Good afternoon! May I ask where you all host your freebies? Sadly, though I love Dropbox, it has an issue whereby editing tools are still available even with "view only." A viewer can't change the overarching file but they can still adjust it superficially. I know most of us don't want any edit tools available AND we want to be 100% sure we can share a "freebie" (still figuring out what kind - I'm in ecommerce!) publicly keeping any account we have completely secure. Would love any other options!

Great tips! I didn’t know about the add yours sticker, but now that I think about it, my stories do get more views when I use one. Also, just wanted to add that I was watching another video in which a rep from Instagram mentioned they really care about how many shares your content gets right now. And I do notice that my content with more shares end up getting to the explore page and has a much higher reach.

And yes shares (or send rate) is the top metric they're using to rank, both your observations are 100% on point. Appreciate you always! 🙌 We recommend keeping the most important standard links in your bio (e.g. freebies that lead to an email list, products/services/revenue-drivers/contact page) it's still valuable to have for sure, just doesn't see the same conversion as DM'ing the link directly to someone through call-to-actions in related content. - T

I plan to translate my short videos into Spanish, with different voiceovers and captions, and upload them to separate accounts on Instagram and TikTok. The video lengths might vary slightly, but the visual elements will remain the same. Will this cause any issues?

So welcome! Great question - they haven't specified anything about translations affecting the algo. I think it should be fine - at least you can test it and if you start getting flagged, then you'll need to edit the videos a little. My guess is the captions would get it over the line - C

@@Highseasonco But it seems really weird to me because videos in Spanish are not the same. The length of the speech varies depending on the language, which means the video length differs too. Plus, the captions...🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

@@ross01708 Interesting re TikTok. I can't really speak to that as it's not a platform we focus on much. Why are they being restricted on TT? Because it's a copy of the English video?

@@Highseasonco They just say that the video isn't being recommended. They don't give a specific reason; they just have a long list of possible reasons why this could happen. So yeah, it seems their algorithm probably flags the video as non-original

What's your niche? You're not too late since Instagram actually boosts small creators, but I suggest don't start without a plan. It'll really be scary if you don't have one. I have a life coach client who just created her account a month ago, and I'm already able to grow the following to 1000 and it's still counting. You can do this!🎉

Oh for SURE! That's called "proactive daily engagement". We suggest doing it as often as you can, but keep your actions (likes, comments) to around 60 per hour or you may get action blocked - C

Great question! They had to pull that post down because the wording was incorrect and because Manychat is an official Meta partner. They later confirmed they meant more engagement-bait tactics vs CTAs. - T
