The light on the trees, and leaves floating to the ground, and the whole area illuminated by the lanterns was AMAZING. The colors were a sight for sore eyes. This midwest, farm girl, misses her autumns back that way. Thank you for taking us all along for the adventure Joe!
I'm fifteen minutes in and just realized that I've been grinning the whole time. I've checked RUclips for this video about four times a day for the last four days. Yahoo! In a whacky and wild 2020, this Duck Camp - The Movie video is one of the few constants anymore. And Deer Camp - The Saga is only about five weeks away. The end of the year is looking better already. Thanks, Joe and fam.
I made a promise to myself to be like Joe during hunting season for my 3 kids. My dad wasn’t a hunter but i just know that they will cherish the memories we make. I love waking my crashed out kids in the morning a 2/3rds of them are super stoked to get into the woods with me. One isn’t excited unless it’s an afternoon hunt but I will gladly take that!
Make it fun, always have more than enough food and snacks and let them be themselves. Get pissed if something is unsafe but after that let things go back to relaxed. They will feed off of your excitement. Either they like it or not. If the one just likes afternoon hunts then that is what they will do. You sound like you are doing a perfect job. Memories that will last a lifetime and beyond.
There is something so primal and relaxing about fire-places. To see you all sitting around one, enjoying the company of one another... it seems so right. Those that never leave cities can never know that peace of mind and the 'rightness' of life as one does that can and does visit the wilds of the world. Thanks Joe and family.
NICE!! "Family traditions". Thank you for sharing! THIS is the fabric of our nation! Your kids will cherish these videos! Actually, your Great Grand kids, will cherish these as well!!!
Joe, Sarah & Zach, plus Mr. Joe (Dad), thank you all for sharing what seems to be solemn tradition with the rest of us. I can’t tell you what hunting camp must’ve looked like when my dad was a young man, with all of his friends and brother, too. You are lucky your siblings enjoy one another enough to go duck hunting together. I hope Zach or Sarah remember your Grandpa’s lamp after it changes hands. What a nice film every fall, guys. Thanks.
My first duck hunting trip! Loved it! Sweet generational family gathering with grandpa lantern was precious. Ah, man the autumn foliage falling and the sound of the wind blowing was just beautiful. Sara is a firepower pro! She handled the kick back blast like slicing butter. Not a flinch. It is always great to see both Joe and Zach together no matter what the occasion. Dad well he is the icing on the cake. Love to see him and how the skills and tips his dad taught him he has passed it on to you as you are passing on to your children. The odds are 100%+ the tradition will continue with each new generation. Thanks for taking us along. I enjoyed every second. This year with all that has been going on makes seeing family gatherings extra sweet as the seasons continue to change.
Sitting here at 5am Sunday.. just made myself a bowl of cereal.. wife is sleeping.. just going to give this a like before watching it 😎 my Sunday morning just got better, cheers Joe!
I gave a premature "Like" as well, lol! The seasoned watcher knows that is the best way to start the show. 🎥 Especially, when you see the watch time is over an hour! Yes! 😷 ⏳🙋🏽 I rushed and made myself a big cup of hot chocolate🍵🥜 with Nestlé Hazel Nut Creamer. I quietly nuggled under the red and black flannel blanket as to not awaken four nosy👀🕵️, noisy grandkids📣📯🎺🔊🥁🎆 with a thousand questions. 🗣️🙆 I just need to enjoy the movie 🎥 ALONG and in peace✌🏽 and quiet plzzzzz! 🔇 When all was clear I made that transitional autumn foliage escape 🛣️🛤️🏞️ to the🦆 🏕 campsite. Of course near the gulf coast region 🌡️☀️ the air conditioners and fans are still at high settings. So, I really needed to set my fake 🍂northern 🍁 fall 🌧️🍁🌦️🍂🌧️atmosphere. I can honestly say, that was the most relaxed and at peace I have been all year. This was truly The Great Escape from the long 2020 wait for some taste of normalcy from the incredible losses and praying for a cure. I forgot about everything and felt right at home again. I noticed from the beginning of the movie to the end of the 🎥 movie I never stopped smiling. A big cheesy smile. 🤗🍁 🍂 🍃 Thanks Joe! 😷 🙋🏽
I need to start a tradition off with my kids... My oldest is now 9 and loves hunting. Thinking I'm going to start next year with her, then the rest of the kids as they get older. Great video. Love the movies every year.
The sound of the rain on the tent is my favorite part second only to “Sarah, it’s 4:30; time to wake up”. I think it would be humorous if for once she woke before you and had to wake you Joe!
Jo that's awesome that you still all hunt together still. Next time tell Sara it 6:00 where late I'm going. HE HE HE. LUV YOU ALL. THANKS FOR TAKING US ALONG. .
Reminds me so much of hunting ducks with my dad when he was alive Now my sons and I are making our memories hunting together.I love watching your videos thanks for making them.
