You're not correct. This is the tale that has been published in numerous books worldwide. An elderly woman and her grandson once approached Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Her grandson was consuming an excessive amount of sweets, she lamented. She requested the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to give the young boy some advice on the subject. A few days later, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) invited her to visit. He then told the youngster the following day that consuming too many sweets would be bad for his health. The woman questioned Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) about his lack of counsel the previous day. Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) replied that he was not elgible to advise the boy as he himself (Prophet Muhammed (PBUH)) was fond of sweets, and now he has controlled himself from eating much sweets.
