  • Cramming a lot of basic Tuner Studio and Megalog viewer knowledge into this video to cover a lot of the normal questions I get. Let me know what else you might like to see.
I use megasquirt pnp2 on my turbo Miata. Full build information on my other videos.

Question - if EGO control is on during boost street tuning, wouldn't that affect the log showing the fuel won't need as much correcting, since it's already correcting it theoretically? I thought all auto-tunes should be done with No EGO corrections

Thanks for posting this vid. So how do you set your desired AFR? I'm considering the SpeedEFI and Tuner Studio. Right now I have the AEM F/IC but want fueling independent of the car's ECU, especially in closed loop operations. Car's ecu wants to pull fuel, fight the F/IC and I've tried O2 spoofing with little success. SpeedyEFI guys say I can run their product in piggyback mode, but it will remove the stock ECU's ability to trim fuel. Do you know of a good starter video? I will not have a base map - specific to my car as it's a bit of a frankenbuild, 2zr-swapped and turbo Yaris. I will be manually wiring it, like I did my F/IC as there is no PnP harness for my application. My goal is to set a specific AFR per boost range; say 12.5 from 1 - 3 psi, 12 from 3 - 5 psi and 11.5 from 5 - 8 psi. I also have a DIY W/M injection kit, so not worried about mildly leaner AFRs in boost. Thanks!

Got my sr20det running but its running richer than a stripper on free beer night 😂 Turned on auto tune but don't seem like its correcting much of anything. Got 740cc injectors and a TD06-20G.

I couldn't see it because of the reflection. I'm sure there is a video somewhere about making videos

So do you still do autotune after if you get an actual tune on a dyno? So basically you're gonna always be changing that maps? Are you able to reload old maps? They're all saved in?

If you get a tune by a professional you should not need to touch the map yourself for any reason

@@codycunningham1755 nice... I'll be running ms2 on my toyota pickup. And will be having a tuner tune it on a dynapack... so mainly autotune is just for the diy...

Ill be running Megasquirt on my stock engine for awhile before I install my turbo....will the basemap and some auto tune runs get me close enough to at least daily drive it without much issue?
