I can appreciate this tutorial but as someone with very hooded eyes I also think it's totally fine to acknowledge winged looks just aren't for everyone! At the end of the day if you like how you look without winged liner you do you! We're beautiful no matter what 💜
I love this technique. I heard it's called "the bat wing", which makes perfect sense. And amazing MUA here on YT (she is Dutch and she always filmed in English, but since she had her baby, she completely stopped filming in English 😭). Anyways, her name is Dilan Sabah and she has an amazing and in-depth video from about a year ago(I've checked - the precise date is August 21th, 2020). It's called "Hooded eyes? Overhanging crease? You can wear a winged eyeliner!!!" You should definitely check her out. It's this look, but a tad more... extensive and with some extra tips on how to hide that "bat" part. It's great. Just like you, Milana!!! Love from Croatia 💙
Thank you for doing a video on winged liner for hooded eyes My fiancé hates make up but loves the Wing . I tried to get help from a few counters and they straight refused . Tom ford at south coast plaza kindly helped me . I did practice on my own and got it down . You need a to sit down and use a vanity mirror that you can move closer . FYI I never had hooded eyes ( age did it ) I rocked the wing for years in the 90’s in high school and college and lost practice
Thank you for this! I’ve got hooded eyes and have always struggled to get a good wing with a liquid or pen liner. Last time I tried I found my old Charlotte Tilbury Khol liner so thought I’d give it a go and omg it was a revelation! Now with this as well hopefully I can perfect it!
Dramatic winged eyeliner looks so good on you! I’ve been using that trick for years since I’m often dressing vintage so eyeliner is a must but it’s hard with hooded eyes sometimes!
As a person with hooded eyes, I always struggled with my liner and chose to keep it very short, but yeah indeed it looks like nothing is there most of the time. Thank you for explaining the method, hope I can do it too but I don’t trust myself very much haha
This has been the best tutorial I’ve seen. You always have great ways of explaining. My problem now is to make both sides look the same. I guess practice makes perfect. 😊
This is exactly how a winged eyeliner looks on me. I have to do it very differently from the rest of RUclips influencers. Good to know we have the same type of eyes. We need more hooded eyed influencers to teach those of us with hooded eyes to do makeup based on our type of eyes shape.
I have very hodded eyes, if I would look like,e I would wear just black eyeshadow all over the lid. I only line the last third of my outer eye with a deep wing and stay very close and minimal at my lashes. When I get my eyeliner to my inner corner my eyes look super small and heavy.
@@TheBlakia I hear ya. That’s why I hardly do the wing. I might just do a very thin line as closest to my eyes as possible without any tips of any kind at end. And the times I have done a winged line, I don’t even bother to do eyeshadow because it gets lost lol
Keeping the liner really thin and close to my lashes is the best way I can wear my eyeliner. and you should do the wing really thin too, I used to scare to draw on the wing too, lol but practice makes perfect ;)
Thank you so so much for someone with a really hooded eyes I have been Excruciatingly frustrated With doing winged eyeliner and it looking awful like a hot mess I’m going to try this and hopefully I can look a little decent so that I don’t look so embarrassed going out
This the only way I can do a wing. I have hooded eyes and that’s only becoming more of an issue as I age. I agree, they both look good, but the left side is just a tad bit sharper. I like it!
I don’t know - I’ll give it a try, cuz I love the look, but 58 year old eyes don’t seem to agree! Thanks for the tip. Love you and your family to pieces!
I’m 60 and have hooded eyes and after practice I can make it work. I just started practicing at night before I was going to wash my face anyway. And when I do a wing, before I’m going out I do my eyes before my face so if I mess up I can wash it off and start over 😊
Your eyebrows always look so pretty. Im having a heck of a time with mine. I’m 57, hair is salt and pepper and now my eyebrows are getting grey in them and there starting to get thin. I have been using a dark grey eyeliner on my eyebrows but it’s just not working. Do you have any advice? Thanks
Hi, love you, your family and your professionalism and expertise given in away we can all connect with. I am 61, 62 in October. I've always had hooded eyes and have learned how to apply shadow just so. I cannot place a wing to save my life. Besides the hood, the skin around my eyes is, can't think of a word except, movable. I have to use fingers to try to keep the skin taught. 🙃 who knows, I may not look great with wings. I do love your videos and the family videos especially. You're both great parents!
Good trick, I was doing almost the same thing, but I was filling in too much! I don't wear make up much any more, but I want to do it correctly when I do.
I have hooded eyes also an just don't think the winged eyeliner looks good on me. I totally can't do it it just looks stupid. But looks nice in you!! Keep up the great work. Love all your types of videos
I tried this in the past many many times. But because my hooded eyes are quite severe, plus the eyelids are quite oily, it always ends up as a big mess, the liner transferring everywhere even though I used primer, powder, waterproof liner. I gave up years ago to have winged liner
I also struggle but I'll give this one a try. My problem is that my eyes are deep set so I have creases that people with simple hooded eyes don't. Worth a try but I don't have much hope it will look nice.
I cannot believe you have hooded eyes!! Your lids look normal, no skin over the low lid at all, especially when you apply eyeshadow. You can clearly see your crease; I cannot, eyeshadows, eyeliner are almost impossible for me.
I think most of the time it doesn’t look like her eyes are hooded because she’s raising her eyebrows. I think she has hooded eyes tho, you can tell because it does in fact look like her eyelids have a hood! Like in the thumbnail.
I can appreciate this tutorial but as someone with very hooded eyes I also think it's totally fine to acknowledge winged looks just aren't for everyone! At the end of the day if you like how you look without winged liner you do you! We're beautiful no matter what 💜
Once I realized how to do this for my hooded eyes, it made such a world of difference! I love the bat wing shape, especially when you look down!
Perfekt erklärt.
Bin gespannt ob es so bei mir klappt 🤭🤷🏽♀️
Just that simple makeup accentuates your natural beauty and really opens and brightens your stunning eyes
I haven’t wanted to wear a wing for a long time… now that I see how you did it, I definitely want to give it a try again!

