Good morning, Jason, thanks for another informative video. Don't forget me, we need a 1911 video in there somewhere. If you want maybe one in 10mm or if you have to, a 9mm. Keep them coming. Cheers from a very humid and wet Queensland this morning.
@The Texas Gun Vault Reloaded the thing is, I'm not at war yet so no. It's my favorite set up and I've had many classes and all day shooting events and it's been perfect. I'm a piston guy so I've made the decision to sacrifice weight for reliable. I shoot suppressed most of the time.
I actually believe this gun may one day become the AR-15 of the future. I've even featured it in this book I'm writing where the protagonist wields this very rifle alongside a P320 as his sidearm. This isn't necessarily because he likes the weapons however. Rather it's because in his world, the MCX Virtus is the service rifle and the P320 is the service sidearm of the Calivadan military. He's the unofficial leader of this ragtag band of individuals that consist of him as a former Army Ranger, a chick who's an FBI agent in the field (she comes in armed with a P90 and Five-seveN), a teenage boy who has a knack for computers, cars, and other hi-tech gizmos, a Nordic warrior, and an Elf sorceress. All five of them band together to fight an evil necromancer who is able to reanimate the dead en masse to fight for his nefarious cause.
@@thetexasgunvault Thanks. I'm not expecting this to become big into a video game even though video games are one of the strongest influences to the story I'm writing. However it's thanks to mods that I am able to make my custom-made characters in the video games I play (Fallout 4 and Skyrim). Alongside that, I am glad to see Sig Sauer get their due in media and in the military considering some video game shooters are actually featuring the newer Sig Sauer guns and the U.S. military now working with Sig Sauer to come up with the Next Generation Squad Weapons program. Though I also recently just bought my first Airsoft gun that's a MK18 Daniel Defense, I hope to one day have my Airsoft arsenal to be Sig Sauer guns. Particularly Virtus and P320.
A heavy gun is better for recoil control. I love this gun al lot. I am a sport shooter from germany, its a shame that this amazing gun is no longer produced in germany because of our horrible politicians...

Excellent and thorough review as always. The SIG MCX VIRTUS is one of the best rifles in the world and ultra reliable/indestructible.
Absolutely!
I just bought one... I was a 9" 300 blackout... I added a 16" 556 barrel. Both shot very well. I'm very impressed with the MCX.
They are! I think the Spear is the best version
@@thetexasgunvault well I have a 556 16" and a 9" 300 bo barrel.... I'm sure in the future getting a 7.62 spear shouldn't be a problem
Due to the weight, I chose the SBR version. I changed the flash hider to b&t A2 + rotex X silencer I recommend it.
Those Rotex silencers are sweet
How do you like the Rotex … I have one currently in jail?
Due to the wait, I chose both rifle and sbr.
It is a heavy toy no doubt.

I am uploading from library so you will start to see them soon!
With the NF atacr 1-8 and a kate moss stock these are amazingly flat and smooth and ultra reliable
Those NF scopes are amazing.
I have almost exactly the same setup. 16 inch virtus with razor 1×6 on it.
Do you find it to be heavy?

Very interesting concept. I hope it will be well received.

You said it it's heavy but it's worth every pound.
It is sweet
Got mine shoots like butter 👍 hold on to your check book it's pricey
Yes it is!
In the video the scope has movement, are the screws tightened?
Yes, I always double check them before filming.

I am sorry. Everyone here loves the German made SIGs.
Nice presentation as always big J. Not a fan of it... so call me a m4 fudd. In our girly military I see only a specific use of this beast.
I totally understand and get it!
I'll jump it up a notch and just call you a clown.
McX Spear 762x51 has a better modular lower
I would be interested in trying one out one day
You're a little late on the virtus platform huh
Yeah. I am uploading older videos as my old channel got removed in the Great RUclips Gun Channel Purge.
@@thetexasgunvault well that's lame. My bad I thought you were just getting around to reviewing it haha.
@@enb3810 yeah, sorry. I am uploading all my old content now. I have to rebuild what I had
@@thetexasgunvault no need to apologize, good luck
PMM makes a bad lever for it.
That would be awesome to have
@@thetexasgunvault they are. Run them on both my virtuses and the magpul version on all my ar's
