Thank you. Perfect timing as we are starting work with 2 creators. We have struggled with a few whose following was full of bots. Great strategies all round from you both.
@@KhiraFashions Love it! The bot followers are a challenge, you can usually tell if you look through their follower list even just for a few scrolls. Appreciate you, Christine! :) - C
I’m wondering what should I do to find myself in the other side of the fence? How do I get on the creator list in the creator marketplace and how do I make sure that brands will find me attractive? Is it about the number of followers ? Reach of my posts? How do I stand out? How do I make sure brands know what my niche is?
Hey Bartosz, just heard back from Meta. Essentially IG Creator Marketplace is still invite-only, open to creators in eligible countries (business.instagram.com/blog/creatormarketplaceexpansion#:~:text=Business%20Suite.-,Update%20May%207%2C%202024,-%3A%20Today%20we%E2%80%99re), and must meet the following criteria: - Follow Meta's Branded Content Policies and Partner Monetization Policies. - Remain compliant with our Community Guidelines and Content Monetization Policies. - Be 18 years or older. Funnily enough, last week High Season's IG account got invited to be part of the Creator Marketplace, and another creator client/friend also got invited, so it looks like it's rolling out slowly if you meet the criteria. As far as how to ensure brands find you attractive, there are a number of factors. High-quality content, high engagement rate, decent follower count (engagement is more important, though), reach is definitely key. You'd want to leverage your bio to make it abundantly clear who you are, what you do and who you serve. That is easily the best way to ensure brands know how you are and what you're all about. Hope this helped, let me know if you have any other questions - C
I'm not quite there yet, but I plan on reaching out to a creator that I like and follow. I chose this creator, because I think she would be a good representation of my product, and we have local ties. I'm hoping it will open the door to other locals.
Awesome! The best kind of creator is the one who you have authentic admiration for, and who you feel best aligns with your audience. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions about process. - T
