I enjoy watching a PRO at work, who doesn't cut corners, does everything correct "proper' as Guy Martin says... vs these RUclips clowns who rebuild these mashed up bikes, spot paint, paint the engine while IN THE FRAME...buy fasteners at the local Home Depot hardware store ..PAY ATTENTION !!!!
I have dabbled with bikes but they were never my thing, however i do admire them for what they are and the thrills they deliver. Your knowledge of all things related to vehicles, four wheels or two is exceptional Ricky. Attention to detail is a wonderful thing to watch.
Really coming on now Ricky, it's fanbloodytastic you know so much about all the supercars and the superbikes too and you don't seem to need to look twice what you are doing putting that all together. Great video! Keep them coming!
Enjoyed watching that mate, your bike videos have inspired me to get the spanners out and tinker with my Street Triple, just basic maintenance and stripping bits off to clean bits. I'm going to follow this all the way through. lost of great insights. Looking forward to seeing the finished article, bet Josh is going to be stoked!
Hadn't seen any of you work before but just watched all the R1 vids. Really like the way you work and all so the way you explain the tech side of things in a way that's easy to grasp. Be good to see Josh back out, will he be doing some club level stuff?
That stripped swing-arm looks trick! You guys have good success with K-Tech shock’s, especially on final laps? Never tried anything other than ohlins. Keep the bike stuff coming!
Yeah the swingarm does look good, we have done a few. For 95% of people the DDS will be fine. If you are that top level rider then the new through rod KTech Damper is a game changer as doesn’t degrade with heat. Ohlins is obviously a bench mark but I find them ever so slightly harder to get in the window, the TTX still suffers with heat deg.
@@REPerformanceUK Thanks for the info, here in Canada (not that many laps) we found if you changed the oil after every weekend, it helped a considerable amount on late lap control. Still had to have a click more at the start to compensate for the end and sometimes adjust riding, but with the pirelli’s we had to run, some of that was tires also. After 20 laps, it’s like riding on marshmallows… lol
Ever hear the joke about the Dad who let his son buy his dream car, a 2001 Audi S4 B5 quattro 6 spd twin turbo V6 LOL So glad.... we're talking RACING motorcycles... are not static non-folding foot pegs GREAT !! Just pop them into a stand --done deal... no jacking, flipping foldy pegs over, hanging the frame from the cieling...simple quick easy.....any S4 B5 V6 twin turb engine rebuilds maintenance videos available LOL ENJOY YOUR CONTENT !!!
Great to see a new bike build video...including Mrs E being part of the team..Great she is not a bike racing widow..🏍👍
Seeing that frame being built brings back good memories when I restored my 1990 ZXR750H2 seven years ago
Fab to see the bike coming back together for Josh, so looking forward to the next vlog. Well done Mr and Mrs E...

I’m not much of a car guy, but I had to subscribe when I saw you guys were working on bikes now!!
All of my favourite things on one channel, VAG cars, engine rebuilds, Motorcycles and tech talks, awesomeness!!
I'd love a set of OEM R1 rims for my MT10SP :D
Been waiting for this episode! Frame looks sweet and that swingarm looks factory! 🤩

Making it look easy. Artist at work.
More bike stuff please 😁👍 Tell us a lot about it. Hardly anyone knows it better than you. 😊
Loving the bikes, as a biker I'm biased tho! Loving more the Scary Movie and Dude where's my car? references!!
I love the bike bits ..
Keep up the good work man
I gotta great tip for installing bearings . Freeze them before installation. Makes them glide in .
Yeah I should buy a workshop freezer for that!!

Great vid bud. Remember to get some sleep now and then. X

L74 rear brake mount and axels would look great on this if allowed in the race series it enters
That special tool at 6:14 is called a big screwdriver🤪🤪

Reminds me of James May: The Reassembler
Really becoming a fan.
Great stuff dudes, I likey
Looking 👍, what make are the captive spacers your using?
Love the captive spacers! Where did you get them from? Mine are a pain as they aren’t chamfered like those! Super simple!!
Hi what is your plans for the old brake disc's as im in need of some genuine disc to replace my old warped ones ??
Great work. May i ask how many millimeters you machined out from the swingarm? Looking to do the same with mine
bikes over cars every day of the week
Looks good, very lucky lad indeed.
I really like yhe swingarm, how did u do it? Gotta put one in my 05 R1 & wouldn't mind having that done 😊
what brand are those rear sets?
Great video mate keep them coming ..I want to take my bike apart now 🤣...did you clear coat the swingarm are stripping it ?.
We brought the same heater 3 months ago. Do you run it on 1 or 2. We run 2😂. plus the added bonus of no more waste oil🤫
Surprised to see that no lubricant on nay of the threads.
Why would you lubricate the threads? You want them to stay tight.
What did Kate say??
Don’t upset the missus you won’t be getting any for a fortnight 😂
Be positive, nothing will go rusty...
I'd take a B3L over 2CR, BX4 all day long
Dump that standard header in the skip
mmmmm...bike
lithium......not RG2
