    This is the exact example which is shown in the books when SHM is introduced. It is just that most students are not bright enough to grasp it at that time. But they surely feel good when they see it 40 years later on a RUclips video and think that it was the problem with the education system.

    The animation is quite laggy.

    • @AyushBakshi
      @AyushBakshi  Год назад

      Yes. It was rendered at 24 fps and if I remember correctly, Some parts' speed was reduced to 50% and in between frames are simply interpolated.

    In cos(π*t) what does π signify here at 0:05? Don't we write omega*t

    If it describes function with distance covered π in one period then is it still SHM?

      yes, why not? As long as its periodic its just SHM with a different time period

      @dishashiromani2586 Год назад

      @@n.rv..nnot all periodic motion are shm.
      Shm is a special case of periodic motion.

      @@dishashiromani2586 this kind of periodic motion as shown is a combination of linear and orthogonal SHM at different time periods

    how to create such animations ?? can anyone help me out, I want to make for my students so that they can visualize better.

    • @AyushBakshi
      @AyushBakshi  2 года назад +1

      The way I made it is using a 3D software called Cinema 4D. I'd basic knowledge of the tool and simple harmoic motion.
      So I found ways to plug that in the software. Added some color and lights to make this video.
      If you want to make visualisation videos there are many software faster, easier giving easier control on math part than a full fledged 3D software.
      I suggest starting with 2D visualisation. Using simpler software like Adobe After Effects.
      Thanks for watching my video! Share with your students too and keep doing the good work 😁
