraries imho.

Zenology the ultimate CPU crasher. I've used 4 omnispheres and worked well, but one preset change in Zenology could crash tf out of my laptop
Reaktor is an S-tier if you own Maschine MK3 - it solves almost any browsing and editing issue

serum quite literally deserves its own tier above S
U did omnisphere dirty 😂

Spectra Sonics will always be S tier. It's actually cheap when you consider how much you can do with their VST's
Man really put Nexus in S.
1:51 sylenth1 sound is just better than serum. It's like the difference between vital and serum but less difference in quality.
But for beats serum is better.

Strange to hear "Omnisphere has the best pads"
I'm really not amazed by them.
Unless you want to sound design with Omnisphere, I think the most allrounder reasonable choice for modern productions is still Analog Lab. Presets are straightforward, easy to edit, loading 3rd party banks is easy, IT DOESN'T CRASH AS OFTEN AS OMNI, and pretty much no weird presets like Omni has. Seriously, most omni presets are unusable for beats, even though it's a classic for trap beats, you can move much faster with analog lab
@@V1CCZ3XXomni shouldn’t crash if you have a legit copy and a decent pc, but yeah its not worth it for low end systems
