Tried both. While Transalp has some good points (power, engine sound), it's not by a big margin. On everything else, the Vstrom is king... Only thing missing is cruise control damn it...
Hi! Thank you for all your videos! Did you have a vibration in the foot pegs at around 5000 rpm? (I had on a 800 DE I tried and in my opinion the vibration was prominent, VERY unfortunately a showstopper for me - not buying this model. Otherwise the bike was great in my opinion, handling, suspension, brakes etc. And the 800 DE looks and sound good too!)
@@motoraw Hi! Thanks for your reply! =). Yes, I would say that if the bike you ride had the same vibration as the one I test ride you would absolutely notice it around ca 5000 - 6000 RPM. It was quite prominent. I have also noticed it could be that some reviews and people report having no, or very little, vibration and others (like me) quite prominent. Take care! BR //M
Χωρίς να έχω μπεί στο χώμα με αυτό το ΤΕΝΕΡΕ θυμίζει πιο χωμάτινο μηχανάκι σε όλα του. Από την άλλη το VSTROM έχει πολλά ηλεκτρονικά που για πολλούς είναι πολύ θετικό και φαίνεται να έχει περισσότερο γκάζι. Ωραία ζυγισμένο δεν το έστριψα για να ξέρω 100% αλλά αφήνει ωραίο συναίσθημα. Σίγουρα το shifter είναι επίσης κάτι πολύ θετικό.
φαινονται λιγα τα 84 αλογα στο δρομο? ο μπροστινος 21'' τροχος δινει σαφη αισθηση 'η δεδομενου του πισω 17'' επρεπε να ειναι μικροτερος?[βεβαια για χωμα θα επρεπε ο πισω να ειναι μεγαλυτερος]
Είναι μια χαρά για τον δρόμο. Στο μεγαλύτερο ποσοστό των αναβατών δεν χρειάζεται κάτι παραπάνω. Η αίσθηση που δίνει γενικά η μοτοσυκλέτα στην άσφαλτο είναι πάρα πολύ καλή.
I have the same question. I've test drove both and each bike has positives and negatives. For me negative things on this bike is the vibrations on footpegs and the heat emitted from the engine. I'm also on verdict to purchase one of these two and I lean more on Transalp.
Reasons to buy a bigger bike are two: more hp and certain features only available on bigger bikes. If your main concern is weight, I'd choose the 800DE. If you don't mind the extra weight for more functions, I'd say the 1050XT. Either way, test ride both before buying.
Λοιπον, εχω οδηγησει και τα δυο. Το καθενα τους εχει υπερ και κατα. Αρνητικα για αυτο : Δονησεις στα πελματα των ποδιων στις 5000 στροφες, ειναι αρκετα εντονες και ενοχλητικες. Απορω πως η Suzuki δεν εκανε κατι για αυτο. Μου εβγαζε εντονη ζεστη απο τον κινητηρα μεσα στην κινηση. Και ειναι 230 κιλα ΑΛΛΑ εαν βαλεις πανω στο Transalp quick shifter, ποδιες, χουφτες κτλ στα ιδια κιλα θα φτασεις. Επισης στο 800 DE θες και μια ζελατινα αλλη για τον αερα. Το Transalp ειναι ποιο δυνατο ψηλα, αυτο εχει περισσοτερο αρπαγμα και ροπη απο χαμηλα. Μεγαλυτερο τιμονι αυτο, λιγο ποιο ασφαλτινο το Transalp. Αρνητικα Transalp : Η βασικη εκδοση ειναι γυμνη. Βαλε quick shifter, ποδιες, καγκελα, χουφτες κτλ θα περασεις την τιμη κατα πολυ. Ο δεικτης βενζινης στο Transalp ειναι τελειως αλλου για αλλου σε σχεση με την ποσοτητα βενζινης που εχεις μεσα, το γεμιζεις φουλ και πεφτει το πρωτο τουβλακι μετα τα 2/3 και μετα πεφτουν κατα ριπας. Δεν εχει fuel range remaining , ενω το 800 εχει. Δεν εχει θερμοκρασιακη ενδειξη αερα ενω το 800 εχει. Το Transalp οικονομικοτερο απο αυτο εαν το οδηγεις με το Engine Power στο low και χαλαρα μεσα σε πολη. Αυτο εχει ποιο χωματινο προσανατολισμο το Transalp ποιο ασφαλτινο. ΒΕΒΑΙΑ, Εαν καποιος αλλαζει αναρτησεις στο Transalp εγινε το απολυτο οπλο, αλλα ξεφευγουμε στα χρηματα. Επισεις στο 800 εχεις οπτικη ενδειξη λαδιου στο Transalp μονο με δεικτη. Αυτα, μπορει να ξεχασα κατι ισως, αλλα νομιζω οτι θυμαμαι το ειπα. Ποιοτητα και τα δυο πολυ καλη, Μade in Japan. Προσωπικη μου επιλογη ειναι μαλλον το Transalp αλλα οριακα και μετα απο πολυ σκεψη κατεληξα σε αυτο. Και οι 2 μηχανες ειναι οντως πολυ καλες και μετα ειναι και θεμα προσωπικου γουστου.

I didn't focus on that and I didn't feel something so bad, but I think if the foot pegs vibrating so much I would feel it.

Φαίνεται πιο δυνατό στην αίσθηση, αλλά δίνει γραμμικά σε όλο το φάσμα στροφών κάτι το οποίο δεν μου αρέσει πολύ για χώμα.

Έχει το swifter που μετράει καταρχάς. Από γκάζι το Transalp είναι αισθητά πιο δυνατό αλλά αυτό έχει καλύτερες αναρτήσεις.
