- Today after looking at the CRT stoppages I found out about a lock that had broken down the day before, which just so happens to be on the South Stratford canal, at lock 28, Lowsonsford. Which just so happens to be on our next cruise. And it isn't going to be a quick fix! It could take 3 months, which means that the entire journey through Birmingham, over 70 miles and 70 locks. Was pointless because now we can't get to the Stratford canal again! Meaning plans have to change big times...
