    I'm still tryna figure out mentally how to draw a similar rhythmic pattern for the melody, those top notes and filler notes had a lot going on for me to keep up with lol
    You said " you already know step 2 is to highlight the 3rds and move them up one octave".
    Was there a prior video I missed explaining the reasoning for this?

      With guitar melodies, if you build them like piano chords they'll sound weird and not natural. If you take the third and move them up an octave, it'll sound more accurate to a natural guitar.

    Awesome job!! I also found that you can do the beat at half time so on (65 BPM) and leave the grid as normal!! To make the guitar melody faster you can consolidate your guitar loop and double time it too !

    im new to music theory, and i noticed the flute sounds VERY familiar to YOSEMITE by Travis Scott and i believe they can both be in the same key
