Rewatching all these episodes brings back a lot of memories of my boys being so little and loving to sit down at night with them and watch Roadkill! Fun times indeed
Hey uploader, idk what’s happening at motortrend that freiburger has started up his channel again and whatnot but I’m glad they didn’t come after you 20 uploads ago and thanks for doing this.
This was a great one. The big buick mod was cheap and effective. The switch pitch trans is killer covert hot rod hardware, woulda been great to have it swapped into the turbo 350 3 speed that was behind the chevy. Also this episode has some great techno riff and as well as some great burnout grinds. Good one!
My Olds 4-4-2 has a manual-activated switch pitch torque converter installed by the prior owner/seller. Hurst Olds truly screwed up by not getting these in 1968. I can put my manual valve body THM400 in top gear and drive all day at 15 mpg (thanks to the spread bore QJet and an ancient Allison captive discharge ignition system, but I think Pontiac was offering a similar CD ignition setup option by 1966?) or change stall speed and rip 0-60 mph in 5.5 seconds. which was quick enough back then
ha i love the Tube Sock tshirt david's wearing! i remember the submerged lake drive episodes on Dirt Every Day when they diesel swapped the old white jeep
I built my first hot rod around the ideas I read about in the Cheap Thrills Dart articles written by Freiburger. Which is kinda reminiscent of this particular episode of HRG! I've been a MTOD sub for as long as it's been a thing, and I just can't do the disco+ gig anymore. I pay the same price and watch the same shows, but have to see ads, ans have zero organization like it used to be..... I feel like I'm a die hard, and I just don't like what its doing for me anymore. This channel happens to do it furr me tho! Lol! Thanks for bein here, and having content available that's away from the d+ thing! Y'all are rad, don't ever forget that!
I used to drive a 1967 Pontiac Bonneville. It was quiet and comfortable, despite the 429 with a 4 BBL. It was a nice car. But sold it to a Dane who shipped it off to Norway. I guess they have a big following there.
Crop duster and the 66 buick and the flatfender and the blown bj5 Jeep and crusher impala and Camaro and fbomb Camaro are freiburger scrambler and super bee are My favorites
Not sure if the Fiat Lancia twincam can be described as half a Ferrari V8 but the sound of this naturally aspirated 4-cylinder making 280 rear wheel horsepower off 2-litres is awesome, possibly because it uses a Ferrari F106 head on the original X1/9 block. (F106 was originally from the 308 GT4 but was used in dozens of other models including the F40). Late F106 heads are VVT DOHC 16 or 20V. ruclips.net/video/9hNSLEY4VjY/видео.htmlsi=NcSf-ELvWx0XfcIN
I always laugh because I know where Steve lives, and they're just doing 1/4 miles runs on a junky couny road and donuts on some random farmers forklift loading pad like they own the place
I feel like David is the one who stands back and chooses what he does he seems like he’s very controlling I know he’s the main character of this show but still it don’t feel natural
Feels like 2014 for me all over again, Watching Roadkill as as a kid, still the same feeling!

4 door chevelle?? I didn't know that existed. That would be a very desirable car in Australia. We love 4 door muscle cars.
the first Roadkill series, they passed up a pair of quatro-port chevelles.
Yea and they are dirt cheap here in the US

I am so glad you guys left he Buick alone......That is so the right call.
But glad the Chevelle was a good fit.
Steve shorting a circuit when that thermo-quad kicks in! 🤣
I've done virtually that same swap in an '84 Cutlass 2 door. Total cost was less than $500

I wiuldve gone with the 455 with the ignition upgrades and chrome ect cause that one seems more race

STAGE I parts, and she's set!
basically a cam swap and send the head to KB for bigger valves.
Why does Frieburger always do all the heavy work? 😂 I’m joking I’ve been binge watching all your videos love it you guys are awesome

Bull,Dave squirrels his way out of all the shit work
Buick Awesomeness 😎
You should name the project B° of Freedom. (Big Block Buick)
thank you for choosing not to wreck the Widcat
Had a 67 buick lesabre , like to find one now to build.
"Big block." 😂
Chevelle hooligans 😅👍
please build another car with a really decent turbo's Dave , Steve , Mike
Give that 4 dr to ian at " full custom garage" and convert it to 2 door !!
I'm guessing whoever does the road maintenance around the Dulcich farm never has to reseal the asphalt. It's done with rubber.
There's no substitute for cubic inches and torque.
MORE LIKE THERMAJUNK QUAD

whats up with that?
headlights dont do burnouts...if they are at dulcichs place, they dont need them
I may be wrong, but wasn't this car the victim of an awful wrap job? I seem to remember black with orange flames.
Home made engine hoist so lets wear open toe sandals because nothing is going to go wrong.
Ffs.

J'aime moi sous le soleil