Super! I love both eyes! 🤩
Thanks for sharing.
I think it looks amazing and not drippy at all. I’m looking forward to trying this
Thank you for this!! First eyeliner tutorial that seems like it won't get skewed on my hooded eyes

Looks great on you and came out just as well on me! Thanks for the technique and product info!

Super explanation and execuution! Going to try winged eyeliner one more time using your tutorial. I liked your first eye best btw.
This is an awesome hack, I also have hooded eyes, this will be perfect!💕
This has been the best tutorial I’ve seen. You always have great ways of explaining. My problem now is to make both sides look the same. I guess practice makes perfect. 😊
Both looks make your lid space look smaller, but are beautiful and elegant.
Thank you so much for sharing this makeup tip. Can't wait to try it 🥰
GIRL I NEEDED THIS💗💗

Fantastic. I have hooded eyes so I cannot wait to try this out 😁
Very, very beautiful!
This the only way I can do a wing. I have hooded eyes and that’s only becoming more of an issue as I age. I agree, they both look good, but the left side is just a tad bit sharper. I like it!
Me struggling for years to make eye makeup look good on my hooded eyes. Will definitely be trying this before a girls night this weekend 😊

It looks sooooo good! You are so talented with makeup 💄 👁
Cool name, Jessica! Are you subscribed to Jessica Braun? She's awesome.

Fluid was the word I meant.

Definitely going to try this!
Love this defo gonna try it.
I’m so tired tonight, but darnit, I’m going to go try it! 😁 thanks! Grandma Jennie
Thank you so much. I have hooded eyes and struggle with eyeliner all the time. I gave up
Hello! New to your channel. I’m loving your videos. Im looking forward to trying this too! Thank you 😊
I had an tv interview at work today. This saved my day today. I was struggling with my makeup 😂😂
Looks so good!
The video I've been needing! Thank you X
Going to try this tomorrow! X
Fun!!! Great job!
I’m going to try this thx!
I’m 60 and have never been able to master a wing, but I’m sure going to try this in the morning.
I agree. My upper lid hangs down and the black line make my eyes so small. It doesn't look good on me.
I’ ve done my eyeliner this way for 30 years…😁 and now I know I was genius! 😅🙌
Some people discover things( you). Others to the same stuff that doesn't work for years and or give up( most of us).
Thank you I needed to see this video I have hooded eyes ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'd have liked to see you do your usual technique on one eye, and the new technique on the other in comparison.
Nice. I knew that technique before but it’s going to be tricky to reproduce. I am not very good and precise with eyeliners 😅
Can you do a whole eye makeup look for hooded eyes?
Hi, I wish I could draw my Eyes liner like you do. Tried it so many times... Never looked right 😞
Smoked one I liked
What?!!! So cool... 😊

@@julieme7927 same with me, i have quite deep set of eyes and hooded too! Let me know if you have any luck!!
I think I have at least slightly hooded eyes. Kind of reminds me of Taylor Swift's look
Thanks Milabu😊
Is the eyeliner waterproof ?
I’ve been told that if you have hooded eyes you need to do the the tight line type of liner. I don’t look right with winged eye liner.
Fab on you x
So the right eye is more Smokey because you did that on purpose?
Hello!
7:22 My eyes are a little bit different too! :P
this type is called "angel eyeliner"
You are so beautiful 😍
I cannot believe you have hooded eyes!! Your lids look normal, no skin over the low lid at all, especially when you apply eyeshadow. You can clearly see your crease; I cannot, eyeshadows, eyeliner are almost impossible for me.
I saw this quite a while ago and they said the same thing it was like batman....🤣
I believe they are actually referred to as a batwing 🦇
I just think the wing liner is so harsh looking
Who is Victoria Beckham?
Former Spice Girls singer, and now she has a makeup brand. Also married to a famous soccer player.
I think the real skill here is when the baby cries , you don’t stab yourself in the eye! I have yet to master that skill.
I miss the kids 😪 ❤
Thanks to my oily hooded lids. This won’t work for me😭
Hmm, your hooded eyelids are not really very hooded. I don't see this working for some of us, but I'll try.
Por favor falar em português
That's not what I call hooded eyes... Those are just... eyes!
(Looks great though!!)
I think most of the time it doesn’t look like her eyes are hooded because she’s raising her eyebrows. I think she has hooded eyes tho, you can tell because it does in fact look like her eyelids have a hood! Like in the thumbnail.
I don’t see anything hooded either ..
Hey, I hope your husband's family in Ukraine is safe.
Thanks, but you definitely don't have hooded eyes (maybe a very minute amount but not enough to have a bid issue with it).
you do not have hooded eyes yet when you get older, they will be there.
Your eyes are not hooded at the corners. Mine are.
I wouldn’t say you have hooded eyes.
