Flower subscriptions are such a lovely gift! Since you mentioned that you struggle with arranging them, I hope you won't object to a few tips from a former part-time floral designer: - Use a knife rather than scissors, and try to cut diagonally along the stalk so that more of the stalk's interior is exposed. This helps to maximize water absorption and flower life. - Don't feel like you need to use the whole length of any particular flower! Cutting filler pieces shorter and laying them at a very shallow angle helps to create a fuller shape. - Use the fillers and foliage to create a base before you start putting in the flowers you want to showcase. This gives you more precision on how they end up arranged. You can also use clear florist's tape to create a grid across the top of the vase to give you the same control with less filler. Happy arranging! Love your videos.
I love these video of yours, I enjoy watching them on my "slow mornings", they infuse so much calm in me and they help me getting in touch with my feminine side (I believe I already said it in the past, but oh well, it's still true). Thank you, wish you and your family the best XX
My daughter had a lip and tongue tie that was never diagnosed and even now as an adult, she has a gap in her teeth. That caused a miserable newborn. For her and me. And every time I watch your videos I'm just so incredibly happy that it seems like you all are getting along really well and everything seems so peaceful and I hope it's truly that way behind the scenes as well!I love seeing your videos and your sweet little family and your protecting your sons privacy but also giving us little fingers back of smooth little baby heads to look at!
Love your video. Your cardigan will grow a bit when you block it. Never skip blocking when you knit. It makes such a difference. A little warning: the way you keep your finger in a very stiff way is a way to get hurt. In dutch: carpaal tunnel syndroom. The best way to avoid pain is keeping your movements small ( your stitches close to your needle points) and your fingers relaxed. Fruity knitting has some eposides about knitting injury’s and how to avoid them. And believe me: I made all the knitting mistakes there are and wished some one had told me to keep my fingers more relaxed. Hope you enjoy all the knitting time you have and the comfortable garments you make for you and your baby. (BTW did I see you on the Breidagen in Nunspeet? Did you like it?
I love the embroidery! So sweet, and such a simple touch to make your work bags personalized and special. Now I have ideas for a use for the cloth bag *my* bedding came in!
The hat pattern you found to make for Floris (spelling?) is soooooo cute! I think I'll make one for my grand-niece. Robert did really well on his birthday gift that you get once a month. The flowers are so lovely. Love the repurposing of your linen bag. The embroidery for the project bag and your new little bag look great.
Such a cute craft bag, even though you were "distracted", it's so cute! Just use the needle to hold the little craft bag closed. I am of Finnish, Swedish heridage, and I asked my grandmother to crochet my kids each a set, a blanket, a sweater, and booties and hat, to wear when they were so little. Plus, I told her, I wanted something from her, that each child could have to pass down to their children in the future. A little something from their Great, Great Grandmother, made with love, for each of them to remember her from. I always think of this stuff when I see you make anything for flores, it's such a wonderful keepsake.
Love to see you on videos after giving birth. Iam also pregnant and whenever I have energy I do some sewing. After seeing your video I also want to make something for my baby with my own hands. Love you from India 🇮🇳
You should make the little gnome hat for baby in red. You know traditionally gnomes always wore red hats. It would look so cute if you made the pointier pattern. Your baby must be a very calm, happy baby because you make your videos and there isn't any crying or fussing in the background.
Crocheting dinosaur hoods for my two little boys while watching, ha :) Love this style of videos, even the hushed voice when trying not to wake up the baby, I get that sooo much! And aww to him accompanying you when filming :) Wishing you all the best through the sleep regression, it can get nerve-wracking.
So lovely and calm 🥰 I can't wait to see your cardigan finished and oh my goodness, get yourself a tally counter, you just type clicker tally counter on whatever online store is your preference, i have like 10 of them because i can't stick to just 1 or 2 projects 😂 they are sooo handy for crochet and knit 🙌🏼
Love the little Floris cameos ❤ especially since we were pregnant together for a time. My little guy is almost 8 weeks now. It was fun seeing you go through it all for the first time and remembering how I felt the first time too. Do not envy the sleep regression tho!
I'd highly recommend the app knit and note for counting your rows etc! You can also upload the pattern and make notes on the size you're making and any adjustments you made for future reference, I find it so useful! ✨
Not the slugpocalypse! My apocalyptic garden killer this year was Beatles. They didn't kill everything but they did eat all the pedals off of my echinacea/coneflowers! Poor things were just the cones not the flowers. 😢 The marigolds seem to help a lot in my peppers and my squash so I might try planting marigolds in close proximity to my perennials next spring.
I’ve always liked the calm vibe of your videos, but I’ve noticed that in your latest videos your voice has become so whispery, and for someone who has sensitivities to certain sounds, I can’t listen to your videos 🙈 I’m so sorry to bring this up.
Aaah sorry! I'm pretty much only able to film during baby's naps now so I have to speak quietly not to wake him 😅 But I can imagine it sounds pretty annoying, haha!
Please would you consider making your voice sound louder in editing? I like your channel but I'm considering unsubscribing because I can't stand the whispering.

