Thank you for answering my question on jumping in with the elite runners doing there sessions. It seems like the overall experience and attitude of the Kenyan runners is so free and welcoming. My favorite video blog, was when you were on a run and a bunch of kids joined in with you guys on their way to school. Thanks for taking us along with you on this experience. Good luck in Boston!

  • @MarkSmith_Best-Athletics

Think that you will definitely feel the benefits of training for 2 weeks at altitude. When I ran a Marathon at altitude in Uganda I could feel the effects of running at altitude for at least 2 months afterwards when returning to sea level and I only ran approx 5 times mostly at easy pace when I was at altitude. I also returned to the UK just before Christmas and done little running over the Christmas break.

All my runs and any morning shooting activity have been fasted throughout my life. Living with your parents as a kid and you step out early to play, breakfast wouldn't be made by then. I'd have all my breakfasts after my runs

Thank you so much Ben for taking us with you on this experience. Very well done, super interesting and beautiful impressions of Kenya. How many pairs of running shoes did you take with you ? Are there groups build up according to running levels or do all runners (athletes like you and "leisure runners") meet and talk and do some of the visits together ? Safe travels, get back well.

Hi Ben. Huge fan of the series and all of your content. Do the Kenyans use heart rate in training? Do they follow 80/20 trading method? Seems like most runs are at a much higher intensity over there. Thanks.
