Hiccup: Yeah, let's leave the dragons forever, the world is not ready and Toothless will take care of them^^ Every other dragon living in a flock with a different alpha, every other dude he met in the serie and thaught to train dragon and that will keep living with them defending them and having the time of it's life without getting apart: Yeah... yes, sucks to live on Berk uh? Jokes apart, I love this movie, especially the idea of using a subspecie of Fury instead of going for the: "Yeah, we always said he was the last one but casually a girl of the very same specie is alive" trophe, especially since hybrids between subspecies are far more "realistic" than what would have come out from Toothless with any other female (another decsion I enjoyed: to not make him fall for the other female dragons there; as they presented these dragons as really intelligent and sentient being, they are still protrayed as animals with animal instinct that in some cases was pretty evident, it makes more sense for him to mate with someone that's closer to his specie like that Light Fury or one of those in the Hidden World... and how cute the Nightlights are?!😍), but honestly, they coulld have just kept their dragons with no problem, there weren't only those ones on Berk living around the world and it's pretty hard that only on Berk there are people who train them, I find a bit forced that they used the: "We don't deserve you and a random evil guy will pop up and try to fight us from time to time, go and hide until the world it's ready" to make them leave. I'm not saying I don't like the ending, I find all of this movie magnificent, but I think even some other bigger reason to make all the dragons go away would have been good, 'cause they can perfectly fight human threats and even dragon ones and they won't surely be around searching for every living dragon to tell it to go and hide, just like not everyone else that has one will listen to them (don't want to mention again those appeared in the series, even if the episodes matched the movies pretty well in many occasion, there aren't only those characters around)
*There are dragons too that for them is difficult to go to the hidden world (or directly can't), like the whispering deaths, for that things the sunlight is hurtful, how are they gonna fly kilometres of sea with sunlight? There are dragon too that don't have wings and just walk on water, they can't just run kilometres of sea too, they are just able to run jumping island to island*
Grimmel is what Hiccup would've become if he'd killed Toothless. His eagerness to prove himself to his father and continue hunting dragons would've lead him to similar discoveries and ingenuity. Drago used dragons as machines of war, but Grimmel uses his inventions and only the few dragons absolutely necessary to continue hunting down and exterminating them. 28:04 - And in the end, what let Hiccup get the upper hand on Grimmel (both metaphorically and physically) was his willingness to befriend dragons. Trusting the Light Fury lead to her saving him, and detaching his prosthetic leg (which he only had because he saved Toothless) was what kept Grimmel from clinging to him.
There's a cute 20 minute special called How to Train your Dragon: Homecoming that you could react to or watch in your own time. I think it's set before the end scene in HTTYD 3 where Hiccup takes his kids to see Toothless. I recommend it :)

Sophie, did you know that there's a Secret Kung Fu Panda series called "Kung Fu Panda Paws of Destiny"? I haven't watched it yet but it sounds very cool.....(Reaction series of it maybe?)
If you haven’t seen Bee Movie, you should. I can’t say it’s good but it will make you question life. It’d be funny to see your reaction on it Btw, I’m relatively new to your channel but so far, I’m pretty on board with it for your reactions alone
There's a 20 minute video like OVA for this movie, it's when the toothless family visiting hiccup. And there's going to be the 4th movie, but it's take place like 100 year after this series maybe? I forgot, but it's already announced...
Snotloud crushing on Hiccups mom is even weirder because in the books he is Hiccups cousin. The movies change a lot from the books but I still think it was an odd choice given the source material and that it serves no real purpose in the movie. Other comments are saying the creators didn't intend it to be a crush and more wanting her validation because he see himself as her pupil for some reason, they executed that pretty poorly tbh.
I remember seeing this move in theaters and being sad, but I didn’t cry at the theater, but boi when I got home I broke down cuz I *love* this franchise!!!! I love dragons a lot and this just broke me to pieces Xd
Not many movies can make me cry. I’m stone faced while watching titanic. But this movie here, makes me cry like a baby. It’s probably due the fact I watched all the shows and movies on release and httyd 1 was my fav film growing up.
@29:05 There are 3 animated short films. The first two (Legend of the BoneKnapper Dragon and 'Gift of the Night Fury) take place between the events of the first two films. The 3rd short (How to Train Your Dragon : Homecoming) takes place around 10 - 15 years from when we see the wedding in the 3rd film and the reunion at the end. All 3 shorts are around 30 minutes in length. There is also the Tv series Dreamworks Dragons (8 seasons in total) with most of the actors in the first two movies reprising their roles in the show (only exceptions that I can tell are Stoick and Gobber ) which is unusual because most of the time most of the time the voices would be replaced by sound-a-likes trying their best to imitate the original. But the voice work is just as good in the series as is the films.