It's really nice to see your dad still out hunting with you. He's a real cool guy. It reminds me of my past hunting trips. Family & friends having a good time.
Mr. Joe it sure was good seeing all the family together maybe next year Miss. Melissa will be able to be there. Your dad sure is doing great after what he has been through the last few years, these videos will be gold to you in the years to come. It seemed your dad was really happy and was in the video more this year. Thanks again this video was good for me. !!!!! GOD Bless Everyone !!!!! James and Judy Hopper Romans 6:23
"Sarah, its 4:30, time to get up". She even had her own tent setup inside Joe's tent! Joe, I enjoyed the entire video but the part where you lit the red lantern for grandpa was really cool. Another great video, Thank you. 🙂
My favorite video of the year. Just had my 33rd straight opening day yesterday. Have had my son along for 3 of them so far. He’s exactly 30 years behind me and I told him he can never miss a opening day!! Great job Joe thank you for the hard work!!
Love the opening of you dad in the Canoe you bought from him. You can tell it was the old 8MM Film. I have a bunch from my dad and his bear hunts firm the late 60,s & early 70’s those were the days!!! Old time camping when pop ups were rich people lmao. Joe it’s so great your doing this. I wish I would have but now I’m like your dad I’m just grandpa.
I look forward to your duck season, because that means deer season few weeks away .. it’s Awesome how you honor your grandfather every year. I’m glad pops was able to go this year, I know y’all enjoyed having him there . Stay Safe & GodBless
How sad it was when I heard Joe say "it's time to break camp". How many other folks immediately go watch past year's duck and deer hunting videos again right after finishing this one?
It is so awesome that your children & father share your hunting trips. So many families have different interests and don't share activities. I envy your closeness with your children!!
As someone who grew up next to a swamp and couple ponds you could definitely tell when it was duck season. Good memories. Before you know it Joe and everyone will be up at the tent for deer season.
In his prime, he would have been a priceless addition to the hunt this year. Once he got on a ducks scent, he would not stop until it was back in the canoe.
38:10. Right after Dad said “I officially can’t hit nothing” lol Sarah shot towards a duck and Joe was looking the other way Sarah reloading a duck 🦆 flew right down but once hit the rice 🍚 well.... that duck smart lol Sarah is a Beast. Love seeing Duck Season our entire family sat down and had movie 🍿 night with Duck Season 2020!! Love from N.C. Nichols Family♥️🙏🏼♥️
I love it all! Joe you work no matter where you go! Gonna get me a t-shirt that says "Sara its 4:15, Sara its almost 4:30! Love ya Sara! Get them Duckies!
Thanks for another great video. Sometimes it's not about the hunting, but all the great memories that one creates! Something im teaching my kids about. Cant wait for the deer hunting video. Thanks again!
That was cool. Ms. Sarah needs an alarm that goes off saying, "Sarah, Sarah it's 4:15 time to get up" and then again "Sarah, Sarah, it's 4:30 time to get up." Seems I heard that in the deer hunting video as well. LOL
Sara your dad has a great sense of humor and very patient 👍👍! All those shotgun fire sounded like July 4th celebration. ducks for dinner all winter long! Lol 😆 thanks for sharing 👍
That was very enjoyable thanks for letting us tag along you guys eat well where ever you travel, Joe's chuck wagon. Really nice to see 3 generations getting together camping hunting and just having fun.
I'm just 9.5 minutes into "the movie" and I have to pause and say, "Sarah, we've missed you!" It's going to be great to see the old crew back together. Sorry Melissa and Samantha couldn't make it, but I'm pretty sure there will be a "next time"! This is such an awesome tradition. I hope you enjoy it, we sure love getting to stay dry and watch all of it. God bless.
So glad with the way 2020 is going that you guys had an awesome Duck Camp this year !! Nice to see everyone having a good time and ducks harvested. Always enjoy the hunting videos that you take the time to make for us !! Stay safe and get ready for Deer Camp !!!
I'm here with you joe and Sara and zach . I always go duck hunting with you every year. All I can say is " Good Luck Everyone " I hope you get more ducks than you can carry home.
Hey joe - thank you for posting this.....Sunday highlight. So pleased to see your dad back to his best after surgery last year. Love to all your family 🙏👏👏
The light on the trees, and leaves floating to the ground, and the whole area illuminated by the lanterns was AMAZING. The colors were a sight for sore eyes. This midwest, farm girl, misses her autumns back that way. Thank you for taking us all along for the adventure Joe!
Absolutely agree Paula! I was also raised in the Midwest. Now living in Las Vegas. The weather and foliage were greatly appreciated in this video!
@@shugardad I love the high humidity foliage. No comparison!

