Has nothing to do with the big 12. You don't watch many games, or check national scores, do you? See my comments above. It's in EVERY conference, dude. College football is being dominated by offense, not defense. Review all of the scores from, 10-15-22.

This is likely an awkward transition period. Football in its complexity is of endless interest, and is unique in some respects. There are enough people working to solve the problem of reducing risk for TBI while keeping the game watchable that innovations likely will be made in order to prevent it from existing solely as an e-sport. In any event, the NCAA is on borrowed time. In the next decade, many stars from its two largest cash cows - D1 basketball and football - will likely abandon the system en masse for semi-pro or minor league systems. The NCAA, assuming it exists at all at that point, will be relegated to a developmental system for late bloomers, and others who want/need a second chance in general, and those who just aren't quite talented enough to turn pro by their early twenties (these three groups have a lot of overlap, but membership differs in sport-by-sport membership as well as individual motives and goals), much as it is already in baseball.

Low paid intern just doing it for a job vs hardcore fans. Same thing happened with the NBA. Their official highlights used to we wack or just really short leaving a lot out unofficial channels made them step their game up.

I think other people have been hearing KU fans say that their team is actually good this year, and these people misunderstand what we mean when we say good. "Good" doesn't mean we are going to win, it means lose by 10 points or fewer, and hey, if we do actually win then that's great, too. This team is halfway through the season and has won as many games this year than the last three combined.
Especially when you consider the fact that they were without Daniels, their star quarterback and we're facing an embarrassed OU team the week after they got shut out at the Red River!

41 points given up to KSU, 55 to TCU, 49 to Texas and now 42 to Kansas. When exactly is this defense that Venables was supposed to bring back to OU going to start happening? This might be worse than when Mike Stoops was here. Without Gabriel OU is a 10 loss team. Their only hope, much like recent years, is that the offense can hopefully outscore teams because they're just going to continue to get lit up.

I was at this game. The Kansas defense was absolutely atrocious. They gave up 700 yards. If 𝑻𝑯𝑨𝑻's the same Kansas defense that's played all year long, then I have no clue how they went undefeated so long.
They played mediocre teams, outside of Iowa State whose defense is really good, offense not so good.
Look at KU offensively in that game, they stunk.
This is still progress for KU.
In years past they would have lost to those mediocre teams. They would have been 1-5 instead of 5-1 coming in to this game.
@@yfna1 ku's offense has been their strength, and now their starting qb and rb are out so they're gonna struggle. They went toe to toe with tcu last week who beat osu today so they were playing good football for a minute.

The offense had a good game. Play calling is still conservative. The defense looked confused and still missing tackles not just one or two tackles but often three different OU players missing 3-4 opportunities in a row. Pass defense is not very good, to put it lightly.

Oklahoma may have the best uniforms in college football. If you consider the classic uniforms plus the alternates it's hard to beat their uniforms. The bring the wood were already amazing but adding a black uniform puts them over the top. Wait until a big night game where they are wearing those, it's going to be awesome

We have to seriously have to start investigating all commentors and referees, every game you watch both are so one sided. Commentors say the referees are letting them play, always at the right time to rig a game. They start calling penalties 99% to one team. Holding, offensive pass interference, blocks in the back, targeting alot of no calls every Saturday's. It's got so bad that college coaches are admitting to, teaching their players to cheat. Should they be doing all this to kids?

I'm just going to say it. Venables is a clueless the more I watch him. More and more he reminds me of Charlie Strong, he puts these kids in such cruddy positions by not able to get the calls in and clearly guys on the D don't know their assignments when they do. That's 100% on him.
We are over the moon about beating Kansas, at home, with a backup QB and a D on their end that couldn't stop a nose bleed. This is nothing to celebrate. If I'm a kid there's no chance I would consider this spot until they show they can competently get a play call in.