I watched this movie when it was first out in theaters. I didn't give af about being in a theater with a bunch of people, the ending made me ball my eyes out. I was still crying as I left the theater with my friends.
If you think about it, Grimmel is basically what Hiccup could have been if he had been just a little less compassionate towards Toothless in the first film.
If you look at the left at 25:06, it looks like the dragon that was in how to train your dragon 2. The one whose tooth got broken by toothless Edit: Reaction was amazing : D
When this was still in the cinemas back in early 2019, I saw it in 4DX so every significant movement on-screen was replicated through the seats moving...... so imagine my suprise when 4:02 happened...I was like wHAt
9:43 others: No toothless don’t fall for it it’s a trap Me: OMG she’s so cuuuuute Also, toothless and light fury are hands down one of the best couples in an animated movie
I didn't catch it until this-the third movie-but Toothless-his head and face looks like the Japanese monster Gamera. Gamera is a contemporary of Godzilla, but they've never met because they are owned by different companies. Gamera is always a "good guy" who fights on behalf of Japan against monsters.
What I wanted in the movie was they should have gone to every known place in the entire franchise collect every singe species and population of dragons along with allies and the bones of dragons and certain other things in the world and then send it all to the hidden world but every few times a year berk would visit the hidden world and sometimes the dragons would visit berk
There’s like a small movie/tv series about Hiccups kids. It’s a cash grab just like the old tv series that takes place between 1st and 2nd movies. Not worth the time really. Does have a few cute scenes exploring Astrids and Hiccuos relationship.
17:00 "They're just gonna squander all of their resources, and I bet they don't have many left" You mean... like... wood to build the buildings...? In the middle of the woods...?
Btw when you asked if there is another movie there is only 3 but thereis a tv show called the nine realms which continues the story of these movies but 1,300 years after

There is another short - How to Train Your Dragon: Homecoming. You should also watch Gift of the Night Fury, Riders of Berk, Defenders of Berk and Race to the Edge.
If you enjoy dragons that much, then I really recommend watching the two series. They are the same animation, they introduce a lot of cool caracters and the old caracters get great development. On series is about when the are young and thd other one plays right before the second film
14:35 Actually, I would have loved it if the movie had shown us that there is no hidden world. You cannot run away from the problem or you can keep facing it head on until most of the world gets convinced of your stance. It would have tied in well with the fact that there is a possibility that the Vikings had accidentally discovered America (there have been instances of Viking runes being unearthed in North America).
Grimmel is made to be the polar opposite of Hiccup. Grimmel is essentially what Hiccup wouldve become if he decided to kill toothless in the first movie. just a fun fact
I believe Hiccup died in the first movie when he was knocked off of his dragon knowing Toothless can't fly without him or that tail that burned off. Everything that happened after Hiccup wakes up like meeting his dead mother, uniting vikings and dragons, setting all dragons free and becoming chief all takes place in his death. Notice his dad even tells Hiccup hot proud he was when he went to do battle with that huge dragon and faced death doing so. Hiccup killed the dragon like his Dad always wanted, but it cost him his life.
Stoick told Hiccup that he was sorry for everything and that he was proud to call him his son because he realized how wrong he was when we saw the Red Death come out and torch his entire fleet in one breath. He realized that Hiccup was right and that he should've listened to what Hiccup was saying, and for that he was sorry. Toothless' skin is essentially fireproof on the outside, so if he reached Hiccup in time and wrapped him in his wings like that, it'd protect Hiccup from the fire.
I think you are not giving the villain enough credit. Yes, he may use dragons, bute the tactics come from him, hes good at shooting and good at hunting even without.
The way they bond with dragons is how i bond with cats (which Im allergic to) So far...it works quite well.... Astrid is that cliche female vice captain role who really should be the actual captain but is vice captain cuz the main protag is a male character, just like in ratatouille, but it 'works' just for the formula. She's needed to keep everyone in line so when she puts her foot down, they listen to her. Usually. Just like when dad isn't home and the mom says "wait till I tell father/wait till father gets home" and the kids get scared. Mom and women have all the power in shopping/money and in the relationship or in dating these days. And people don't realize it cuz of neo-feminism. 7:35 in the tv show there are all kinds of plants, some make dragons crazy, high like cat weed, or poisonous in the sense that it paralyzes them. 9:00 his map has a rock (paperweight) on it so it won't blow away : ) 12:30 the thing about the adult world is, you fight with intellect, ideals and ideology, and philosophy. Its like a battle of the gods and the most power. The most powerful do not fight physically, they fight long distance or fight the battle of the minds. 15:20 People in the 1400 and even long before that, already knew the earth was round actually, esp those who crossed the sea. 18:44 Toothless never learned how to do the ritual/mating dance, kinda confusing cuz usually you'd think they'd know naturally but sometimes, animals have to watch to pass it on socially o-O 29:00 there's a special Homecoming special and a christmas special about everyone's kids.