Joe, the little things you do that show your thoughtfulness are so endearing. Like how you remember and honor your grandfather.
In memory of Grandpa, and setting up camp are my favorite parts.
Yes it’s a great part of the movie.
I’ve copied his move it’s such a great idea. Thanks Joe
Brought a tear to my eye
Haven’t even started to watch ...big thumbs up ..already ..
With great fanfare, and a big tin of popcorn, I sit for the epic movie!

Yet again another brilliant movie. Keep up the great work.
I remember when I was younger my dad or my grandfather would wake me up for hunting, now I’m waking them up lol

I’m a small town lady with no experience with the outdoors, and I absolutely love watching these movies.
I know an Abe Yoder
Every year when I watch the duck hunting video I miss hunting in upstate NY. Best of wishes and to the family

I've never heard of Duck Camp before !!! Awesome
My favorite time of year! I’m just here for the “Sara, It’s 4:30. Time to wake up”😂
I would have loved it if Sara had said, “But Dad, it’s only 4:15. Give me 15 more.” 😊
God bless you and your family. This is great old family time.
Very nice story I felt like I was there enjoyed it very much. I love to see the generations doing things together.

Best Duck Movie yet. Love you keep the family traditions alive. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Joe & Family. This meant more than you know. Our family hunt camps are a memory now.
Good on you joe .that is a great way to remember him
Awesome way to remember your grandfather. 💕
Can’t wait for deer hunting 2020 the movie

So great to see everyone back up at duck camp. Loved seeing Zach and Sara spending time eating and talking with grandpa.
That was great that Melissa came along and a great helper too! I like the tradition of lighting the lamp in honor of your grand father
Melissa wasn't there. I think you're referring to his daughter.
Melissa did not come up to duck camp. The female in my Tent is my oldest child. My Daughter Sara.
@@JoeandZachSurvival Yeah, I should have deleted that because as I watched I figured it out. ooops!
You are the best! Lightening that lantern for your grandfather!! Im all about that!! Thank you!!

Not always.... when she's deer hunting at "the tent" she's usually sleeping on a pull out bed in the livingroom.

@joeandzachsurvival this is the best duck movie you've made so far. they are getting better each year
32 mins into it and I heard it for the first time---"SARAH, ITS 4;15 TIME TO GET UP" Your signature script LOL
Thanks for another great video. Sara great to see you. Joe thanks for Sara its 4:15 time to get up. Love and Hugs from Sapulpa Oklahoma
Great seeing your Dad at camp love seeing the cool stuff he makes that's why he has the cool tent lol
One of the saddest sights EVER: breaking camp. Thanks for sharing!
"Should i clean these ducks?" Man, Sarah's boyfriend is one lucky s.o.b. to have such a beautiful young woman say those words!!!...
All the videos i have watched i have not seen her boyfriend!!!!
32:41 “Sara? It’s 4:15. It’s time to wake up.” If I was Sara I would have started crying. I hate waking up early. 😂😭

Was Max the best hunting dog you’ve ever had?
I could never hunt. Without a cup of black rifle coffee joe...can't wait too go to deer camp 2021 the opener..
Family traditions! And the lamp keeping your grandpa with you is so nice.