These videos are just so relaxing and esthetically pleasing. I love hearing Baby Floris babbling. It’s so sweet! ❤😊
A delightful video for company when I'm sick with a bug. Thanks!
I love hearing Floris in the background!!

I knitted my son a gnome hat and I can confirm it's the cutest thing ever and well worth doing!
I love the calm atmosphere that you incorporate into your videos. Your music selection is impeccable. ❤

so happy to hear the baby sound in the vid. It gave your vid a new spirit if I make sense.

9:14 cute baby bouncing the camera. He has his own way of being involved.❤ Also loved the gurgles.

This baby pointy hat is absolutely adorable!

I love sitting down and crocheting while you knit! Really enjoying these relaxed, vlog-esque videos, especially as we move into autumn and winter
Such a cozy video. I loved the baby giving his input on your embroidery ideas. 😆🥰 So sweet.
Thanks for another really lovely video, so calm and relaxing as a I am sewing away. Especially loved the little baby vocal cameo, just adorable!
My first knitting project was an accidental doll’s gnome hat! 😅
And AAH FLORIS AND HIS LIL SOUNDS! ❤
The cardigan’s looking great!
A flower bouquet subscription is such a lovely gift. Also I hope you make the gnome hat for Floris! I can imagine how cute that would be
Thought I was the only weirdo who keeps the bag of the bedding for reuse!! The embroidery is very cute!!
This is the perfect video to watch before I go to sleep!

The Spring Garter Bonnet is a very cute free pattern for a gnome hat.
Aw, Floris ❤❤❤
Cosied up and ready to watch your video ❤
Watching this video while literally knitting the same sweater as you😍
It's definitely Evermore season! 😌
Somehow this woman's beauty and charm have increased 3X since becoming a mom.
Crocheting dinosaur hoods for my two little boys while watching, ha :)

Thank you. I have such a stressful time at the moment and I’m so thankful for your calming videos ❤

Raverly is the best source for patterns in my opinion...also gnome hats are adorable and so quick to make :)
Waiting for your new haircut update diy....stay blessed New mommy ❤

My mother knitted the B21-34 Aladdin from Drops for my daughter and it's super cute and vintagey 😊
lol- I also use the bag my bedding came in as my knitting project bag!
i love the name floris, and he sounds so adorable!!
‘Slug apocalypse’ 😂
Perfect timing! I just sat down with my knitting 😊
I started knitting that same cardigan this week! Looking forward to seeing your progress on it!
Gorgeous video, I feel so relaxed after watching this 😁💕
Lovely! 🐩
🍂🍵🪡 ready for the fall

Will you still be able to burn candles on a high shelf, above his reach, or maybe on the kitchen counter?
Came here to comment the same. With our baby everything he shouldn't touch went on shelves, counters and tables, including all of our houseplants. 😊
What app do you use to create the design for the embroidery? Love the adorable baby coos in the back ❤
Where is your beautiful white sweater from?❤
It's from Reserved! :)