The best. trilogy. ever.
Lord of the rings is the best in my opinion but this is my 2nd favorite

Ohhh XD 16:40 I don't think i noticed that before but when Snotlout (? Is that his name? I have an excuse tho I know he's called Rotzbacke in german) says TWO, he holds up THREE fingers.
Small detail but also hilarious
Hiccup: Yeah, let's leave the dragons forever, the world is not ready and Toothless will take care of them^^
Every other dragon living in a flock with a different alpha, every other dude he met in the serie and thaught to train dragon and that will keep living with them defending them and having the time of it's life without getting apart: Yeah... yes, sucks to live on Berk uh?
'they dont act like grown ups'' they are 21, they're kids!
16:38 he holds up 3 fingers when he says #2 lol
The white fury didn't even know she was used as a bait, she never was on their side
While Hiccup and Astrid are literally *getting married!*
Sophie: “did someone die?”
There's a cute 20 minute special called How to Train your Dragon: Homecoming that you could react to or watch in your own time. I think it's set before the end scene in HTTYD 3 where Hiccup takes his kids to see Toothless. I recommend it :)
This girl is so relaxing to watch, Sophie you are the most relaxing movie reactor ever. you never dissapoint me with your vids and I know other fans have the same opinion
❤️❤️
Sophie, did you know that there's a Secret Kung Fu Panda series called "Kung Fu Panda Paws of Destiny"? I haven't watched it yet but it sounds very cool.....(Reaction series of it maybe?)
If you haven’t seen Bee Movie, you should. I can’t say it’s good but it will make you question life. It’d be funny to see your reaction on it
Btw, I’m relatively new to your channel but so far, I’m pretty on board with it for your reactions alone
There's a 20 minute video like OVA for this movie, it's when the toothless family visiting hiccup. And there's going to be the 4th movie, but it's take place like 100 year after this series maybe? I forgot, but it's already announced...
i have never heard of another movie, only that there is only gonna be 3 films and that was it
Snotloud crushing on Hiccups mom is even weirder because in the books he is Hiccups cousin.
It’s probably due the fact I watched all the shows and movies on release and httyd 1 was my fav film growing up.
you can watch How to Train Your Dragon: Homecoming is continuation on hidden world Christmas edition
I'm just glad they never showed the full Viking wedding, yeah I read up on what that entails 😳
*”He licked her forehead... This is, like, the best date ever.”*
Weirdest sentence lol 😂
This is one of my favorites movies ever, it's just so beautiful... cried like a baby
about the end there- theres a new show 1300 years after this movie called The Nine Realms, debuting this december
There is a sequel half an hour mini movie! It’s called how to train your dragon homecoming
Why do I love this reaction to much!?
If you look at the left at 25:06, it looks like the dragon that was in how to train your dragon 2. The one whose tooth got broken by toothless
Edit: Reaction was amazing : D
I teared up just as much as you did!! This had me very emotional!
Best ending to a great trilogy ! How to train your dragon is a awesome franchise !
When this was still in the cinemas back in early 2019, I saw it in 4DX so every significant movement on-screen was replicated through the seats moving......
so imagine my suprise when 4:02 happened...I was like wHAt
😂😂
This will be my favorite trilogy ever and will be forever
There are two Christmas specials that are really good, they're short 30-minute movies, you have to see them and they're canon.
9:43 others: No toothless don’t fall for it it’s a trap
Me: OMG she’s so cuuuuute
Also, toothless and light fury are hands down one of the best couples in an animated movie
Light fury is the most beautiful creature I've ever seen
I want to be as beautiful as she is 😭😭😭
Same!
"Creepy guy" looks like Rob Zombie's little brother from "When world's collide"
I know I’m eight months late to this reaction, but your reaction at 30:05 was honestly cuteness overload! No need to apologize. :)
What I wanted in the movie was they should have gone to every known place in the entire franchise collect every singe species and population of dragons along with allies and the bones of dragons and certain other things in the world and then send it all to the hidden world but every few times a year berk would visit the hidden world and sometimes the dragons would visit berk
14:32 That's exactly what happened. Vikings were the first Europeans to discover North America.
I most say my faverite villian from this universe is from the shows which are so good
Fun fact: tooth less is an *axolotl*
Sophie: I’m so mean
Me: you always were
There’s like a small movie/tv series about Hiccups kids. It’s a cash grab just like the old tv series that takes place between 1st and 2nd movies. Not worth the time really. Does have a few cute scenes exploring Astrids and Hiccuos relationship.
17:00 "They're just gonna squander all of their resources, and I bet they don't have many left"
You mean... like... wood to build the buildings...? In the middle of the woods...?
Btw when you asked if there is another movie there is only 3 but thereis a tv show called the nine realms which continues the story of these movies but 1,300 years after
Fun fact: This movie came out on my dad's birthday and this movie his favorite out of the trilogy
This movie make me cry like i love the movie Pls make a part 4
That rumble horn Grimmel shot a arrow at was just sleeping, he didnt die
Just watched all of your reactions to the How To Train Your Dragon series and all I got to say I LOVE these Movies they are just Phenomenal everything about them and all I got to say when I first watched this and even to this day st the end I really wanted to cry because I don't know if they are going to make another one I'm hoping they do but not sure, I also would like to say Toothless kids are so ADORABLE I need one! The next movies you should check out are the Wreck-it-Ralph movies because I just got to say one of the best Disney movies ever they are Amazing!
Anyways I can't wait for more Content from you and I hope that you are doing well and staying safe and healthy!
P.S. Is it just me or does Grimmel kind of remind me of Voldemort just shave his head, cut off his nose and he'll be good! 🤣😂
Me and my brother only watched this once because we both almost cried at the end but I still love this movie😭😭🙂
Watch the series if you like the movies for more detail
29:28
"promise me you're gonna make some babies and come back. for holidays maybe?"
How to Train Your Dragon: Homecoming (2019)
At the beginning where grimmel shoots the big dragon, he didn’t shoot it with an arrow it was a tranquilliser dart 🙂
@zoorockf1 the rumblethorn was literally breathing after he shot it. If you're gonna "correct" me at least BE correct 🤣
Sees misty smog like fog. Assumes London very accurate
i ve just realized The Boss Dragon from part 2 appeared at 25:03
Had the same reaction at the ending in the theatres and I was the only person crying so I feel your pain
The light fury's name is luna
Like the moon
"Demons have skinny legs"
Welp I am a demon I suppose
There is another short - How to Train Your Dragon: Homecoming.
You should also watch Gift of the Night Fury, Riders of Berk, Defenders of Berk and Race to the Edge.
If you enjoy dragons that much, then I really recommend watching the two series. They are the same animation, they introduce a lot of cool caracters and the old caracters get great development. On series is about when the are young and thd other one plays right before the second film
14:35
Actually, I would have loved it if the movie had shown us that there is no hidden world. You cannot run away from the problem or you can keep facing it head on until most of the world gets convinced of your stance. It would have tied in well with the fact that there is a possibility that the Vikings had accidentally discovered America (there have been instances of Viking runes being unearthed in North America).
She went invisible in the cage, that's why they didn't know she was there in the beginning
Grimmel is made to be the polar opposite of Hiccup. Grimmel is essentially what Hiccup wouldve become if he decided to kill toothless in the first movie. just a fun fact
It's a good reaction! Got to admit the part where the twin sister is annoying grimmel to death is hilarious.
Toothless' skin is essentially fireproof on the outside, so if he reached Hiccup in time and wrapped him in his wings like that, it'd protect Hiccup from the fire.
fun fact drago animal is in the hidden world u see him in the back of the scene where toothless is crowned king
BEST TRILOGY EVER!!!!!!!!
you noticed drago's bewilderbeast
Snotlout: “who died and made you chief?”
Me: Stoick!
I love Snotlout and Hookfang! He’s my favorite dragon! So majestic!!!
Me in cinema at the end: 💔😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Me two years later: 💔💔😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I think you are not giving the villain enough credit. Yes, he may use dragons, bute the tactics come from him, hes good at shooting and good at hunting even without.
The way they bond with dragons is how i bond with cats (which Im allergic to)
So far...it works quite well....
9:00 his map has a rock (paperweight) on it so it won't blow away : )
12:30 the thing about the adult world is, you fight with intellect, ideals and ideology, and philosophy. Its like a battle of the gods and the most power. The most powerful do not fight physically, they fight long distance or fight the battle of the minds.
15:20 People in the 1400 and even long before that, already knew the earth was round actually, esp those who crossed the sea.
18:44 Toothless never learned how to do the ritual/mating dance, kinda confusing cuz usually you'd think they'd know naturally but sometimes, animals have to watch to pass it on socially o-O
29:00 there's a special Homecoming special and a christmas special about everyone's kids.
There is a new series return how to train your dragon-hiccup relative becomes a raider and teaches other to fly.
WHAT A PERFECT ENDING!
Did someone else saw that Draggo's (whatever the name of the second villian was) alpha dragon was in the hidden world?
Looooool jajaja im in my english class, but i will learn more with your video, YEAH 😎✨🇲🇽
(and jajaja again early in comentarys jsjs owo)
4:41 I think she saw Spitelout as Snoutlout
Please please react to Dragons Race To The Edge! I know you’ll love it!(it takes place 2 years before the 2nd movie)
Sophie is been acting sarcastic in this entire reaction
